Abstract

Waste Management Strategy in Developing Educational Tourism in Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan Province. The research objective was to find out strategies in the development of waste management education tourism carried out by the Office Technical Implementation Unit of Manggar’s Waste Processing Site. In addition, this study also aims to find out the implementing organization and the forms of cooperation carried out in developing waste management education tourism. The method used in this study is action research. The author examines the definition of action research into a field study with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the research findings were analyzed by the SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunities, threats) analysis model. The result is that the strategy for developing the Final Disposal Site in Manggar as a means of production, education, and recreation is based on the master plan of the Department of Landscaping and Funeral Services of Balikpapan City.

Abstract

Employee Performance of Ilir Barat I District Office in Palembang City in the Implementation of Public Services. This study aims to determine the level of performance of service units and determine the quality of service on a regular basis as an ingredient for establishing policies in order to improve the quality of public services. In addition, this study also aims to determine how the performance of the District Government in the Implementation of Public Services in Ilir Barat I Subdistrict, Palembang City. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used are using observations, interviews and questionnaires. Questionnaire instruments in this study using the measurement scale used is an ordinal scale with a type of Likert scale. Before the research instrument is used, validity and reliability tests are conducted to determine the extent to which instruments can be trusted. The interpretation of the respondent’s answers was measured by a score that weighs 1 to 5, which means strongly disagreeing to strongly agree. The analytical method used in this study is Factor Analysis. The results show that the most dominant factors are Quality, Responsiveness and Productivity. Thus, based on the perception of Ilir Barat I District, these factors are determinants of achieving excellent service. Meanwhile, the lowest dominant factor is the Accountability factor. Thus the employees of the Ilir Barat I District office are responsible for carrying out their duties not to violate the rules but only to carry out their duties without creativity and motivation in order to achieve excellent service.

Abstract

Effectiveness of Education and Training in Increasing Auditor Performance at the Lamongan Regency Inspectorate of East Java Province. This study aims to find out and analyze education and training to be the driving factors for improving the performance of auditors at the Inspectorate of Lamongan Regency, East Java Province. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach. The conclusion of this study is the effectiveness of education and training carried out through technical training programs held by the Lamongan District Inspectorate and the implementation of functional training and technical training outside which aims to improve the performance of the Lamongan District Inspectorate auditors, including being effective. This can be understood from the results of the overall study through interviewing the author with sources and direct observations. The indicators of effectiveness of auditor participation to carry out technical training carried out by the Inspectorate and functional training and technical training held outside of stating that, every implementation. Education and training can have a positive impact on the auditor of the Lamongan District Inspectorate in improving performance to carry out their duties and functions as internal government supervisors.

Abstract

Development of Village Owned Enterprises through Village Funds in Genteng District, Banyuwangi Regency. The village fund are prioritized for development and empowerment of community. One of them for establishment and management BUMDes. BUMDes is economic institution and social institution possessed by village and communit, which beneficial for community and village. However, capital inclusion from village fund for BUMDes is not given routinely. The purpose of research is obtain overview and analyze the development of BUMDes through village fund, inhibitory and supporting the development of BUMDes in Genteng, Banyuwangi, East Java. The research used qualitative research with descriptive methods. The technique of capturing data through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of research is the development of BUMDes through village fund in Genteng has not run optimally because not all villages provide village fund to BUMDes and the capacity BUMDes’s operator is low. Therefore, the development of BUMDes needs capital inclusion from village funds and increase BUMDes’s operator through comparative study and internship.

Abstract

Analysis of Accuracy The Tax Object Sales Value (NJOP) to Market Value with Assessment Sales Ratio Method. (Case Study In Malang City). This research is conducted to know the accuracy of determination of Tax Object Sales Value (NJOP) which determined by the government to current market value in society. This research was conducted in 5 (five) sub-districts in all areas of Malang City by taking samples of 80 land and building sales transactions in 2016-early 2017. This research uses a descriptive method with purposive sampling technique. The result is Assessment Sales Ratio in Kedungkandang District at 66%, Sukun District 68%, Klojen District 63%, Lowokwaru District 79%, and District Blimbing 70%. While for the entire area of Malang City of 69%. This shows that the Assessment Ratio in Malang City is still far from the standard set by IAAO that is 90% of its market value. The result of the mean divided by the median is 0.93 and the mean divided by the weighted mean of 1.13. This shows that there is no under assessment or over assessment, but it does not reflect the proportional assessment in Malang City area. COD (coefficient of dispersion) of 27.27% and COV (coefficient of variation) of 35.87% indicates that there is a need for reappraisal of NJOP which is set so as not to be too far from market value.
