Abstract

This article discusses Pawukon Saka which is a mathematical calendar.This article explains mathematical knowledge required to create Pawukon Saka and particularly called as Javanese Mathematics. The Pawukon Saka Calendar obtained is then used to check some calendars sculpted on various epigraphs using The Chinese Remainder Problem. There are some mistakes in the names of wuku sculpted on some epigraphs after checking.

Abstract

This paper discusses fuzzy labeling graph and its properties. The properties discussed are fuzzy labeling subgraph, union graph, and fuzzy magic graph. The results showed that the strength of connectedness for pair of vertices in a graph with fuzzy labeling is always greater than or equal to the strength of connectedness for pair of vertices in its subgraph. In addition, union of two graph with fuzzy labeling will form a graph with fuzzy labeling. Meanwhile, on magic labeling there is always a fuzzy bridge on fuzzy magic graph.

Abstract

A BTS (Base Transceiver Station) is an element that has an important role as a receiver and transmitter of signals. A call request from a mobile phone to another through a BTS will be connected if there is a channel available. In the situation of overload, it is necessary to optimize the use of the bandwidth. This research consider the problem of optimizing the use of BTS’s bandwidth by users at four regions of Surabaya. The problem is represented as a mathematical model of the preemptive linear goal programming. The model has two optimization goals with the priority level. The method of sequential goal programming is used. Based on the solution, BTS traffic capacity can accommodate all the traffic demand from cellular phone users if the region A has 131,58 Erlang, region B has 1.425,45 Erlang, region C has 351,4 Erlang, and region D has 619,57 Erlang. The total capacity of traffic does not exceed the total capacity of BTS, because the total traffic capacity is decrease by 81,67 Erlang. The study also shows that a changing in the order of objective goal is not recommended.

Abstract

Increasingly strong competition in intercollegiate and students who increasingly selective and knowledgeable require universities to continue to improve his ministry. Matter requires a knowledge of the conditions for this service, that has adapted to student expectations or not . This study aimed to determine the extent to which level the match between the expected service quality and perceived student at Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unsoed and explain the influence of the five dimensions of service quality that is tangibles, reliability, responsiviness, assurance and empathy for student satisfaction and loyalty. Results of the study was assessment of the quality of student services at the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unsoed is perceived service quality is still below the expected service quality , perceived still not satisfactory. Five dimensions of service quality consisting of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, positive effect on student satisfaction. Satisfaction indirect influence on student loyalty and there is a direct influence of the five dimensions of service quality on loyalty through student satisfaction. Student loyalty translated in expressing positive things about the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences to others , recommending courses at the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences to the others, recruiting new employees from alumni, and ready to provide assistance if needed.

Abstract

This paper discusses a fuzzy subgroup of a classical group. It’s constructed by defining fuzzy subsets and employing products and inverse notions on classical group. The result obtained is sufficient and necessary conditions for the fuzzy subset to be fuzzy subgroup.

Abstract

This study discusses the simple bivariate linear regression on weather data in Cilacap district. This simple bivariate linear regression using the two response variables, rainfall () and humidity of an area (), and one predictor variable, the air temperature (). Regression model test method is a Wilk's Lamda test, the value of Wilk's Lamda = 0.881101 less than lambda table 0.903. The results show that the model and the both parameters are significant, with mean deviation error model is .

Abstract

In this paper will be shown a graph formulation as a formal approaches in research Model-Driven Development (MDD) with a case study : the development of Electronic Medical Record (RME) on the scope of the public health center. The model was designed using UML notation and be selected a State Machine diagram that represents prerequisite user needs (requirements). Before the model is derived (driven) into the skeleton code, the accuracy of the state machine must be verified. In order for the State Machine can be verified by formal approach, the State Machine should be first transformed into a propositional formula using the complete graph approach, and partial models. The initial phase of verification will check the suitability of the model with the requirements in Propositional Normal Form (PNF) using SAT Solver, respectively as and . SAT solver will provide a design decision, whether a requirement represented in the model or not. If these requirements are not hold in the model, the requirement is not certainty (uncertain) and model must be redesigned.

Abstract

The background of the research is the needs of human resources that are able to think creatively in order to utilize and develop science and technology. One of the ways to overcome it is to optimize the improvement of students’ ability to think creatively in accelerated classes. Accelerated classes are accelerated learning program. Thus, the need of creative human resources can be immediately fulfilled. The aim of the research are to determine the students’ creativity and describe the process of students’ creative thinking in solving open mathematical problem. Creative thinking process is traced by referring to the stage of creative thinking by Wallas, namely preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification. This research is qualitative- descriptive. The research instruments used in the research were a problem-solving task sheet and in-depth interviews. The subjects in this research were students in accelerated classes in Jambi. Analysis of data used data analysis according to Miles and Huberman which consists of data reduction, exposure data and drawing conclusions. The results show that there are 8% of creative students from 25 students in accelerated class in solving open mathematical problems. Then 72% are less creative and 20% are not creative. In solving open mathematical problems, creative and less creative students pass through the four stages of creative thinking process by Wallas. Students who are not creative only pass through the three stages of creative thinking process which are preparation, incubation, and illumination.

Abstract

. Lesson Study (LS) is the learning of assessment activities carried out by a group of teachers / faculty collaborative and sustainable to test and improve the effectiveness of learning. In this study, the implementation of lesson study to improve student interest in learning through the learning method Seminars Group. The results obtained by analysis of the average increase student interest in learning. Cycle 1 gained an average interest of students 67, 86 in the category of high interest in learning. In the first cycle of the findings of the observer focused on seating position make it difficult for the observer to move and students still do not concentrate on learning. Seat that is positioned in groups. Cycle 2 gained an average of 70.78 in the category of student interest high interest in learning. In Cycle 2 focused on the position of the seat. Apparently after the seat is positioned to the observer, the motion less students, so many students are easily sleepy and easier to jaw, with no attention to the lecturer. Cycle 3 gained an average of 72.59 students' interest in the category of high interest. In the do cycle 3, the observer gain some findings that many students were late, and there are still some students who own story. This is possible because they are too short presentation and question focus. Suggestions observer, lecturer models the moderator in the learning process. Cycle 4 gained an average of 72.71 in the category of student interest high interest in learning. Learning is in conformity with the plan, but there are still students who do the work of other subjects. This is a model professor responded by asking questions that make students think, re-concentration of students with learning again.

Abstract

The teacher-centered learning causes less active students during the learning process. Application of learning method using cooperative learning model Quick on the Draw at the second grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Kleco III Yogyakarta can improve learning activities of the students. The Classroom Action Research conducted in three cycles, with the research object is 31 students. Data were collected using observation sheet and interview session. Furthermore, data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. It is obtained that the percentage of student learning activities from Cycle I is 70.51% (good), Cycle II is 78.56% (good) and Cycle III is 87.095% (very good). Based on the interviews, it is obtained that most of students are interested and feel happy in the learning of mathematics using cooperative learning model Quick on the Draw.
