Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and service quality on brand image and customer satisfaction either partially or simultaneously on Giant Citra Raya Tangerang. The population of this study is Giant Citra Raya customers which averages 2,070,823 / 12/30 = 5752 per day. The sample in this research using Slovin formula is 152 customers. Quantitative analysis method using path analysis, followed by determination analysis (R Square), partial hypothesis testing (t test) and simultaneous (F test) with alpha 5 percent. Before further analyzed first tested the instrument and test the classical assumption. Analytical tool using SPSS version 21.0 for windows. The result of the research shows that product quality and service quality are partially and simultaneously have positive and significant effect on brand image and customer satisfaction, and brand image has influence to customer satisfaction at Giant Citra Raya Tangerang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine determinants of cash holdings of non-financial firms listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2012 and 2015. Sample of this research covers 328 firms (1312 observations). This research employs fixed effect model. The results show that net working capital and sales growth have positive effects on cash holding, while firm size has negative effect. Cash flow, cash flow variability, cash conversion cycle, liquidity, leverage do not affect the cash holdings.

Abstract

The development of cosmetics industry in Indonesia is currently in good condition. People, especially women, are increasingly aware of the importance of cosmetics ranging from the use for important events to as daily necessities. The roles of lifestyle through activity, interest, and opinion play a major role in determining a person's decision especially in terms of making a purchase (Sathis and Rajamohan, 2008). Other than lifestyle brand image play and important role in customer buying decision of lipstick. Path analysis are conducted in order to determine the impact of both factor on buying decision.Furthermore, the method analyze the causal relationships that occur in multiple regression analysts if the independent variables affect other variables either partially or simultaneously.Results show the significance of the model which show that both lifestyle and brand image gave impact on lipstick buying decisionby 75.6% and 24.4% are influenced by other variables not explained in the research. All in all it become more concise to say that lifestyle and brand image are take depth root in customer decision making processes.

Abstract

Train users in Indonesia began to increase, it can be seen from the data of passengers as a whole increased from year to year. These improvements must be supported with the customer perceived value, because it will affect of rail users. Long distance train in Indonesia distinguished its kind, namely the executive, business and economics. In this study, it more emphasis on the train executives, especially in Java. Issues examined here is whether the customer perceived value have an influence on satisfaction and commitment resulting in loyalty. This affects the sustainability of a rail business, because the level of competition arise among existing transportation, whether by air, land or sea. Sampling was done by simple random sampling, the number of respondents was 323. The instrument was tested with reliability and validity. The data used to answer the problem by using structural equation modeling with six hypotheses were tested. The results indicate that the hypothesis occurs between the customer perceived value influence consumer satisfaction and commitment. The effect between satisfaction and commitment to loyalty shows that satisfaction has no effect on loyalty, commitment while consumers have an influence on loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to estimate the condition of economic value and demand ofthis particular area, estimate the carrying capacity as a condition of supply and formulatea strategy to determine the policy of marine tourism development with considerations ofsustainability of this Kuta Beach Area using a dynamic model. The method used forgathering the necessary data is purposive sampling, while the method of data analysis isthe analysis of supply with a carrying capacity analysis approach, analysis of tourismdemand with Travel Cost Method (TCM), financial feasibility analysis, prospectiveanalysis and dynamic analysis. The result of this research shows the number of tourists inKuta Beach is less than the carrying capacity of the island, so there isan opportunity toincrease the number of tourists. The result of demand analysis based on TCM is Rp8.614.874.595/year with an average of consumer surplus of Rp 42.250 with a number of203.899tourists in 2015. Based on the financial feasibility analysissuch as NPV, NetB/C, and IRR, it is concluded that the business of tourism in Kuta Beach is bothfinancially and economically feasible. The prospective analysis recommends a policybased on the opinion of the stakeholders that can be formulated as strategic implicationsand anticipatory actions in the Kuta Beach Area management plan. Dynamic analysisshows an increase in ecological, economic and social submodels.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of brand equity as a competitive advantage associated with the decision-making process in the selection of universities. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The object of this research as many as 100 people in West Jakarta, especially in the area of Kembangan and Kebon Jeruk. The approach used in this research is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Smart PLS analysis tool. The results showed that brand equity has a positive and significant impact on competitive advantage. Brand equity has a positive and significant impact on decision stability. However, competitive advantage shows no effect on decision making.

Abstract

This study aims to provide information on the level of satisfaction of traineesJournal service quality training quality and the most influential factor in the region Ko3fgpertis III. Methods of data collection in this study using the registration documentation(questionnaires), interviews and observations. Data were analyzed using descriptiveanalysis techniques servqual quantitative analysis method and Cartesian diagrams usingSPSS 17. Based on the research results can be obtained gap (the gap value) of tangibledimension, realibility, responsivness, empathy, and assurance sequentially ie-1.69,-2.12,-2:09,-2.04, and-1.75. Based on the analysis Cartesian diagram attributes into three mainpriorities for repair iefriendliness, attention and courtesy of the staff committee and theirinstructors, clear information about the facility and rules for participants, classroomfacilities to support teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of earnings before tax and provisions, the quality of voluntary disclosure, needs for external financing, other alternatives to earnings management, and firm size to discretionary loan loss provisions in banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples used were 26 banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2011-2013. Data analysis was performed with the aid of a software program Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) for Windows version 20. The results showed that earnings before tax and provisions have an influence on discretionary loan loss provisions, while the quality of voluntary disclosure, needs for external financing, other alternatives to earnings management, and firm size does not have any influence on discretionary loan loss provisions.

Abstract

The purposes of this study is to determine whether there is influence of Trustand Commitment to Supply Chain Performance with Quality of Relation asan interveningvariable, Production and Distribution case study of Dedak on PD. Sederhana. Variablesused in this research are trust and commitment as independent variables, Supply ChainPerformance as Dependent variable, and quality of relation as intervening variable. Thisresearch used quantitative method by using descriptive research and causal research. Datafrom the 4 variables were analyzed by using Structural Equation Model (SEM) inSoftware SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) version 1.0. The numberof samples used in thisstudy were 57 respondents.Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded thatthere is positive and significant relation among trust and commitment to the quality ofrelation, whereas there is positif significant relationamong Trust and commitment tosupply chain performance. The result of analysis indicate that the quality of relation is ableto mediate trust and commitment influence to supply chain performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Style of Leadership and Career Development effect on Turnover Intention in PT. Takenaka Indonesia, either directly or through job satisfaction as an intermediary factor. PT. Takenaka Indonesia is a Japanese company, which is engaged in construction services include design, supervision and contractor, established since 1994.The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, whereas the method used to analyze the research data is The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The population in this study were employees of PT. Takenaka Indonesia, both permanent employees and contract employees who were three hundred and ninety-two,and the number of samples is one hundred and ninety-two, which taken using stratified random sampling technique. Based on Statistics test results using SEM analysis technique, it was found that (1) style of leadership and career development had a positive influence on job satisfaction; and (2) The style of leadership and career development a positive influence on turnover intention, either directly or through the Job Satisfaction
