Abstract

Abstract-Medium voltage network is one of the distribution ofelectricity from generators to the consumer. The voltage will beseparated to each feeder for its distribution. If the rate of consumerneeds is higher, PLN demanded to add new feeder. Electric powerdistribution requires reliability in maintaining the distributionequipment from fault, including short circuit. So, to minimize thefault, protection system that meets the requirements of sensitivity,reliability, selectivity and speed, which is all depends on theprecision in setting protection equipment One of the protectivedevices that used in medium voltage network is an over currentrelay (OCR) and ground fault relay(GFR). This research discussesevaluation between the OCR and GFR setting, at the J.3 in KarangJoang substation. The comparisonresult between calculation andattached data in Karang Joang substation almost same. Thecalculation from OCR setting in incoming side acquired TMS =0,1955. Meanwhile the OCR setting in outgoing side acquired TMS=0,1294. GFR setting in incoming side acquired TMS 0,2807.Meanwhile GFR setting in outgoing side acquired TMS = 0,1102.This result showed that attached setting in Karang Joang Substationstill considered in good condition.

Abstract

Abstract— The latest technological advances to minimize the cost of highly advanced, especially in the field of communication Such as on RFID, sensor network (WSN), NFC, wireless communication / wireless network, And other supporting applications. Wireless networks become one of the more convenient and practical communication path in maintenance both in industry and end users. In this research, an existing campus wireless network will be used for the transmission of electronic device control. Remote control and monitor of electronic devices in the campus wireless area becomes easier and convenient with android based application interface. Intisari— Kemajuan teknologi terbaru untuk meminimalkan biaya sangat maju pesat terutama dalam bidang komunikasi seperti pada RFID, jaringan sensor (WSN), NFC, komunikasi nirkabel/jaringan wireless, dan aplikasi pendukung lainnya. Jaringan wireless menjadi salah satu jalur komunikasi yang lebih praktis dan mudah dalam perawatan baik dalam dunia industri maupun end users. Dalam penelitian ini Jaringan wireless kampus yang sudah ada akan dimanfaatkan untuk transmisi pengontrolan perangkat elektronik. Abstract

Abstract-The charging system is part of the electricity in the machine, in the fuel refueling system for full load conditions as well as must. In doing the Overhoul Alternator must be ascertained the condition of the components such as Stator, Rotor and Diode Rectifier in good condition. A good Stator and Rotor have a 35 Ohm coil Resistance and a minimum resistance of 0.5 Mohm.. In performing Test Load Alternator, to get a good test results required data varying each 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the capacitance of each alternator. Test Load process using DURST TB-1900A. Varitive loading is seen from the large Alternator output current in which every Alternator load must have a stable output voltage of 27.5 Volts - 28.5 Volts.From test load Alternator results obtained that Alternator with capacity 35 A and 100 A in good condition while for Alternator with the capacity 60 A is not in good condition.

Abstract

Abstract— The wireless sensor network system is applied to themonitoring system of street light. There are several parameter thatmonitored such as electric current, voltage, GPS map coordinate,Lux, and status off on and of of the light. The node sensor thatcontain of Arduino Mega 2560, ACS712ELCTR-20A-T currentsensor, ZMPT101B voltage sensor, TSL2561 light sensor, GPSNEO6MV2 module, TFT display and SIM900A GSM module. GSMModule SIM900A is as a communication tool between sensor nodedevices with web monitoring application.The monitoring system of street light parameter status isdesign to sned the reading parameter data such as electrical current,voltage, Lux and GPS coordinate map and then send to the web database on the web server. The data that recorded on the web serverthan can be view through the web application without locationrestriction as long as internet connection is available. Theapplication also can control to turn on and off the light. Intisari— Jaringan sensor nirkabel yang diaplikasikan pada sistemmonitoring berupa parameter cahaya, arus listrik, tegangan listrik,peta koordinat dan indikasi status hidup dan mati lampu. Perangkatyang digunakan dalam sistem ini adalah titik sensor (sensor node)danaplikasi pengawasan dengan web (web monitoring). Rancangansensor node menggunakan perangkat berupa Arduino Mega 2560,sensor arus ACS712ELCTR-20A-T, sensor tegangan ZMPT101B,sensor cahaya TSL2561, modul GPSNEO 6MV2, TFT display danmodul GSM SIM900A. Modul GSM SIM900A digunakan sebagaialat komunikasi antara perangkat sensor node dengan aplikasi webmonitoring.Sistem monitoring status lampu penerangan jalan umum yangdirancang mampu melalukan pembacaan parameter arus listrik,tegangan listrik, intensitas cahaya (Lux), dan peta koordinat GPS.Data parameter yang dibaca selanjutnya dikirim ke dalam basis datadi web server melalui jaringan komunikasi GSM. Data yang telahdirekam di dalam web server tersebut dapat dilihat pada sebuahaplikasi web sehingga user dapat memonitor dengan mudah tanpabatasan lokasi selama terdapat koneksi internet. Aplikasi web yangdibangun juga dirancang mampu mengontrol hidup dan mati titiklampu yang dimonitor.

