Abstract

The primary purpose of this article is to improve the quality of English learning process at MTs Muhammadiyah 10 Wukir by using Lolly-Pop Card media which is expected to make students more interested in learning English. In improving the quality of the learning process of English, the author also provides training in the making of learning media in the form of Lolly-pop Card. Participants who follow this English learning activity amounted to 6 people including formal educators. The results obtained after the training show that by using Lolly-pop Card media, the quality of English learning done by the teacher is better because it can improve the ability of learners in teaching activities and learners are more interested in learning English in the classroom. This is evidenced by the results of tests given after using Lolly-pop Card media. They are also more interested in learning to use Lollypop Card media so that the process of teaching and learning in the classroom is more active, fun, and not dull.

Abstract

This activity aims to analyse the problems & obstacles that occur in the learning process in the classroom. The subjects of this activity were several Math & English teachers in grades 4 and 6 of MI Citra Taman Siswa Menganti. In the implementation of this activity, the method used is a rubric (observation form). The results of the activity showed that there were several problems & obstacles in the learning process at MI Citra Taman Siswa including mastery of learning material, learning methods & lack of learning media covering 4 things: triggering question missed to stimulate students' curiosity, lack of explanation to understand concepts in Mathematics, lack of use of realia in mathematics learning & lack of use of media and learning resources in English classes.

Abstract

The study is using a qualitative strategy to describe the HR perspective towards the Role of Multinational Corporations (MNCs) in Thailand by using the pervious instrumental study review. Then, the data was classified into three parts: Part I: MNCs in developing countries; Part II: Overview the context of Thailand; Part III: Review the Role of MNCs in Thailand from the HR Perspective. As Thailand is a developing country which takes into account of globalization activities, hence, MNCs play an important role to enhance the level of economic growth. The developing countries must improve their infrastructure and skilled workers to be reach the competitive advantage among region and attractive to foreign direct investments. The result of the study showed the characteristics in social context in Thailand, how the beliefs of Thai society impact ethical behavior, attitude in business and implications of HR practices. Thai political context is identified the situation of replacement employees. The study describe that the qualification require has go to foreigners rather than Thai workers. Thai labor laws has identified the inequality of Social Security Circumstances between private sector, agricultural workers, and public employees. and the role of MNCs in Thailand from the HR perspective. It shows that HRD systems must be able to enhance and build a quality program to put people to work.

Abstract

In this Community Partnership Program activity, we have 2 Partners, namely Batik Tulis artisans in the smallindustrial Kampoeng Batik Jetis Village Sidoklumpuk Jetis urban Village Head Lemah Putro, Sub District Sidoarjo District Sidoarjo. They are the owner of SME Batik Amri Jaya and owner of SME Batik Namiroh, which turned out to have the same problems, such as 1). Field Production, related to the use of some equipment in the current batik process that is not ergonomic, and 2). Field of Management; a. Daily production administration management, b. The absence of a product catalogue typical Kampoeng Batik Jetis c. Sales of conventional products, d. Not optimal supervision of production. In the field of production, the solution offered is the innovation of some equipment in the process of batik by applying the concept of ergonomics; a. the desk of the pattern for imitating the model, b. Chair of a batik maker, c. Modified LPG stove and candle filter. While in the field of management, conduct training and assistance with the material a) The importance of comfort and health in work (the concept of ergonomics), b). Production of daily production reports, c). Manufacture of product design and catalogue, d). E-commerce Marketing, and e). Optimization of production supervision function, business management, and production efficiency. Community Partnership Program activities are implemented so that all parties benefit as expected, among others: increased knowledge and insight of batik maker, sales turn over, the realization of effective and efficient management, which ultimately can increase the productivity, competitiveness, and independence of partners so as tocontribute to the welfare of people in the area.

