Abstract

The world is changing rapidly due to information technology, and all the people around the world are busy with their jobs, and business, adjusting to this race. Now, parents are giving more time at their business, office, and jobs, instead of passing the time at home, but they always get worried and scared about their children due to abuse of Information Technology and the country's law and order situation. So, parents are wanted to track and monitor their child's activities and location from anywhere to resolve their pressure. But is not possible for every parent to monitor their child physically due to many reasons. This paper presents a system that will help parents monitor their child activities from anywhere using a mobile phone to solve the problem. This android app uses global positioning system (GPS) and mobile services to find the child location and secretly stored all the call logs, hort message service (SMS) logs, contact lists, and accurate locations without knowing the children. Children assume that they are using Facebook, browsing the net or watching videos from youtube. It will not hamper any activities of the child. Parents can check all the activities of children using this app.

Abstract

The paper considers the problem of protecting the Internet of things infrastructure against denial-of-service (DoS) attacks at the application level. The authors considered parameters that affect the network gateway workload: message frequency, payload size, number of recipients and some others. We proposed a modular structure of the attack detection tool presented by three classifiers that use the following attributes: username, device ID, and IP-address. The following types of classifiers have been the objects for the research: multilayer perceptron, random forest algorithm, and modifications of the support vector machine. Some scenarios for the behavior of network devices have been simulated. It was proved that for the proposed feature vector on simulated training and test data sets, the best results have been shown by a multilayer perceptron and a support vector machine with a radial basis function of the kernel and optimization with SMO algorithm. The authors also determined the conditions under which the selected classifiers have the best quality of recognizing abnormal and legitimate traffic in MQTT networks.

Abstract

Maintaining network synchronization is important to customer service. Low fluctuations cause voltage instability, non-synchronization in the power system or the problems in the electrical system disturbances, harmonics current and voltages inflation and contraction voltage. Proper tunning of the parameters of stabilizer is prime for validation of stabilizer. To overcome instability issues and get reinforcement found a lot of the techniques are developed to overcome instability problems and improve performance of power system. Genetic algorithm was applied to optimize parameters and suppress oscillation. The simulation of the robust composite capacitance system of an infinite single-machine bus was studied using MATLAB was used for optimization purpose. The critical time is an indication of the maximum possible time during which the error can pass in the system to obtain stability through the simulation. The effectiveness improvement has been shown in the system.

Abstract

There are many direct and indirect methods of measuring the volumetric ratioof red blood cells relative to sample size and total blood, but the manual carcinogenic method remains the most stable and least expensive method despite the possibility of human error. The ratio percent of the packed red blood cell volume to the total volume of the blood sample is known as the packed cell volume (PCV). Our efforts were directed at finding a precise and economic method for PCV determination. There by, we designed a simple device consisting of a digital camera that is connected to a computer which uses a specific MATLAB program to process the blood images. As a result, the image can be read and the PCV can be calculated using a special code system. This new measuring system provides the capabilities and advantagesto frequently comment on measured PCV with normal or abnormal, in comparison with normal values of PCV, which are stored in the computer. Our measurement method provides accurate results compared to the ruler results to alleviate the effort of clearing the hepatitis C virus from the blood (PCV). This system enables a swift and simple sample analysis and PCV identification.

Abstract

The need for a simple and effective system that works with high efficiency features such as high processing speed, the ability to solve problems by learning method and accomplish the largest amount of data processing accurately and in little time produces that system, which attracted the efforts of the researcher to employ neural networks in computing away from the complexities that burden traditional computers. We presented a model for the design of the arithmetic circuit for the process of addition the sign digit numbers in a new way to deal with the arithmetic operations, which employment of the use of neural networks, this model includes a theoretical and practical simulation of them. The model relied on the implementation of the addition process based on a three-step algorithm adopted by the signed systems. Which is characterized by the possibility of execution in a parallel way, and therefore it provides the advantage of completion of arithmetic operation regardless of the length of their operands, or in other words, whatever the number of bits in the operands. The simulation of the model is done by entering operands for 6 addition operations (each one has operands are 15-bit length) to be executed simultaneously.

