Abstract

This systematic literature review comprehensively examines usability evaluation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The study explores the importance of usability evaluation, common usability issues, and the role of usability evaluations in GIS design and development. The review reveals a critical need for more scientific publications of up-to-date GIS usability evaluations. It highlights the importance of usability evaluations in developing more user-friendly GIS applications. The findings underscore the need for improved user guidance and more intuitive design of GIS applications, particularly for novice users. The review also identifies several opportunities for future research, including developing usability guidelines for GIS, exploring new methods for analyzing GIS interactions and workflows, and considering GIS use over more extended periods. The findings have significant implications for GIS developers, users, and researchers, emphasizing the importance of conducting usability evaluations to enhance user satisfaction and improve task performance.

Abstract

This concise presents a power efficient level shifter using regulated cross-coupled network with split inverter. With the use of regulated cross-coupled network, power dissipation of the pull-up region drastically decreases. Level shifters convert the voltage levels which are below the threshold voltage to the acceptable voltage levels by decreasing the transistor size. A Split inverter is used at the output to decrease the short circuit current. Modified Split inverter along with the load capacitor at the output is used to increase the speed and to decrease the power consumption. This LS can save 31% power compared to other techniques. The proposed level shifter works effectively at high speed and consumes less power. For simulation, LT spice tool of 50 nm technology and 90 nm technology is used.

Abstract

Snail mucus Achasin protein is a protein that has important biological functions, besides being intended to prevent evaporation, and assist smooth movement, it is also needed to protect the body from mechanical injuries. This research is expected to increase knowledge about the effect of achasin protein on snail mucus on wound healing and can provide scientific information to the public about the use and benefits of snail mucus as a traditional medicine for healing cuts on the skin of mice ( Mus Musculus ). This type of research is a literature review study that aims to examine the effect of achasin protein on snail mucus ( Achatina Fulica ) on the healing of cuts on the skin of mice ( mus musculus ). Sources of data used in this study used a literature review with relevant sources such as books, official documents, publications, and relevant research results. The results of this study were the achasin protein in snail mucus (Achatina Fulica) can accelerate the healing of cuts (vulnus scissum) on the skin of mice (mus musculus). The content of achasin isolate is also useful as an antibacterial and painkiller. So that people can take advantage of snail slime as an alternative to traditional medicine derived from natural ingredients that have been clinically tested for their efficacy.
