Abstract

Based on the interview result that is done by researcher with Economic teacher of VIII-A Class at State Junior High School 1 Asembagus, researcher finds that“learning model that applied in Economic school subject in market material was conventional learning model,which are lecture, discussion, and assignment. The interview was related to the implementation of conventional learning model, he said that conventional learning model was appropriated to apply inclass who has big students and make teacher easily to dominate class.So, it’s needed to update the implementation of learning model to increase the learning quality. The objective of this study was to describe the implementation of Snowball Throwing learning model in increase student’s learning activity and learning result on Economic subject with market material on Class VIII-A State Junior High School 1 Asembagus. This study was classroom action research. This study will be held in two cycles, and each cycle consists of four phases, which are planning, action, observation, and reflection. And the data collecting technique which used in this study were interview, documentation, observation, and test. The implementation of Snowball Throwing learning model can increase student’s learning activity from percentage degree 68% on the first cycle to the 86% on the second cycle. In the other hand, the implementation of Snowball Throwing learning model can increase student’s learning outcomes from classical mastery degree 69% on the first cycle to the 96% on the second cycle. It can be concluded that the implementation of Snowball Throwing learning model can increase student’s learning activity and learning outcomes on Economic subject with market material on Class VIII-A State Junior High School 1 Asembagus.

Abstract

one factor which affected low learning outcomes was the effectiveness of learning method which implemented in the teaching and learning process. By applying open ended problem learning method, students were ordered to discover their own knowledge through the togetherness learning process with their feiends on their group which guided by teachers. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of open ended problem learning method to increase student’s learning activitiy and learning outcomes. This study was classroom action research, which was held at State Junior High Boarding School 2 Botolinggo. This study was focused to the students of Grade VIII-B as many as 30 students. Learning outcomes data on pre-cycle showed that from 30 students, there were 9 students who can’t reach the minimum mastery criteria, and 21 other students were passed minimum mastery criteria with classical mastery percentage degree 70%. This low learning outcome was caused by student’s passive activity in learning process. On the other hand, based on observation result, student’s learning activity was on “active” category. The increase of student’s learning outcome on the second cycle reached 86,67%. There were 4 students who can’t reach the minimum mastery criteria and the other students have been reached the minimum mastery criteria. By achieving the classical mastery, this study will not continue to the next cycle, or this study will be stopped.

Abstract

Applied learning models generate less teacher student learning outcomes is the use of leaning methored while following learning activies. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcome through yhe application of generative learning model in social in cocial studies with basic competencies describe the physical condition, region. Indonesia’s population in order to improve student learning outcomes on Class VIII-C State Junior High School 1 Mangaran. The object of this research wasstudents of Class VIII-C as many as 31 students. The design of this study used four phases, planning, action, observation and reflection. To obtain the data, this study usedobservation, interviews and tests. The results which obtained in this study showed an increase in student learning outcomes. At the level of achievement of pre-cycle mastery clasic obtained by 77%, with the act of learning in the first cycle occurred an increase learning outcomes by 7% with classical mastery percentage of 84%, 26 students who completed and 5 studets are still not finished. While improving learning outcomes cecond cycle of 3% and mastery learning students in the classical is 87% which is the number of students who comleted study as many as 27 students and 4 students not yet complete. Thus the application of generative learning model can improve student’s learning outcomes in the Class VIII-C State Junior High School 1 Mangaran.