Abstract

Changes that occur at this time, especially in real business both as individuals and organisations, none of them has not changed. These changes certainly must be positively addressed as an affirmation of following and increasing capabilities so as not to be crushed by these changes. Training with the elaboration of strengthening soft skills and computerisation is carried out as one of the answers to these changes, especially in improving the ability of technology-based entrepreneurship. Specific goals and targets to be achieved Entrepreneurial training through the elaboration of strengthening soft skills and computerisation are; a). Equipping participants especially youth members to have the right understanding in achieving success; b) Providing ability to make long-term planning; c) Provide motivations for success; and d) Providing ability with the use of technology in entrepreneurship. The method used for this achievement is a semi workshop wherein the initial stage of the activity is the provision of material related to the achievement of the first, second and third goals while for the computer workshop as the achievement of the fourth goal. The activity is carried out for two days with a duration of 16 hours face to face or every day. The implementation of these activities was carried out by the Karangtaruna team while from the Muhammadiyah University Gresik team as facilitators. This activity is also expected to provide material that is following the needs of youth members as partners in the present and future in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Geographically, Soko Village is in Glagah District of Lamongan Regency. Regency of Morocalan in the north, Gempol Pendowo in the east, Punan Village in the south, Blawi Village in the west. In general, the livelihoods of Soko villagers are identified in several sectors, fishers, traders, civil servants, employees and others. Most of the work of the residents is fish seed entrepreneurs. One of the factors that influence fish growth is irrigation. Watering is one of the things that affect the growth of fish, but the ponds in the village of Soko filled with water hyacinth that can inhibit the growth of fish. If this is not addressed, then it will have a fatal impact on the growth of the fish itself. The results of the work program held by the Industrial Engineering program group 4 by executing the manufacture of water hyacinth briquettes can help reduce the water hyacinth waste in the pond. Moreover, also the village government should be able to conduct an in-depth review to provide progress and mutual benefit for both the community and government.

Abstract

The amount of small and medium enterprises (SME) in Gresik Regency continues to increase; this makes the Regional Government of Gresik Regency through the Department of Cooperatives, SME, Industry and Trade have difficulties in conducting coaching as a whole. Society Partnership Program Team intends to help the Department of Cooperatives, SME, Industry and Trade Gresik Regency in conducting coaching through training to SME otak-otak of milkfish. The purpose of Society Partnership Program activity to help SME otak-otak of milkfish in solving the problems faced, such as: not knowing how to make the right financial report and do not have the media marketing online (e-commerce). Coaching activities through training to SME otak-otak of milkfish cover several activities, namely: 1) presentation of financial and e-commerce report, 2) practice of making the correct financial report, 3) practice of operating e-commerce. From the results of the implementation of Society Partnership Program activities, such as : 1) Improve the ability and knowledge in making financial statements used to find out income received, production costs incurred, and as one of the requirements in the filing of credit, 2) Improve skills in online marketing through e-commerce used to market products that have unlimited access and efficient.

Abstract

This activity program aims to increase the efficiency of marketing business management SMEs batik Tulis in Sidoklumpuk village, Jetis Lemahputro, Sidoarjo District. The targets to be achieved for this program, include: 1) creating online commercial sales system to expand access marketing batik product to foreign countries, as well as providing convenience for customers as well as SMEs in conducting business transactions. 2) Creating logo design for the product packaging common local wisdom of kampong batik Jetis to strengthen the brand. So that SMEs are expected to develop into business to meet customer demand and survive in a competitive business climate. The utilization of e-commerce web for SMEs batik around Jetis. Jetis Batik can be a characteristic of great micro business in Jetis Village. The local government is expected to provide support for the success of the SMEs independently initiated programs collectively.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the role of language that is very important in the development of science and technology, especially English which is one of the foreign languages that are widely used in every aspect of life such as science, education, culture, business, and entertainment. The author looks at the reality of the lack of mastery of English in the educational environment, especially in the ability to speak. This study aims to describe changes in behaviour after learning English using online video learning media. The theoretical benefit of this research is for the development of science and as a provision for teachers so that it can overcome the problems that occur to students in order to improve the quality of education better. Practical benefits of this research are expected to provide input for English teachers in choosing media as an alternative to improve the quality of learning English and can provide input to teachers in the use of online learning video media for learning English (the ability to speak). The method used in this study is a research method of classroom action with two cycles carried out on the teacher discuss a UK and students of class X SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection is carried out by testing and non-test. Data analysis is carried out with quantitative and qualitative techniques. Quantitative data analysis is obtained by calculating the overall student value and recapping the test scores, then calculating the average value obtained. The expected results of this study can be concluded that learning by using online video learning media can improve students' speaking ability and can change student behaviour towards positive.
