Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh POC Top G2 dan jarak tanam terhadap hasil buncis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jalan. A.M. Sengaji, Kelurahan Kampung Baru. Kecamatan Tenggarong, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara Pada Januari sampai April 2014. Penelitian ini disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan analisis 2 faktorial 5 x 2 yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah perlakuan pupuk (p) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu : p0 (kontrol), p1 (0,0015 L-1 air ), p2 (0,003 L-1air), p3 (`0,0045 L-1 air) dan p4 (0,00 6 L-1air ). Faktor kedua tentang jarak tanam yang terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu l1 (20 cm x 40 cm) dan l2 (20 cm x 50 cm). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengaruh POC Top G2 dan jarak tanam terhadap hasil buncis berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil panen t ha-1 , hasil tertinggi pada perlakuan p2 (0,003 L-1 air) yaitu 0,89 t ha-1 dan hasil panen terendah p0 ( kontrol) yaitu, 0,61 t ha-1Kata Kunci: POC Top G2, jarak tanam, buncis

Abstract

Kegiatan pembangunan bidang pertanian di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara perlu dievaluasi dalam rangka mengetahui kinerja pembangunan pertanian yang telah dilaksanakan sekaligus untuk pengambilan kebijakan pengembangan pertanian ke depan yang lebih baik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pembangunan pertanian di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara tahun 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis diskriftif kualitatif-kuantitatif, analisis komofitas unggulan, analisis statistika, dan analisis stakeholder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan sektor pertanian terhadap PDRB Kutai Kartanegara pada tahun 2013 cukup tinggi dibanding sektor lainnya yaitu mencapai 13,84 % (tanpa migas) dan dengan migas sekitar 7,50 %. Hal yang sama dengan PDRB perkapita juga cukup tinggi dan menduduki urutan kedua dibandingkan dengan kabupaten/kota lainnya di Kalimantan Timur, yaitu sebesar Rp 190.250.000,- pada tahun 2013. Sumberdaya manusia di sektor pertanian cukup besar yaitu sekitar 30,25 % atau sekitar (207.330 jiwa dari seluruh penduduk Kutai Kartanegara. Nilai Tukar Petani (NTP) dan Nilai Tukar Nelayan (NTN) pada tahun 2013 rata-rata di atas dari nilai 100, kecuali perikanan budidaya. Komoditas padi sawah, jagung, ubi kayu, kelapa sawit, karet, lada, sapi, ayam, perikanan laut, keramba dan tambak merupakan komoditas unggulan daerah. Khusus untuk padi sawah, luas panen mencapai 37.113 Ha dengan produksi sebesar 189.393 ton. Dari produksi tersebut, daerah ini surplus beras sebesar 37.815,60 ton atau 60.311.97 ton GKG.Key Word : Evaluasi, Pembangunan, Pertanian

Abstract

A study of the soil moisture dynamics and conservation resulted from the mulch adding and soil amendment was carried out in the Laboratory of Soil Science of Agriculture Faculty of Gadjah Mada University. The experiment was conducted using a Factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of mulch adding (Mo = without the mulch and M1 = with the mulch) and fourrates of soil amendment (Po = 0, P1 = 4, P2 = 8 and P3 = 12 Mg.ha-1). The experiment used Mediteran top soil ( Vertic Eutropepts ). Tensiometers were installed at the 15, 30 and 45 cm soil depths of all plots. Every treatment was repeated three times. The soil properties which were observed included particle size distributions, bulk density, particle density, soil moisture characteristic. Soil temperature, saturated and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity, organic matter, fulvic acid, C/N and HA/FA ratios. Tensoimeter readings were taken daily, diurnal variation in soil temperature at a depth of 15 cm and air temperature were monitored with thermometers. The result of this experiment, generally speaking, showed that the mulch adding decreases the upward flow of the soil moisture and reduces the evaporation rate and then decreases the loss of the soil moisture. The soil amendment from the green manure does not have a role to improve soil physical properties. However, it increases the ability to hold the soil moisture, so the loss of soil moisture resulted from percolation is decreased. In fact, the role of soil amendment to increase the soil moisture content is less than the mulch, and then there is no interaction between the two factors which are tested.Key Words : mulch, soil amendment, soil moisture dynamics, soil moisture conservation.

Abstract

The purpose of research was to know the effect of Bokashi and POC Bintang Kuda Laut to the growth and yield of eggplant.The research was conducted on April to July 2013 at Loa Ipuh, sub distric of Tenggarong. The research was arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 4x4 analysis factorial and three replications. The first factor was of Bokashi (B) consisted of four levels i,e ; b0 (control), b1 (5 t Bokashi fertilizer ha-1),b2 (7,5 t Bokashi fertilizer ha-1) and b3 (10 t Bokashi fertilizer ha-1).The second factor was POC Bintang Kuda Laut (P) consisted of four levels i.e p0 (control), p1 (0.001 L-1 condensation), p2 (0.002 L-1 condensation) and p3 (0.003 L-1 condensation).The result of research showed that Bokashi were significantly affected to the all parameters. The highest weight of yield per plant of was obtained at Bokashi b3 (10 t pupuk Bokashi ha-1) with average 4.37 kg to compared of control was average 3.40 kg.The effect of POC Bintang Kuda Laut showed were significantly affected to the all parameters. The highest weight of yield per plant of was obtained at p3 (0.003 L-1 condensation) with average 4.23 kg to compared of control was average 3.41 kg. No Interaction between Bokashi and POC Bintang Kuda to the all parameters.Keyword : bokashi, POC bintang kuda laut, eggplant

Abstract

Ironwood or Ulin (Eusideroxylon zwageri Teijsm. & Binn.) coppice are potential natural regeneration to preserve Ulin resouces. A survey of ironwood regeneration was conducted as long as Belian Trail in Kubah National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia. A total of 33 coppice-shoots were recorded on 22 Ulin stumps. There were 6 seedlings, 49 saplings, 23 poles, and one tree recorded surrounding the coppicing. They were found in Quadrant I (25), Quadrant II (27), Quadrant III (16), and Quadrant IV (9). Information about regeneration and coppicing pattern of Ulin are useful for forest management and conservation, due to availability of their high natural regeneration.Keywords: Distribution, regeneration, coppice, stump, ironwood.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to find out pasar malam impact to farming yield at Tenggarong district, by marketing chains, margins and distribution margins from the farming yield. Focus these farming yield was spinach, kale, water spinach, mustard and chili.Marketing chains of these farming yield through short chains marketing of nine percents, ninety percents through medium chains and one percents through long chains. Average margins of spinachs was Rp. 1.069,91,- water spinach Rp. 552,46,- kale Rp. 1.856,34,- mustard Rp. 3.099,57 and chili Rp. 19.548,88,-. Composition of margin distribution is marketing cost 74,63% and 25,36% profits.Key words: pasar malam, farming yield marketing and marketing chains
