Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of google meet in online lectures for PGSD students in the Basic Concept of Civics at SD during the COVID-19 pandemic. The subjects of this study were 89 students of PGSD class A and B. This type of research used in this research is descriptive research. Where this research describes the application of google meet in lectures. The method used is a qualitative method which is also called an artistic method, because the research process is more artistic (less patterned) and is also called an interpretive method because the research data is more concerned with the interpretation of the data found in the field. The research data shows that the google meet application in online learning for PGSD students states that it is very easy to access, namely 70 students, while only 2 students experience difficulties. Understanding the material in online lectures using google meet, 25 students stated that they strongly agreed that the material could be understood well. The effectiveness of using the google meet application in online learning 11 students stated that it was very effective while 32 students stated that they did not agree with the effectiveness of learning. Students do not understand the material because sometimes the signal breaks due to cloudy weather or rain. This means that the lecturer provides a solution by always sending the lecture material dictates before the online lecture activity on the WhatsApp group, so that all students can attend lectures without being left behind due to signal constraints. Evaluation of the use of google meet in online lectures after going through 6 meetings, students wishing they could learn using the offline method. According to students, it is easier to understand lecture material if it is done face-to-face without going through the online.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the productivity of elementary school teachers, especially UMG PGSD alumni in terms of writing scientific papers. As a young teacher, the enthusiasm for innovation should be motivated and facilitated so that young teachers who have entered the field, increasingly increasing their productivity and creativity. In order to become a teacher, it is not just about teaching material, but also research missions and innovators. In accommodating creativity and channeling the results of research in the form of scientific work, we from the PGSD undergraduate lecturer team are devoted to young teachers so that the research they have done is published. This community service activity is in the form of training in writing scientific papers in the form of scientific articles to publishing (publishing) scientific articles through online journals. The series of activities include, 1) Preparation, by preparing good KTI materials, 2) writing, by starting to write, guiding participants to learn and understand KTI, 3) Editing, by improving grammar, material substance and others, 4) Publications, KTI that has been revised is published in scientific journals, 5) the monitoring and evaluation stage, which is the stage for describing the revised KTI results to peers. The target outputs to be achieved are 1) Scientific Papers that have been compiled and revised are uploaded in online and print journals, at least national journals, 2) Add insight for teachers about national journals, 3) teach teachers to be more skilled in preparing scientific papers. The results of this activity are in the form of consultation articles, for teachers who already have a research article and feed back in the form of responses via Instagram with PGSD hashtag (#pgsdumg). The three teachers are Amelia Razanah from SDN Tlogopatut, Ika Lufianah from SDN Randuagung 2 and Fatma hajar Islamiyah from GKB HR 2. The articles owned will be published in journals managed by PGSD study programs namely JTIEE at a volume that will be determined by the journal manager. The expectation of the participants was that this kind of training was carried out routinely every semester in order to support the productivity and acquisition of functional teacher positions for career advancement.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to increase interest and achievement in mathematics learning of class X AKL 2 SMK Negeri 2 Pacitan after participating in online learning with the Problem Based Learning model. This classroom action research was conducted in 3 cycles, each of which consisted of one meeting. Each cycle consists of four steps, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of students' interest in learning scores in the pre-cycle was 68% with low qualifications, increased in cycle I by 77% with high qualifications, cycle II by 81% with high qualifications, and cycle III by 83% with high qualifications. Meanwhile, the learning achievement of students showed an average pre-cycle score of 64 with the percentage of students completing learning by 32%, increasing in cycle I by 79 with the percentage of students completing learning by 71%, cycle II of 79 with the percentage of students completing learning by 81%, and cycle III was 81 with the percentage of students completing learning by 90%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the indicators of success of this study are fulfilled and the application of the Problem Based Learning model in online learning can increase students' interest and learning achievement.
