Abstract

This study aims to determine the movement of the composite stock price index influenced by interest rates and the exchange rate of the rupiah. The method used is a quantitative method, with descriptive statistics, with population data index, interest rates, and exchange rates for the period January 2015 - December 2017, with smapling saturated. by using secondary data, the analysis technique used is the prerequisite test analysis, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the partial t test analysis of interest rates shows tcount> t table (7.663 <1.693) means that interest rates have a significant effect on the CSPI, and for the exchange rate obtained tcount> t table (4,819> 1,639) means that the exchange rate has a significant effect on the CSPI, and based on f test simultaneously obtained the value of the results of fcount and ftabel, that fcount = 48.021> ftabel = 3.30 there is a significant influence between interest rates and exchange rates on the composite stock price index (CSPI), with a strong correlation coefficient. The conclusion is that interest rates and exchange rates have a significant negative effect on the composite stock price index (CSPI).

Abstract

PT. Alphacon Valfindo is a company engaged in manufacturing valve in Indonesia. For the production process, PT. Alphacon Valfindo requires raw materials for casting (the product). The most widely used raw material is Scrap. There are several problems in the control of scrap raw material inventory, among which is the purchase of raw materials with the amount that exceeds the needs of production. This leads to the accumulation of raw materials, thus causing storage costs to be free. To control the cost of inventory, this research uses Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to compare the average cost of inventory more optimally with the actual inventory cost of the company. This type of research used in this research is quantitative research using a descriptive approach. The population of this research is PT. Alphacon Valfindo in the period January 2016 to December 2016, with the sample used in this study is the data of steel scrap inventory costs of PT. Alphacon Valfindo in the period January 2016 to December 2016. The tool / instrument used is finding the optimal order for one order using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, and comparing the company's total actual inventory costs with the cost of inventory using the EOQ method.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of operating leverage and financial leverage on return on equity on property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used is a quantitative method with a population of all Property and Real Estate companies, a sample of 6 companies. Data analysis techniques in this study multiple linear regression analysis, determination coefficient, t test and F test in SPSS 20 For Windows. The results of the study based on the F test show that Operating Leverage and Financial Leverage simultaneously have a significant effect on Return On Equity, this is evidenced by a significance level smaller than 0.05, namely 0.043. Based on the results of the t test it is known that Financial Leverage does not partially affect Return On Equity, this is evidenced by a significance level greater than 0.05, namely 0.553. Based on the results of the t test also known that the Operating Leverage partially has a significant positive effect on Return On Equity, this is evidenced by a significance level smaller than 0.05, namely 0.018. The results of the analysis show that the adjusted coefficient of determination (Adjusted R square) is 0.149 or 14.9%.

Whereas the questionnaires were 337 male/female students of 6/3 high school Daar el-Qolam Islamic Boarding School, a sample of 91 people and as many as 28 from goods suppliers were taken using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique using the Yamane Rakhmad formula which states that if population of more than 100, the sample taken is 10% or more. Data retrieval techniques used method of documentation/questionnaire (questionnaire) to determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction. This research method is a quantitative method. Data analysis using Multiple Regression Analysis.Correlation calculation results show a very strong relationship where service quality (Variable X1) and customer satisfaction (Variable X2) is related to service loyalty (Variable Y). The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination show that service quality and customer satisfaction will increase service loyalty. And the results obtained from this study can be concluded that service quality and customer satisfaction have a significant positive effect on service loyalty of MMI (Kagumi) Teacher Cooperative Daar el-Qolam Islamic Boarding School, Gintung Jayanti Tangerang.

Abstract

Purpose-This study seeks to draw on the theories of personality to investigate antecedents and outcomes of consumer coping in instances of service failure. Specifically, the authors focus on the effects of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy on three coping strategies – active, expressive, and denial. The authors further investigate the effects of coping strategies on consumer intention to complainDesign/methodology/approach – An online panel of 51 respondents representative of the Australian population participated in this study. Structural equation modelling was used to analyze data and test hypothesized relationships.Findings – Emotional intelligence has a positive association with active and expressive coping strategies but a negative relationship with denial. Expressive coping leads to greater complaining, whereas denial decreases it. Furthermore, consumer self-efficacy mediates the relationship between emotional intelligence and Active Coping strategy. In contrast, the effect of self-efficacy on expressive strategy is negative.Research limitations/implications – This study is the first step in investigating relationships between consumer emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and coping. The authors also investigate which coping strategies facilitate or hinder consumers’ decisions to complain. Future research should extend the model to incorporate service provider responses to gain a better understanding of the customer coping process in service failures.Originality/value – The paper contributes to the theory of consumer coping by bridging the current research gap and focusing on antecedents and outcomes of coping. This study advances knowledge of consumer coping by examining consumer emotional intelligence and self-efficacy as antecedents of coping strategies. Complaining behaviour is examined as an extension of coping strategies.

In this study the method used is a quantitative method with a description approach. Data analysis techniques used are the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis techniques, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, hypothesis testing, and also use the help of the SPSS V20 program for windows. The population in this study is the Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesian Edek Exchange in the period 2013-2017. There are 18 population of companies and the sample in this study obtained as many as 6 companies, the sampling method is purposive sampling.