Abstract

Low student learning activities that have an impact on learning outcomes is a teacher's problem that must be addressed immediately. According to Sudjana (in Djamali, 2001: 123), "in the learning process the essence is student activity. Lesson learned activities are learned by the teaching approach used by the teacher. Therefore, the teacher in an effort to stimulate student learning activities must be able to create a conducive classroom atmosphere. Teachers must always give students enough things to think about and do. One of them is by taking a learning approach that is able to move students to carry out learning activities in the social studies learning process, namely by implementing learning using the SAVI approach. In cycle 1 the indicators involving physical activity of students have a high category, because it reaches a score of 3.3 while in student activities it has a category Also high, namely 3.08 on this indicator, all students who simulated simulations or played roles related to 36 students. Then the average in cycle 1 is 3.03. This is because students in this study are still in the stage of self-determination so that when the teacher teaches there are still many students who talk to friends. The analysis that was carried out on the results of daily tests showed that classical completeness had not been reached from 85% so that it was necessary to hold a second cycle. The results of daily tests after learning using the SAVI approach showed that students could not understand the material. This can be seen from the classical completeness which was achieved by 75% and of the 36 students there were 7 students who had not completed individually, the results of the analysis from the test cycle I. While in cycle 2 the average of all indicators reached 3.9 this was categorized as very high. There was an increase of 0.87 from cycle I this was due to the students being able to adjust. The student learning outcomes in cycle II have increased from the previous cycle. Analysis of daily repetitions in cycle II. These results have increased from the cycle I can be seen from the results of the average value. The average on cycle I was 73.61 and cycle II was 84.03. Meanwhile, classical learning completeness in the first cycle only reached 75%, in the second cycle it had reached the classical completeness standard applied by the school which reached 84.03%. Based on the results of the research it can be shown that the application of the SAVI approach can increase student activity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study adapted the Hopkins scheme model with 4 phases, planning, action, observation and reflection. To obtain data in this research, researcher used observation, interview and tes. Student’s learning activity observation result show the good enough improvement of this matter is visible from observation result which student activity executed at cycle I that is equal to 72,73% with the good criterion, and atobservation execution of at cycle of II being active student be promoted n very good that is equal to 92,42 %. This matter also prove that with the applying of Strategy of Study of Index of Card Match ( Searching Couple) is very good applied at student of class VII specially lesson IPS, At execution of cycle I followed by 22 student. Daily restating of cycle I show complete learn the student reach 72,73% Conclusion obtained by its result at execution of cycle I not yet succeeded hence research continued at cycle 11. Result of daily restating analysis at cycle 11 obtained complete of klasikal of equal to 86,36 % with the student efficacy of at daily restating indicate that the study with the Strategy of Study of Index of Card Match succeeding and have earned to bring the student ofresult learn which progressively mount and also shown complete learn individually with the average value > 70 and by klasikal > 80 % ketercapaian. Pursuant to research result and analyse the solution which have been conducted, inferential hence that with the applying of Strategy of Study of Index of Card Match activity and result of learning student of elementary subject IPS interest of economic activity of Anomalous class VII SMP Sunan Ampel Sodung Sukorejo Situbondo on 2014/2015 academic year is be promoted.

Abstract

This study was conducted to enhance student’s learning activity and their learning outcome on Social Science Subject with Basic Competency Identifying market from economic activities by using cooperative learning model Quiz Team. Learning process on social science subject still implement conventional model, such as lecture. The lecture method was more focused to the teacher, while students as listeners, and teacher oftens assign students to write or memorize the material. As a result, we often hear that social science learning was bored andsaturated, even students to be passive in any learning-process, which ultimately did not reach the minimum learning mastery criteria 75. In order social science learning process becomes more meaningful, then the teacher must be able to choose model, method, and learning strategies which suitable with the materials. This study will implement cooperative learning model Quiz Team in social science subject on class VIII-C. This study was classroom action research with Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, which conducted in two cycles. This action was accompanied by research instrument, that is observation, interviews and tests. This study was conducted in class VIII-C State Junior High School 1 Jangkar as many as 25 students. These results indicate an increase in learning activity and learning outcomes in social science subject after the implementation of Quiz Team learning model. The percentage of student’s learning activity on the first cycle was 78.25%, and student’s learning outcome reached 76%, while the percentage learning activity on the second cycle was increased to 91.25% with “very active” criteria, and learning outcomes was equal to 92. Based on student’s learning activity and learning outcomes which obtained on cycle I and II, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model Quiz Team in class VIII-C can be used as one of alternative methods that can be used to improve student’s learning activity and their learning outcomes.
