Abstract

There is a requirement for an elective wellspring of inexhaustible and earth feasible electrical vitality because of expanded power use and an unnatural weather change issues the world over. With the accumulation of dust and the surface temperature of cells or sun-based boards increase, their productivity drops significantly. Cooling and cleaning by using water can be utilized. Proteus and MikroC software have been used to simulate the model and write the code. In this paper, is design and an experimental study shrewd customized cleaning and cooling system for photo-voltaic (PV) modules installed in Ramadi, Iraq. Which is started dependent on low essentialness coming about due to dust accumulating and high temperature conditions. This was attempted by presenting two indistinct photovoltaic modules close to one another. The fundamental unit was equipped with a model of the cleaning structure while the resulting unit was seen as standard. An upgraded cleaning and cooling methodology are gotten with the data acquiring structure. An expansion in vitality profitability of 12.4% was acquired because of lessening the operational aggravations of residue amassing and warming of the board surface. The automatic cleaning mechanism used in the system reduces human stress by washing the PV panel with low energy use.

Abstract

The use of the fingerprint recognition has been and remains very important in many security applications and licensing systems. Fingerprint recognition is required in many areas such as licensing access to networks, corporate computers and organizations. In this paper, the system of fingerprint recognition that can be used in several cases of fingerprint such as being rounded at an angle by a randomly inked fingerprint on paper. So, fingerprint image is tooked at a different angle in order to identify the owner of the ink fingerprint. This method involves two working levels. The first one, the fingerprint pattern's shape features are calculated based on the central moments of each image being listed on a regular basis with three states rotation. Each image is rotated at a specified angle. In the second level, the fingerprint holder entered is identified using the previously extracted shape features and compared to the three local databases content of three rotation states. When applied the method for several persons by taken their inked fingerprint on the paper, the accuracy of the system in identifying the owner of the fingerprint after rotation states were close to 83.71.

Abstract

The importance of mobile learning (M-learning) has increased during the outbreak of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Level of English foreign language (EFL) teachers to use the technology should be assessed to understand the perception and readiness of EFL teachers to use M-learning. Building on existing literature, this study proposed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating condition will affect positively the readiness to use M-learning. The study also proposed attitude as a mediator and technology self-efficacy as a moderator. The data was collected from 163 EFL teachers in Iraq. The findings showed that facilitating condition, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence affected positively the readiness to use M-learning. Attitude fully mediated the effect of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence on readiness to use M-learning. Technology self-efficacy did not moderate the effect of the variables but it has a significant direct effect on readiness to use M-learning. Decision makers are recommended to enhance the infrastructure and to initiate training courses to enhance the information technology knowledge of the EFL teachers.

Abstract

This paper proposes a linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) to replace the conventional serving that is used in food and beverage (F&B) applications such as a pack of sushi and carbonated drinks. This conventional method is no longer practical as it requires a lot of space which will affect costing and productivity. It’s also has another disadvantage, in which it needs frequent maintenance of the rotational motor, gear, and limit switches. Therefore, this research is about the design and analysis of linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) for F&B applications. The main objective is to design a LSRM and the finite element method (FEM) is used to simulate the result. The result showed that the 24s/16p was the best model for linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) design. The model had average force (F_avg) of 28.36 N for input current (I) of 1A. To conclude, this paperprovides a guideline in designing the LSRM for F&B application.

Abstract

The spectrum efficiency and massive connections are joint designed in new form of device-to-device for user grouping. A pair of users is implemented with nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) systems. Although NOMA benefits to such system in term of the serving users, device to device (D2D) faces the interference from normal cellular users (CUE). In particular, we derive exact formulas of outage probability to show system performance. In this article, we compare two schemes to find relevant scheme to implement in practice. The frame structure is designed with two timeslot related to uplink and downlink between the base station and D2D users. We confirm the better scheme in numerical result by considering the impacts of many parameters on outage performance.

Abstract

The article describes a control logic used to automate the mixing stage of the instant mashed potato process, in order to improve the quality of the final product. Thus, initially the characteristics of the automated process are detailed, specifying the programming logic on the programmable logic controller, to later demonstrate through a data collection process the percentage of improvement in the quality of the final product from the perspective of the users. Indicators: percentage of humidity in the mixing stage, water absorption index (IAA), water solubility index (ISA) and hydrogen potential (pH). The development of the research concludes that the automation of the process, achieved that the IAA index and the ISA index, obtained in the spraying stage, improve by 8.13% and 23.05%, respectively, finding analyzed values within the optimal ranges. This in turn reflected a 39.61% improvement with respect to the humidity percentage, measured in the mixing stage, thus improving the quality of the final product, which brings with it a significant increase of 84.44% in production levels.
