Abstract

Down syndrome children experience slower language development due to anatomical differences and otitis media or infection of the middle ear. Language development barriers in children can occur in two forms. This study aims to analyze the language development of children with Down syndrome. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a case study approach model. The data collection techniques used in this research include interview, observation, and documentation techniques. This research was conducted in the Small Industry of Parepare City. The subject of this research was FJ who is eight years old with down syndrome. This study shows the results that of the nine indicators of speech and language development of eight-year-old children, FJ has not been able to tell funny stories and riddles to others, FJ has not been able to carry out orders and often asks for repetition of words, FJ has not known the reading that was shown but FJ was able to repeat the reading that was thrown by the researcher, FJ has not been able to write and send letters correctly, FJ has not been able to capture a vocabulary when communicating, FJ rarely responds to praise or criticism to others because FJ is lacking in communication, FJ has not been able to write letters with dotted lines, FJ has not understood code language such as the shape of a butterfly, and FJ has not been able to communicate fluently.Anak down sindrom mengalami perkembangan bahasa lebih lambat karena perbedaan anatomi dan otitis media atau infeksi pada bagian tengah telinga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa metode penelitian kualitatif dengan model pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Industri Kecil Kota Parepare. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa FJ belum mampu melontarkan cerita lucu dan teka-teki kepada orang lain, FJ belum mampu melaksanakan perintah dan sering meminta pengulangan kata, FJ belum mengetahui bacaan yang diperlihatkan namun FJ mampu mengulang bacaan yang dilontarkan oleh peneliti, FJ belum mampu menulis dan mengirim surat dengan tepat, FJ belum mampu menangkap suatu kosakata saat berkomunikasi, FJ jarang memberi respon pujian atau kritikan kepada orang lain, FJ belum mampu menulis huruf dengan garis putus-putus, FJ belum memahami bahasa kode seperti bentuk kupu-kupu, dan FJ belum mampu berkomunikasi dengan lancar.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's visual intelligence through collage activities in early childhood. This study uses a class action research method (CAR). This research was conducted at Raudhatul Athfal Rabbani Islamic School which is located in the 1st district of Medan Helvetia. This research shows that: 1. Lack of children in doing sticking activities. 2. Children are less independent in completing collage activities. 3. Lack of children in sticking seeds into the shape of a picture pattern. Thus, to see an increase in visual intelligence through grain collage activities in early childhood learning at Raudhatul Athfal Rabbani Islamic School in Medan Helvetia sub-district 1, PAUD teachers need to pay attention to and apply it in order to improve early childhood learning media.Penelitian ini bermaksud guna mengoptimalkan kecerdasan visual anak dalamĀ  kegiatan kolase pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Raudhatul Athfal Rabbani Islamic School yang bertempat di lingkungan 1 kecamatan Medan Helvetia. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1. Kurangnya anak dalam melakukan kegiatan menempel. 2. Kurang mandirinya anak dalam menyelesaikan kegiatan kolase. 3. Kurangnya anak dalam menempel biji kedalam bentuk pola gambar. Dengan demikian untuk melihat peningkatan kecerdasan visual melalui kegiatan kolase biji-bijian dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini di Raudhatul Athfal Rabbani Islamic School di lingkungan 1 kecamatan Medan Helvetia perlu diperhatikan serta diterapkan oleh para guru PAUD agar dapat meningkatkan media pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

Early childhood social development is one aspect that is considered in detail by researchers, educators and parents. The development of social aspects in children is formed from the family, neighbors and school environment. Character formation at an early age has a major influence on a child's life. One of the characters that has a big influence on children is the entrepreneurial spirit. The entrepreneurial spirit is a characteristic that has the ability to be independent, leadership, creative, responsible, courageous and innovative. The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of inculcating an entrepreneurial spirit in the development of the social aspects of early childhood. The research methodology used in this study isqualitative descriptive, which seeks to describe systematically, accurately the facts and characteristics that exist in the field. Data collection was obtained from the results of interviews, observations and documentation. Respondents in this study were 15 parents, 12 educators and 15 early childhood children. The data analysis technique used is in the form of textual analysis of the results of structured field notes. The data validity technique in this study uses credibility, triangulation and uses reference materials. The results showed that the cultivation of an entrepreneurial spirit in the development of social aspects of early childhood requires stimulation and support from the family environment, namely parents and the school environment, namely teachers or educators. The entrepreneurial spirit has an influence on the process of children's social development, namely children have the courage to interact with the surrounding environment.Perkembangan sosial pada anak merupakan hal penting yang diperhatikan secara rinci dan terus berkembang melalui para peneliti, pendidik dan orangtua. Perkembangan aspek sosial pada anak dibentuk dari lingkungan keluarga, tetangga dan sekolah. Pembentukan karakter pada masa usia dini memiliki pengaruh besar dalam kehidupan anak. Salah satu karakter yang memiliki pengaruh besar pada diri anak adalah jiwa kewirausahaan. Jiwa kewirausahaan merupakan karakteristik yang memiliki kemampuan dalam kemandirian, kepemimpinan, kreativitasan, bertanggung jawab, berani dan inovatif. Tujuan artikel ilmiah ini adalah untuk memperoleh pengetahuan pentingnya penanaman jiwa kewirausahaan pada masa perkembangan sosial anak usia dini. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu berusaha untuk menggambarkan secara sistematik, akurat fakta dan karakteristik yang ada dilapangan. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara kepada respondenn, pendidik dan 15 anak usia dini. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis tekstual dari hasil catatan observasi dilapangan dan dokumentasi. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah 15 orang tua, 12 lapangan yang telah terstruktur. Teknik keabsahan data pada penelitian ini meggunakan credibility, triangulasi dan menggunakan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman jiwa kewirausahaan dalam perkembangan aspek sosial anak usia dini membutuhkan stimulasi dan dukungan dari lingkungan keluarga yaitu orangtua dan lingkungan sekolah yaitu guru atau pendidik. Jiwa kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh pada proses perkembangan sosial anak yaitu anak memiliki keberanian dalam berinteraksi pada lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

Learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic, many parents had difficulty accompanying their children in studying. It is not easy for schools to gather and provide guidance to parents because it creates crowds. Various collaborations with parents are sought so that children continue to learn optimally. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 26 Malang Kindergarten implemented an online parenting education program. Research during the Covid-19 pandemic at Kindergarten ABA 26 Malang aims to describe (a) a general description of the implementation of activities, (b) supporting factors for activities, (c) factors inhibiting activities, (d) results of implementing activities for parents and children. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research design. Data collection methods: observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants for this research: school principals, teachers and parents. The research results show that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the parenting education program at Kindergarten ABA 26 Malang was: providing a platform for offline and online parent consultations, parenting education seminars via the zoom meeting application and YouTube live streaming with expert speakers, involving parents at home at the peak theme. The stages of the parenting education program with resource persons are: preparation, implementation and evaluation stages.Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) pada masa pandemi covid-19 yang terjadi, banyak orang tua kesulitan mendampingi anak belajar. Sekolah tidak mudah mengumpulkan dan memberi pengarahan orang tua sebab menimbulkan kerumunan. Berbagai kerjasama dengan orang tua diupayakan agar anak tetap belajar optimal. Pada masa pandemi covid-19 TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 26 Malang melaksanakan program pendidikan parenting secara daring. Penelitian pada masa pandemi covid-19 di TK ABA 26 Malang bertujuan mendeskripsikan (a) gambaran umum pelaksanaan kegiatan, (b) faktor pendukung kegiatan, (c) faktor penghambat kegiatan, (d) hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan bagi orang tua terhadap anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpul datanya: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini: kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian bahwa pada masa pandemi covid-19 program pendidikan parenting TK ABA 26 Malang yaitu: menyediakan wadah konsultasi orang tua secara offline dan online, seminar pendidikan parenting melalui aplikasi zoom meeting dan live streaming youtube bersama narasumber ahli, pelibatan orang tua di rumah pada puncak tema. Tahapan program pendidikan parenting bersama narasumber yaitu: tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of children's beginning reading before and after being given ROCA media treatment and to find out how the influence of ROCA (Reading Wheel) media on the ability of beginning reading in children aged 5-6 years at Muslimat NU 2 Hasyim Asyari Kindergarten, Malang Regency. The problem encountered by researchers in the field is the lack of a variety of learning media used by teachers so that students have difficulty recognizing letters, recognizing words, and recognizing vowels and consonants. In addition, during reading activities the teacher requires students to write so that there is very little time to learn to read so that the language aspects of children become less optimal. The research method used by researchers is quantitative research with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The media used as treatment in this research is ROCA media. Data were collected through observation and documentation data collection techniques. Researchers used the SPSS program to analyze data consisting of normality, homogeneity, t-test, simple linear regression, and coefficient of determination tests. The results showed that there was a significant effect of ROCA media on students' beginning reading skills. This is evidenced in the simple linear regression test results with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The effect of ROCA media on students' beginning reading ability has an R square value of 70.6% and other variables not discussed in this study have a percentage of 29.4%.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan membaca permulaan anak sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment media ROCA serta mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh media ROCA (Roda Baca) terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Muslimat NU 2 Hasyim Asyari Kabupaten Malang. Permasalahan yang ditemui peneliti di lapangan yaitu kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan mengenal huruf, mengenal kata, dan mengenal huruf vokal dan konsonan. Selain itu, pada saat kegiatan membaca guru mengharuskan siswa untuk menulis sehingga waktu untuk belajar membaca sangat sedikit sehingga aspek bahasa pada anak menjadi kurang optimal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti yaitu menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Media yang digunakan sebagai treatment pada penelitian ini yaitu media ROCA. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan juga dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan program SPSS untuk menganalisis data yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, homogenitas, t-test, regresi linear sederhana, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan media ROCA terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Hal tersebut dibuktikan pada hasil uji regresi linear sederhana dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Pengaruh media ROCA terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa memiliki nilai R square sebesar 70,6% dan variabel-variabel lain yang tidak dibahas pada penelitian ini memiliki persentase sebesar 29,4%.
