In this work, we consider the problem of building an efficient data structure for range selection queries. While there are several theoretical solutions to the problem, only a few have been tried out, and there is little idea on how the others would perform. The computation model used in this paper is the RAM model with word-size $\Theta(\log n)$. Our data structure is a practical linear space data structure that supports range selection queries in $O(\log n)$ time with $O(n\log n)$ preprocessing time. In a response to a growing demand for environments of 70dB or less noise levels, many industrial sectors have focused with some form of noise control system. Active noise control (ANC) has proven to be the most effective technology. This paper mainly investigates application of neural network on self-adaptation system in active noise control (ANC). An active silencing control system is made which adopts a motional feedback loudspeaker as not a noise controlling source but a detecting sensor. The working fundamentals and the characteristics of the motional feedback loudspeaker are analyzed in detail. By analyzing each acoustical path, identification based adaptive linear neural network is built. This kind of identifying method can be achieved conveniently. The estimated result of each sound channel matches well with its real sound character, respectively. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i7.1580

In mmWave massive MIMO systems, the lens antenna array and beam selection by beamspace MIMO are employed to target the number of required RF chains reduced without obvious performance loss. For cost – effective, the number of RF chain is an allowable limitation, however, to obtain the near-optimal capacity efficiently, beam selection must require the exact information of the wide size of beamspace channel. Solution to this problem, in this paper we suggest analyzing whole beamspace based on maximal SINR. More specicfically, it is confirmed that the proposed beam selection algorithms achieve higher power efficiencies than a full system where all beams are employed.

A virtual window is used to determine the direction and speed of a uniformly moving obstacle. Two intersections with the virtual window at different location are used to calculate the relative path and speed of the obstacle. Two simulations were performed using Excel 2010. The first simulation simulates a practical running of a uniformly moving obstacle, while the second has the obstacle moving at a very high speed. The result shows that the system was able to determine the relative speed and path of the uniformly moving obstacle accurately.

A novel and efficient approach for multicomponent chirp-like jammer excision in direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) communication systems using Hilbert-Huang Hough (HH-H) transform is proposed, which is the generalization of marginal Hilbert spectrum. The approach iteratively decomposes the received signal into intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) and applies Hilbert transform to each IMF to yield Hilbert spectrum (HS), by which the embedded jammers can be well concentrated in the time-frequency plane along their instantaneous frequency laws. By performing Hough transform over the HS and searching peaks in the parameter space, parameters estimation and components reconstruction of the multicomponent chirp-like jammer are implememted. Simulation results are presented showing performance comparison between the proposed method and the fractional Fourier transform (FrFT) based method in the case of two chirp-like jammer components. Due to the highly non-linear electrical characteristics of photovoltaic generators (PVGs), the efficiency of PV systems can be improved by forcing the GPV to operate at their maximum power point (MPP). In this article, we are interested in concentrating Photovoltaic design to improve the output current of the panelwhile maintaining the DCDC boost element, after presenting the basic structure of Boost DC-DC converter, which shows the existence of a limitation on the voltage gain for this converter. In order to meet the specifications (high voltage gain and low ripple of the input current), existing structures will be presented that are able to provide a high voltage gain (Photovoltaic concentration) compared to another structure

In order to improve the control effect of the main steam temperature with large time delay, this paper proposed a delay separated neural network inverse (DSNNI) control scheme. The delay time and the positive model without delay were given by using adaptive linear element and BP network. The neural network inverse model of the positive model without delay was built on that basis. An appropriate reference model was selected to make the inverse model’s output smoothing. It is an open-loop control system when the model is cascaded into original system. It will avoid the instability caused by the closed-loop control systems. Off-line identification and on-line identification are combined to get the inverse model in order to reduce the steady-state error and make the system have fine adaptive capacity. Detail simulation tests are carried out on the given 300MW power unit. Tests show that the neural network inverse control with delay time separation can get rapid and smooth output for the main steam temperature system. It is able to overcome the adverse effects caused by the time delay and the parameters changes. Compared with the cascade PID controller, the adjustment time of DSNNI reduces from 600s to380s and shows faster response, better robustness and anti-interference performance.

Data security in a computing dynamic infrastructure without explicit user intervention is tough to achieve. A robust authenticated encryption scheme with multiple keys for ad hoc networks has been proposed. Real time attacks has been monitored and coped up using re-encryption algorithm. The effectiveness of the work has been validated by extensive simulations on various combination in terms of S-Boxes, key and data length. The proposed work is a collaboration of optimal selection of S-Boxes, key and data lengths with evaluation of heat dissipation. The work has been carried out to develop an optimized efficient key management technique to reduce the time available for hackers. To verify the effectiveness of proposed algorithm, the results have been compared with K. Xue et al. (2013) , Li et al. (2011) and S. K. Sood et al.’s protocol (2011)

Traffic is one of the most common issues in the big cities around the world. Thus, develop and improve the traffic light control systems became the focus of recent studies. To solve the problem, we proposed a dynamic hybrid fuzzy logic control system that is further branched into two separate systems: An Accident Detection system and an Action system that is intended to solve the congestion related to the vehicular traffic. The primary target of this paper is to discuss the Action system, which depends on the Accident Detection system. This paper explained the two parts of the Action system. It showed the improvement of the Action system with %9.32 in total car crossed. It also presented different scenarios using iTraffic simulation and description of each scenario is displayed with details about the road variables and the simulation results with and without the action system.

With emergence of technologies like big data, the healthcare services are also being explored to apply this technology and reap benefits. Big Data analytics can be implemented as a part of e-health which involves the extrapolation of actionable insights from sources like health knowledge base and health information systems. Present day medical data creates a lot of information consistently. At present, Hospital Information System is a quickly developing innovation. This data is a major asset for getting data from gathering of gigantic measures of surgical information by forcing a few questions and watchwords. Be that as it may, there is issue of getting data precisely what the client need, because Hospital Information System contains more than one archive identified with a specific thing, individual or episode and so on. Information extraction is one of information mining systems used to concentrate models portraying essential information classes. The proposed work will work for the most part concentrating on accomplishing great execution in Medical Domain. Fundamentally this had two primary purposes one was separating significant information from patient content record and second one labelling name substance, for example, individual, association, area, malady name and symptoms. Improve survival rates and tweak care conventions and review inquiries to better deal with any interminable consideration populace. Lower costs by decreasing pointless hospitalizations. Abbreviate length of stay when confirmation is fundamental.
