The integration level in today’s world is continuously increasing in VLSI chips. VLSI circuit verification is a major challenge in these days. Integration capacity of VLSI circuits mimics the testing complexity of circuits. There is a significant chunk of the testing cost with respect to the whole fabrication prices. Hence it is important to cut down the verification cost. Time required during testing is a main factor for the cost of a chip. This time is directly proportional to the number of testing in the circuitry. So the test set should be very small. There is one way to generate a small test set is to compact a large test set parameters. The main drawback of the compaction results on the quality of the original test set. This aspect of compaction has motivated the work present here with some methods of fault detection and avoidance techniques via redundancy logic as Time redundancy and physical redundancy.

Our paper aim is to design a reprogrammable smart payment card that replaces all other cards in the wallet assembled using an ultra-low power e-paper display, Bluetooth Communication, capacitive touch sensor and NFC. The controllers used in this project based on ARM Cortex-M architecture. The main advantage of this paper is the card will be in constant communication with the smartphone. In case if the connection was lost, after a certain time interval the card interprets it as lost or stolen and will automatically disable itself. The user can re-enable the card only by entering the authentication password on the card and from the smartphone app.

Sentiment analysis is directed at identifying people's opinions, beliefs, views and emotions in the context of the entities and attributes that appear in text. The presence of sarcasm, however, can significantly hamper sentiment analysis. In this paper a sentiment classification framework is presented that incorporates sarcasm detection. The framework was evaluated using a non-linear Support Vector Machine and Malay social media data. The results obtained demonstrated that the proposed sarcasm detection process could successfully detect the presence of sarcasm in that better sentiment classification performance was recorded. A best average F-measure score of 0.905 was recorded using the framework; a significantly better result than when sentiment classification was performed without sarcasm detection.

The main objective of this research work is to develop a simple power systems steady state stability estimator in LabView for three phase power system network. LabVIEW based power systems stability estimator has been chosen as the main platform because it is a user friendly and easy to apply in power systems. This research work is intended to simultaneously acclimate the power system engineers with the utilization of LabVIEW with electrical power systems. This proposed work will discuss about the configuration and the improvement of the intelligent instructional VI (virtual instrument) modules in power systems for power systems stability solutions. In the proposed model power systems stability has been carried out and model has been developed such that it can accommodate the latest versions of power systems stability algorithms.

The noise introduced in the channel obviously affects the bit error rate of the communication system and this has direct impact in the security. Here the main problem is that the receiver terminal decoding techniques can lead to wrong interpretation even if the Bit Error Rate (BER) is acceptable. So the main idea here is to introduce high values of Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) that can improve the bit error rate which exists due to the noise introduced in the wireless channel.

The electricity generation cost is escalating every year while the electric energy is indispensable and increasing in demand. The resources for energy generation is also depleting due to the increasing demand of power. Thus, a system that can reduce the energy wastage and the massive expenses is essential. Street light system is one of the systems that can reduce energy consumption. The massive energy consumption from the current street light system is not efficient enough to reduce the wasted energy. By implementing an IOT-based smart street light system, the power consumption of the street light will be optimized. This system will also provide the ability to monitor input voltage for Arduino MEGA 2560 microcontroller and control the street light through IOT. The concept of this smart system is to introduce an intelligent system which can decide to switch on or off the street light according to the movement detection by using an infrared sensor module. The data will be sent to Arduino Mega 2560, which is a microcontroller that will decide to turn on or off the street light. The Wi-Fi module ESP-01 is implemented to enable the microcontroller to connect to Blynk software for monitoring and controlling purpose. The result shows that the smart street light system is expected to reduce energy consumption up to 45.48% on weekdays and 32.22% on weekends from the present street light system which uses timer system. The IOT-based Smart Street Light system also shows the condition of the street light system based on the Blynk interfaces for maintenance purpose.

This paper presents a basic approach to reduce an overall weight of selected PM motor. The approach is not based on normal sizing step by keeping the overall design in symmetry dimension, but by introducing semi-circle stator design. The investigation takes 12-slot/10-pole motor as a subject due to it symmetric winding disposition. Two designs are included, both having identical semi-circle stator but different in rotor configuration. Design 1 has a standard rotor design that equipped with 10-pole while Design 2 has a semi-circle rotor design following the stator design. This inherently result an even number of pole i.e. 5. From the investigation using 2D-Finite Element Analysis, an overall weight in PM motor can be theoretically reduced by having asymmetric design dimension. However, motor torque performance would deteriorate and unwanted noise may exist due to high cogging torque and high output torque ripple. A proper design procedure that includes parameter optimization and intelligent switching for optimum current excitation is required to restore the desired torque.

Monitoring system in the smart grid is a key aspect that determines the reliability of transmission and communication systems in the power grid. The aim of this research is to conduct monitoring in smart grid easier and obiquitous remotely. Measured electrical parameters in smart gird are monitored through Telegram social media and webservice internet-based wirelessly. The role of web service and telepot in the smart grid monitoring system are installed in Raspberry Pi 3 which responsible to receive and process data from sensor module on each nodes and saved in database. The MySQL database accommodates amounts of data containing information on the value of current, voltage, power and time stamp which deliver by sensor node. Web programming is designed using PHP to generate connection to the database and node sensor status that runs continuously. Processed data are conducted in telepot and it is converted in to *.csv file type before sent to the telegram user. The information were also shown in web site as well as in telegram over graph display form that utilize the Highcharts library. Graphs that shows information on voltage, current, and power values can be accessed through a browser using IP address from the Raspberry Pi 3 server. When the users request information to the server, they only need certain command through Telegram social media or open the web broser to access the information from the smart grid system.
