Abstract

Preeclampsia is a health problem that requires special attention because preeclampsia is a high cause of maternal and perinatal mortality, especially in developing countries. Until now preeclampsia and eclampsia are still "the disease of theories", because the incidence of preeclampsia-eclampsia remains high and results in high maternal morbidity and mortality. Many theories suggest that the cause of preeclampsia is placental ischemia. However, this theory cannot explain all the things related to the disease. Apparently not only one factor, but many factors that cause preeclampsia and eclampsia (multiple causation). Factors that are often found as risk factors include parity, knowledge and anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, parity and anxiety with the incidence of severe preeclampsia at the Kayuagung Hospital in 2021. The design of this research is quantitative using an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women who were treated at the Kayuagung Hospital from January to December 20, 2021. The sample used was some pregnant women who were treated at the Kayuagung Hospital. Sampling technique Incidental Sampling / Accidental Sampling, amounting to 33 respondents. The statistical results of the chi-square test obtained p value = 0.015 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of severe preeclampsia, the statistical results of the chi-square test obtained p value = 0.033 <0.05, so it can be concluded it was concluded that there was a relationship between parity and the incidence of severe preeclampsia and the statistical results of the chi-square test obtained p value = 0.067 <0.05, so it could be concluded that there was no relationship between parity and the incidence of severe preeclampsia. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and parity with the incidence of severe preeclampsia at the Kayuagung Hospital in 2021 and there is no relationship between simultaneous anxiety and the incidence of severe preeclampsia in the Kayuagung Hospital in 2021

Abstract

Hyperemesis gravidarum is severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy which can cause various disturbances in the balance of the mother's body so that it can interfere with fetal growth. The exact cause of HEG is not known, but chronic increases in the hormones estrogen, progesterone and gonadotropins are thought to cause nausea and vomiting. The incidence of HEG at the Shafaa Marwa Clinic in Batam City is still quite high where in 2018 there were 21 people who experienced hypermesis gravidarum, in 2019 it fell to 16 people and in 2020 it increased again to 26 people. This study aims to determine the relationship between HEG and maternal age, parity, education and occupation. The method used is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. With a population of 187 pregnant women in the first trimester at the Shafaa Marwa clinic, 128 samples were taken using a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a relationship between age and the incidence of HEG (p = 0.001), there was a relationship between gravida and the incidence of HEG (P = 0.001), there was no relationship between education and the incidence of HEG (P = 0.151 ) and there was no relationship between work and the incidence of HEG. (P = 0.935). There is a relationship between age, and parity with the incidence of HEG and there is no relationship between education and occupation with the incidence of hypermesis gravidarum. Suggestion It is necessary to hold an activity by health workers such as counseling about early detection of danger signs in young pregnancy, and others. Ongoing activities (posyandu) should be further improved so that they are able to control maternal health, especially for pregnant women.

Abstract

Preparedness is an effort carried out to anticipate the possibility of a disaster in an area, this action is taken to avoid the loss of life, loss of property, and changes in the life of the community. Preparedness to face a disaster is a condition of individuals and groups who have physical and psychological abilities in dealing with disasters. The government's role in responding to disaster relief efforts is carried out through several regional policies and regulations with the support of several community organizations, companies, private institutions and institutions, the military, and other community organizations. The regulatory framework that has been issued by the government seeks to respond to various disaster events in Indonesia by building a disaster management system in terms of legislation, institutions, implementation (pre, emergency response, and post-disaster). which is relevant to the focus of the research that the researcher is looking for, namely resources and cooperation in the emergency response system in disaster management, while the results of this study explain that community empowerment in an effort to deal with emergency cases is an effort to increase the effectiveness of the integrated emergency service system, especially to deal with natural and non-natural disasters. Through the provision of education and training as first aid materials, both formally and informally delivered and carried out regularly and continuously, it is hoped that the community will be able to know the various efforts and countermeasures in the context of dealing with disasters appropriately. Disaster preparedness policy is very important and is a concrete effort issued by the government and several related parties, especially in carrying out disaster preparedness activities. The policy also affects the disaster warning system, resource mobilization, funding, management organization, and important facilities for disaster emergencies.

