Abstract

This final project was conducted during an internship at Terminal Petikemas Semarang which is a company in the field of packaging terminal services. This study aims to analyze the impact of tariff progressive policies on dwelling time and YOR. To achieve the target of dwelling time in less than 3 days and YOR under 50% a progressive tariff policy is set. . the implementation of progressive tariffs is expected to reduce dawling time and YOR, in all of container terminal to be able achieve target expected by the government and to obtain efficiency and smoothly flow of container. To compile this final project the author uses secondary data in the form of dwelling time and YOR data in 2016-2018.Data obtained then it was analyzed using pearson correlation to know the rapport between dwelling time and YOR then, data dwelling time and YOR will be graphed to find out before progressive tariff policies in analysis in order to get a solution to the problems that exist in order to facilitate the flow of containers in the container terminal. The results of data analysis found that the impact of progressive tariff policies not yetcan reduce dwelling time and YOR significantly and still very much the high of dwelling time and YOR at the Semarang Container Terminal after the progressive rate reached 63.51% and dwelling time 6.14 days then progressive tariffs will not affect dwelling time and YOR.

Abstract

This final task report aims to determine the model of the container queue at the diamond Terminal, as well as the graduation requirement of the Jakarta State University management course. From the calculation results of the system performance of the queue in the field of stacking the diamond terminal shows that the busiest month occurred in May with the number of containers arrival as much as 8199 boxes and the arrival of the most deserted containers occurred in the month June with a number of containers as much as 5332 boxes. The probability calculation results are not contained in the system queuing occurring in February and may by 0%. It shows the busyness of the RTG tool reaches 100% and the percentage of the most small bustle of the RTG tool in April and June by 20% showing the most lonely conditions in the queue system in the field of diamond buildup. The high level of arrival of containers in addition to the complexity of the diamond buildup field that eventually exceeded the capacity limit of the RTG tool thus giving rise to an imbalance between the arrival rate and the service level of the diamond terminal.

Abstract

Commercial buildings in the Bassura Mall area (Jalan Jenderal Basuki Rahmat) have resulted in congestion in the area. Vehicles use road bodies to park their vehicles, sidewalks that are used as trading places by street vendors, and the position of the entrance / exit of Bassura Mall for four-wheeled vehicles that is not strategic. These things have caused the author to choose a location in the Bassura Mall area (Jalan Jenderal Basuki Rahmat), East Jakarta which is a local route, where East Jakarta as one of the big cities in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta also experiences high vehicle growth, p. This can be seen on roads in East Jakarta which often experience congestion during rush hour. The purpose of this research is to determine the traffic performance in the area. The method used in this research is direct observation method at the research location and field data collection in the form of parking volume data, pedestrian volume, vehicle volume entering / exiting Mall Bassura, traffic volume, and road performance. Observations were made on weekdays and holidays. The results of the analysis of the performance of the road sections show that the traffic volume on the roads around Mall Bassura is 32,433 SMP / hour on weekdays and 22,577 SMP / hour on holidays, with the service level index being in the F category on weekdays and holidays. Thus, the congestion factors mentioned above have resulted in a decrease in road capacity which has an impact on road performance.

One of the passanger ports in DKI Jakarta that is expected to provide a high level of satisfaction is Muara Angke Passanger Port. This research technique uses survey methods for sampling data, analysis of the discussion using descriptive analysis, gap method by calculating the level of suitability and cartesius diagram. As a result, users of port services are still not maximal in providing services in ports such as there is no service to provide information on emergency health care facilities and there is no convenience service for health services aimed at anticipating healt emergencies, so that users of port service immediateky receive help first.

Abstract

asically, in a activity delivery, the consignee submits SP2 (Container Withdrawal Letter) at the gate, then if it is not in accordance with SP2, it is returned to the consignee, if appropriate, the carried out gate in transaction is, then the consignee can immediately receive the container according to the stacking location listed on SP2 This is intended so that the consignee can quickly dispense the container from the stacking field and the truck does not need to be lingering in the container terminal. The optimal time required for adequate service, fast service levels greatly affect the optimal Truck Round Time inactivities delivery. The faster the Round Time Truck, the more optimal process delivery and vice versa, from observations, the authors found a problem that one of the containers to be taken by the consignee was not in accordance with the location listed in SP2 because it had undergone a change in position that was not updated by field officers and high delivery and activities chunk of the ship. At the end of this paper, the authors conclude several dominant factors causing the length of time needed by the consignee to take the container, namely the lack of discipline of field officers to renew the latest container position, the height of Yard Occupancy Ratio (YOR) and concurrently the time of activities delivery with time off from the ship. In addition, the author also included a number of suggestions to the terminal on the factors that slowed activities delivery. It is expected that this suggestion can be useful for improvement of the conditions that already exist today.
