Abstract

Education is an important thing that supports the progress of a country. Because with quality education will produce quality individuals, who are able to compete with other countries and be able to face the flow of globalization. Then we need to support and participate in advancing education. The quality of education will be satisfactory if managed well. To achieve good education there is a need for good management, especially in the curriculum. Curriculum management is a regulatory activity that includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating so that the education program can run well and in accordance with the expected goals. By implementing good curriculum management, these educational institutions will produce quality graduates.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) to know the use of torso media on science subjects in SDN Cikahuripan, (2) to know the result of student learning on science subjects by using torso media in Public Elementary School Cikahuripan, and (3) to knoware there any influence by using torso media on science subject in Public Elementary School Cikahuripan. This research used Pre-experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The population in this research are all students of Public Elementary School Cikahuripan which amounted to 364 students. In sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The samples of this study was taken from two classes, those are VA class as a experiment class totally as many as 32 students and VB class as an control class totally 28 students, so all the samples that as many 60 students. Mastery of matter about the human digestive system is measured using multiple choice tests. The test is given on pretest and final test (posttest). Before the test is given, the test instrument has first been analyzed the validity, reliability, problem level and the differentiation of the problem. Analysis of hypothesis testing of data in this study using Independent Samples T-Test that had previously been tested normality and homogeneity. The results of this study indicates that (1) The use of torso media in science learning subjects of human digestive system in Public Elementary School Cikahuripan is good. (2) After the data result from prelimiary and final test were analyze, there is obtained the average pretest result in experimental class as 62.81 and posttest as 85.78, so from the average of pretest and posttest there is an increase of 37%. As well as the average pretest control class are about 60.18 and posttest about 79.64 so the average pretest and posttest increase is about 33%. Those are reinforced by the average difference test (t-test) which is obtained > is 3.031> 1672 and the significant point below 0.05 that is 0.04 <0.05. Based on N-Gain test, that has been obtained the value of N-Gain from experiment class as 0.71 as a high criteria and for control class with amount of 0.49 with medium criteria. (3) based on these results show that received and rejected. So it can be concluded that there has an influence in using torso media to student result study science subjects in Public Elementary School Cikahuripan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence of learning independence on student learning outcomes of The 4thgrade students SDN 6 Dawuhan academic year 2017/2018. This research is a quantitative research, The method used is comprative. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is influence of learning independence on student learning outcomes of The 4thgrade students SDN 6 Dawuhan academic year 2017/2018?. The population in this study were students at SDN 6 Dawuhan. This research use purpusive sampling technique, with sample number 30 responden (all student of class 4th). This research consist of independent variable and dependent variable, independent variable that is learning independence (X), and dependent variable that is learning outcomes (Y). Data collection technique used in this study is using questionnaires and documentation (student learning outcomes). The results showed that the influence of learning independence on student learning outcomes of class 4th is in the category of influence is it can be in known from the correlation coefficient of R = 0,507, and to know whether the hypothesis submitted accepted / rejected, then T count compared with T table with significant level of 0,005 with the number of respondents 30 obtaided T table = 2,048 whereas T count = 3,117, means T count 3,117 > T table 2,048 so (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) accepted. Based on the results of the study, then this study, concluded (Ho) rejected and (Ha) accepted, that there is Influence Of Learning Independence On Student Learning Outcomes Of The 4thGrade Students SDN 6 Dawuhan Academic Year 2017/2018.

Abstract

In this artcle, i discuss about the ability of creative thinking in mathematics, including (1) what is meant by the ablity of creative thinking in mathematics, (2) why the ability to think creatively in mathematics is important and what is the reason, (3) how the ability of creative thinking in mathematics applied in the process of learning mathematics so that the ability of creative thinking in mathematics can be owned by students, (4) what mathematical material is suitable for generating students’ ability of creative thinking in mathematics. The method used in this article is discourse analysis, from some articles in various national and international journals. The discussion is presented in the form of description based on the data that is written in the articles. Based on the data presented in these articles, that to create and develop the ability of creative thinking in mathematics, teachers should be able to choose and apply appropriate models and media in the process of learning mathematics, learning process with discussion based model and problem solving.

Abstract

This research is based on findings in the field, namely students' low interest in reading, no initiative to read books, less reading activities, and less supportive library facilities. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to increase the reading interest of students who use quantum reading methods and conventional methods in Indonesian language subjects at Pakemitan 2 Public Elementary School. This study aims to determine the increase in reading interest of students who use quantum reading methods and conventional methods in Indonesian language subjects at Pakemitan 2 Public Elementary School. The research method used is the experimental method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design form. The population used was 165 students, and two sample classes were class IV as a control class totaling 28 students and class V as an experimental class totaling 35 students. Research data was collected through questionnaires with statistical analysis. Analysis of the data used is normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 24.0 for windows. The results of the analysis of variable X, it is known that the control class pre-test value obtained an average value of 53.92 is in the low classification, and the experimental class pre-test value obtained an average value of 55.94 is in the low classification. As for the value of the post-test control class obtained an average value of 58.46 in the low category, this shows the implementation of the conventional method has not been successful, and the post-test value of the experimental class obtained an average value of 67.34 in the category quite effective, this shows the implementation of the quantum reading method is quite successful. The results of the variable analysis Y, it is known that the control class pre-test value obtained an average value of 55.07 is in the low classification, and the experimental class pre-test value obtained an average value of 55.57 is in the low classification. As for the value of the post-test control class obtained an average value of 60.03 in the low category, this shows the implementation of the conventional method has not been successful, and the post-test value of the experimental class obtained an average value of 68 in the category quite effective, this shows the implementation of the quantum reading method is quite successful, then Hₒ is rejected or Hₐ is accepted. That is, the use of the quantum reading method can increase the reading interest of elementary school students in Indonesian subjects.