Abstract

The economic dispatch is used to find the best optimal output of power generation at the lowest operating cost of each generator, to fulfill the requirements of the consumer. To get a practical solution, several constraints have to be considered, like transmission losses, the valve point effect, prohibited operating region, and emissions. In this research, the valve point effect is to be considered which increases the complexity of the problem due to its ripple effect on the fuel cost curve. Economic load dispatch problems are well-known optimization problems. Many classical and meta-heuristic techniques have been used to get better solutions.  However, there is still room for improvement to get an optimal solution for the economic dispatch problem. In this paper, an Improved Flower Pollination Algorithm with dynamic switch probability and crossover operator is proposed to solve these complex optimization problems.  The performance of our proposed technique is analyzed against fast evolutionary programming (FEP), modified fast evolutionary programming (MFEP), improved fast evolutionary programming (IFEP), artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC), modified particle swarm optimization (MPSO) and standard flower pollination algorithm (SFPA) using three generator units and thirteen thermal power generation units, by including the effects of valve point loading unit and without adding it. The proposed technique has outperformed other methods in terms of the lowest operating fuel cost.

Abstract

Wireless charging by transferring energy between two objects using electromagnetic fields commonly called Wireless power transfer is an alternative technology that is physically installed in an electric vehicle (EV) to charge. Parking alignment is a very important factor in driver behavior that affects Power transfer efficiency (PTE). The proposed hexagonal coil array design in this experiment is to optimize PTE and receiver coil size. The experimental results show that PTE in the tangential boundary plane Misalignment increases by 5-10% when compared to coil array circles and increases by 82% when compared to single coil circles.

Abstract

The nonlinear characteristics and intense credence dependence of photovoltaic (PV) panel on the solar irradiance and ambient temperature demonstrate important challenges for researchers in the PV panel topic. To overcome these problems, the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller is needed which can improve the PV panel efficiency. In other words, for maximum efficiency, the MPPT controller can help to extract the optimal and overall available output power from the PV panel at different output load conditions. Fuzzy logic (FL) is one of the strongest techniques in the extracting of MPP in the PV panel since it has several advantages; robust; no requirement to have an accurate mathematical model, and works with imprecise inputs. Therefore, in this paper, fuzzy logic (FL-MPPT) has been designed and simulated to improve dynamic performance PV panel at different solar irradiance and then increased the efficiency. Therefore, "MATLAB/Simulink software" has been used to build the proposed algorithm and the simulation results have been adequate as well. Besides, a robust FL-MPPT algorithm has been presented with high dynamic performance under different weather conditions. Finally, the proposed algorithm has a quicker response and less oscillatory comparison of the conventional algorithms in the subject of extracting the maximum PV power.

Abstract

Due to high demand for voltage boosting in the field of renewable energy sources, a novel topology of step-up converter with single switch is proposed in this paper. The converter uses single switch with coupled inductors architecture. The proposed topology enables to control the stepping-up gain by adjusting the duty cycle and selecting appropriate turn ratio of the coupled inductors. The two coupled inductors in the circuit can act as a step-up transformer. Moreover, the proposed technique aims to harness the turning off voltage stresses across the switching element and suppress the stress by transferring it to the load. The switching induced voltage was reduced by forwarding the power to charge a capacitor then transfer the power through a diode to the output. Circuit configuration, principles of operation and the gain transfer function of the converter are demonstrated. The proposed circuit is verified by comparing the practical results to the theoretical.

Abstract

It is shown that the convenient processing facilities of digital signals that varying in a finite range of amplitudes are non-binary Galois fields, the numbers of which elements are equal to prime numbers. Within choosing a sampling interval which corresponding to such a Galois field, it becomes possible to construct a Galois field Fourier transform, a distinctive feature of which is the exact correspondence with the ranges of variation of the amplitudes of the original signal and its digital spectrum. This favorably distinguishes the Galois Field Fourier Transform of the proposed type from the spectra, which calculated using, for example, the Walsh basis. It is also shown, that Galois Field Fourier Transforms of the proposed type have the same properties as the Fourier transform associated with the expansion in terms of the basis of harmonic functions. In particular, an analogue of the classical correlation, which connected the signal spectrum and its derivative, was obtained. On this basis proved, that the using of the proposed type of Galois fields makes it possible to develop a complete analogue of the transfer function apparatus, but only for signals presented in digital form.
