Abstract

In Indonesia, especially Bandung, there are still many cases of maternal deaths during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum which can increase the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). Cases of maternal deaths are mostly due to exsanguination, infection, anemia, and the other causes that related to pregnancy. To reduce the MMR of Bandung, we can analyze to determine the factors that influence the MMR in order to maximize the maternal health care programs so as to prevent the possibility of death. The analysis is using Zero-Inflated Poisson (ZIP) regression because maternal mortality data is the result of counting that allows overdispersion due to excess zeros. Regression parameter estimation use expectation maximization algorithm followed by the Newton-Raphson iteration method. The analysis result showed that of the five suspected factors to affect the MMR -such as the first tetanus toxoid immunization (TT1), the provision of 90 Fe tablets (Fe3), postpartum care, pregnancy complications, and the first antenatal care (K1)- only TT1 and postpartum care are significantly affect the MMR.

Abstract

A critical set in edge magic total labeling on graph G is a subset label such that it can forms the edge magic total labeling uniquely. This paper investigate critical set on Banana Tree graph. The result shows some properties of critical set on Banana Tree graph, such as the size of it at least , where n is number of leaf and k is number of star, except the size of critical set on graph BT(1,1) is 2. Beside it, if x is the label of any leaf and y is the label of the edge adjacent to it then each critical set in λ must contain either x or y, not both.

Abstract

Lately when rainfall in West Java is quite high, the problem of flooding caused by overflowing of the river has always been a trending topic of regional leaders. Whatever the causes of flooding, be it because a lot of waste dumped in rivers or due to illegal logging of trees in the forest, the river water discharge increased rapidly, and overflowed into public housing. Based on the above, it should be made a model that can predict the water discharge of the river from time to time in various locations in West Java. In this paper will be presented studies Space Time Auto Regression models STAR (1,1) to model the problem of water discharge some rivers in West Java, which can be useful for predicting the discharge of river water in the future. By using Least Squares Method as predictors for the parameters, as well as assuming a uniform weighting matrix, the result that the water discharge of a river in addition affected by the river water flow at an earlier time, it is also influenced by the discharge of river water around.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study the super matrix fuzzy using square symmetric properties of the matrix approach. Super fuzzy symmetry square matrix is constructed using the algorithm proposed by the author. The algorithm is derived from the concept of four square fuzzy submatrices. After that, the algorithm is translated into Matlab and repeatedly studied so that it meets super matrix symmetry properties. In this algorithm, Matlab is used to support the construction of super square fuzzy symmetry matrix with a very large order.

Abstract

Multivariate Cox proportional hazard models have ratio property, that is the ratio of hazard functions for two individuals with covariate vectors z1 and z2 are constant (time independent). In this study we talk about estimation of prameters on multivariate Cox model by using Maximum Partial Likelihood Estimation (MPLE) method. To determine the appropriate estimators that maximize the ln-partial likelihood function, after a score vector and a Hessian matrix are found, numerical iteration methods are applied. In this case, we use a Newton Raphson method. This numerical method is used since the solutions of the equation system of the score vector after setting it equal to zero vector are not closed form. Considering the studies about multivariate Cox model are limited, including the parameter estimation methods, but the methods are urgently needed by some fields of study related such as economics, engineering and medical sciences. For this reasons, the goal of this study is designed to develop parameter estimation methods from univariate to multivariate cases.

Abstract

. Lesson Study (LS) is the learning of assessment activities carried out by a group of teachers / faculty collaborative and sustainable to test and improve the effectiveness of learning. In this study, the implementation of lesson study to improve student interest in learning through the learning method Seminars Group. The results obtained by analysis of the average increase student interest in learning. Cycle 1 gained an average interest of students 67, 86 in the category of high interest in learning. In the first cycle of the findings of the observer focused on seating position make it difficult for the observer to move and students still do not concentrate on learning. Seat that is positioned in groups. Cycle 2 gained an average of 70.78 in the category of student interest high interest in learning. In Cycle 2 focused on the position of the seat. Apparently after the seat is positioned to the observer, the motion less students, so many students are easily sleepy and easier to jaw, with no attention to the lecturer. Cycle 3 gained an average of 72.59 students' interest in the category of high interest. In the do cycle 3, the observer gain some findings that many students were late, and there are still some students who own story. This is possible because they are too short presentation and question focus. Suggestions observer, lecturer models the moderator in the learning process. Cycle 4 gained an average of 72.71 in the category of student interest high interest in learning. Learning is in conformity with the plan, but there are still students who do the work of other subjects. This is a model professor responded by asking questions that make students think, re-concentration of students with learning again.

Abstract

Orange fruits are important commodities in Indonesia. However, the efforts to increase production of oranges still have obstacles. One of them is because ofCVPD (Citrus Vein Phloem Degeneration) disease. The spread of CVPD disease in orange plants can be modeled by mathematical model, that is epidemic model betweenorange plants as a host plant and Diaphorina Citri as a vector. In this model, predation response follows Holling Type II response function. The model is then analyzed by checking the stability of the equilibrium point and computing basic reproduction number. This model has an endemic equilibrium point. If the basic reproduction number is more than one then an endemic equilibrium point is locally asymptotic stable or epidemic which means that it occurs in the population. The simulation result of the model are in good agreement with the model behavior analysis.

Abstract

On the standard n-normed space,i.e an inner product space equipped with the standard n-norm, one can derive a norm from the n-norm in a certain way. The purpose of this note is to establish the equivalence between such a norm and the usual norm on standard n-normed space. Further, this fact together with others use to prove a fixed point theorem on the standard n-normed space.