Abstract

The nervous system is a network in the body that has various important functions for the body, while several body functions are controlled by the nervous system, including brain growth and development, sensation or perception, emotions, breathing and heart rate. The human nervous system is divided into two major parts, namely, the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. Many neurological diseases can become progressive, impairing respiratory function. Disorders due to neurological disease can affect the respiratory center, inspiratory / expiratory muscles, and upper respiratory tract muscles. Although neurological diseases have many causes and different clinical courses, in most cases respiratory complications are a major cause of morbidity and mortality. Often the first symptoms, respiratory disorders only in the form of sleep disturbances, and nocturnal desaturation. Examination of respiratory function by spirometry showed a restrictive picture with a fairly good total lung capacity. Management with a combination of assisted inspiration and expiration, accompanied by management of oral secretions, breathing exercises, and medical therapy. Good management can prolong survival, improve quality of life, improve cognitive function, reduce the incidence of pneumonia and hospitalization. The presence of an expert reveals information in the form of uncertain statements such as possible, most likely and almost certainly, to help and facilitate the public in diagnosing neurological diseases. Expert systems can help for disease diagnosis, where this system is to reconstruct the expertise and reasoning abilities of an expert.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease that contains a collection of symptoms that arise in a person caused by an increase in blood glucose levels (hyperglycemia) due to a progressive decrease in insulin secretion, the prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus in the world continues to increase every year. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that is increasing in the world and is the cause of various organ damage, one of which is diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Early detection of diabetic peripheral neuropathy and identification of risk factors can reduce the morbidity of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Cases of diabetic neuropathy affect as many as 54% of patients with type 2 diabetes, the prevalence of neuropathy in patients with diabetes mellitus is approximately 30% in hospital patients and 20% in patients in the community. Complications of neuropathy can strike patients with diabetes mellitus at various ages. The longer a patient has diabetes, the risk of developing complications of Diabetes Mellitus will increase. The cause of this is due to degenerative factors, namely a decrease in body functions, especially the ability of pancreatic -cells to produce insulin and other organs of the body that also perform compensatory mechanisms during persistent hyperglycemia. The purpose of this study is to find a simple test that can be used by the public in detecting diabetes mellitus neuropathy, while the data collected by researchers from 2013 to 2018 used 3 databases (Pubmed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar). So the results of this study explain that the Sudoscan method is a test that does not require special preparation and can be used by untrained people, of course, in detecting neuropathy in diabetes mellitus, while the neuropad method can be carried out by non-professional staff and takes 9 minutes to 13 minutes. minutes and is now easy to use. These methods are very effective, and do not require tools and can be used by the general public, so they can be used to detect neuropathy both in hospitals, health centers and in patients' private places.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of enteral nutrition in pediatric surgical cases while data collection was carried out on several relevant literature studies using databases, Pubmed journals and Google Scholar, the results showed that enteral nutrition in the postoperative period should be carried out regularly. adequate through the process of excessive body muscle proteolysis and at an advanced stage. Energy expenditure will also increase in surgical trauma as a result of hormonal responses, this situation is in anticipation of early nutrition by means of enteral nutrition which will lead to faster recovery and wound healing and prevent complications so that the patient's length of stay will be shorter and indirectly will also reduce the costs incurred for the treatment of patients. Enteral nutrition in children is acceptable, tolerated, and provides a good response to nutritional status with such good acceptance of enteral nutrition that nutritional support aimed at achieving or at least maintaining optimal nutritional status can be implemented because there is less food left, so that Enteral nutrition can be used as an alternative to good nutritional support for children, this process also becomes a reference for the increased serum albumin and prealbumin values in most subjects and no weight loss occurs.