Abstract

Abstract— At this time many accidents in infants inincubators tube, which causes the baby has been overheated, skinburns baby until the baby died. This incident occurred because of thenegligence of the hospital employees and the absence of anotification or an application interface that tells that the temperatureon the tube incubator in bad condition.Therefore we need a device that can measure thetemperature and humidity data and transmit it whenever the observerwant to take the data and can store data in a form of a report (datareport) by utilizing the application interface.Based on that, the authors intend to create a tool to detectthe temperature and humidity in the incubator space under the titleMonitoring Temperature and humidity in the baby incubator space.This tool is used to detect the temperature and humidity in the babyincubator space, temperature and humidity sensors on the baby'sincubator space will also help the workforce (human) in carrying outits duties.

Abstract

The heart is one of the main organs in the human body. Normal human heart rate ranges between 60-100 beats per minute. One way to know a person's heart condition is by calculating the heart rate. To know the frequency of the heartbeat we can calculate the manual way that is by putting the tip of the index finger and middle finger on the base of the thumb on the wrist, knee fold, groin, or side of the throat. Calculate heart rate for 15 seconds and multiply this by 4 to determine the heart beats per minute. Design of this tool is expected to make easier the calculation of heart rate with accurate measurement accuracy and can detect heart conditions based on heart rate calculation results. Arduino Uno Atmega 328 and LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) based pulse meter use Pulse Sensor to detect heart rate. Heartbeat data will be processed by Arduino and the results are displayed on the LCD. This study aims to make easier the calculation of the pulse and detect heart conditions.The research held on April until June 2017 at Laboratorium Teknik Elektro Universitas Balikpapan. The study focused to design the heart pulse measurement. Once designed, the tool need to be tested each block of the tool and then whole tool. The result of the tool and the result by manual count got the average value of the difference or error amount 1,2%. Based on the average value of the difference or error can be concluded that the heart rate measuring tool that has been made to work with the exact measurement accuracy

Abstract

Electric power is an absolute thing that needed in service industry like catering because too many tools that needs electric power to move on. Electric power is not only gives benefit but also can danger and damage the human being. Therefore making electric instalation is have to do well in accordance with the procedure and the rules, until the electric instalation can be functioned save for human being and construction and economic value. Discuss about distribution and instalation system in PT. Aerofood ACS Balikpapan which needs continuous electric supply until all activities on the company are not disturbed. Distribution system in PT. Aerofood ACS Balikpapan is using radial system. Where the main source of electricity supplied by PLN and if at any time PLN dead then use the generator set as backup. From the analysis obtained, that in the stress system at PT. Aerofood ACS Balikpapan experienced a shrinkage of voltage, but the change of voltage shrinkage is still within the tolerance range allowed by PUIL 2000 ± 5 % so we can say that condition of drop voltage system are good. From the analysis, all the connected cabel in PT. Aerofood ACS Balikpapan are good and safe to use. But there are some of MCCB or MCB and grounding system which not suitable with PUIL. Totally distribution and installation system in Hotel Gran Mahakam, South Jakarta are not safe and good enough to use. However, for the system breaker power and grounding system some of which are not in accordance with PUIL 2000. So as a whole system of distribution and installation at PT. Aerofood ACS Balikpapan can not be said safe and good to use.
