Abstract

The development of motorcycle use in Indonesia is increasing every year. This increasing trend is also accompanied by the increasing number of theft crimes of motorcycles. This is due to the physical nature of the motorcycle which is relatively small and easy to steal. In this study the author will discuss the motorcycle theft prevention system by installing various sensors built using fuzzy logic and utilizing the concept of the Internet of Things (IOT). This fuzzy logic consists of values and domains that are classified into several variables to conclude the degree and status of the motorcycle as an alarm trigger. Then by utilizing IOT the alarm is converted into a notification that will be sent via the motorcycle user's Telegram application if the motorcycle is stationary, Bergerak or moved. This system has 2 (two) components, namely hardware in the form of several sensors including infrared sensors along with a microcontroller and software connected to the Telegram application which functions as a motorcycle status notification receiver.

Abstract

The number of beauty and care products is widespread outside, the more skin problems people experience . Various problems of this disease are also caused by allergies due to the use of various beauty products and taking care of the skin from products on the market . Therefore, we need a system that can help choose good skincare according to skin type using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The application that will be made for the selection of facial foam, moisturizer, and mask with criteria, namely oily skin, normal skin, dry skin, sensitive skin and combination skin, this application is expected to solve the problem of choosing skincare more effectively and precisely. The application of this application uses a waterfall system development, built using the PHP programming language, and bootstrap as a tool interface design to make it look attractive k.

Abstract

This paper describes the main advantages of this DAS module which is that it can be manufactured at a very affordable price and provides good performance is commonly used in industrial control systems. Alternative data acquisition system (DAS) modules can use the LabVIEW interface in motor control systems. The DAS module is controlled by the ATmega64 AVR microcontroller which will communicate in both directions with LabVIEW using the serial communication method. Which is used to obtain 8-bit digital input, 8-bit digital output, 8 analog input channels, and also 2 analog output channels. Digital inputs can be used for 0-5V and 0-24V voltages. The digital output is made open collector with a "low" voltage of 0.276V. For analog input and analog output, this system has an average error of 14.47 in the input range of 1-5V; 72.34 for the 0-10V input range; 0.037 MA for 4-20mA input range, and 16.2 for the 0-10V output range. This system is not designed for use in applications that require real-time accuracy and fast accuracy

Abstract

The drive system is described in detail in this research, since it is the primary component in all circumstances and necessitates cooling machines in industry or at home to have a protection / safety system placed on the motor to prevent losses caused by probable disruptions. Cooling machines are becoming more common nowadays, and each cooling system must have an effective protective mechanism to ensure that the cooling machine's electric motor operates efficiently. Its purpose is to underline the important role of the electric motor protection system in order to guarantee that the engine coolant may be utilized safely and cost effectively for an extended length of time. In terms of electric motor management, safety is grouped into three categories: overload protection, short circuit protection, and short circuit protection and overload protection. Thus, to get the desired outcome, the safety of the electric motor functioning as a controller must be adjusted and thoroughly investigated.

Abstract

In this era of information households, electrical energy consumption is divided into two, namely the low economy class which consumes the most electricity, around 20.00%, and the upper-middle economic class which consumes the most electricity. about 20.00 to 32.00% ac. Vertical living is widespread in the middle economy class, with occupancy increasing by 9.52% in 2017. In this situation, an analysis of energy consumption and savings is required. The problem of the simple rental apartment case in Medan Asia Mega Mas Indonesia is a clear example of the need for an energy monitoring system. this is due to the use of electricity that is not by the function of the apartment, such as air conditioning and washing machines. Energy meter systems measure the voltage and current of electrical equipment connected to the system. the voltage sensor used is zmpt101b5 and the current sensor used is acs712. The design of this energy meter system can measure the voltage and current of electrical equipment with an error rate of 4.40%. according to the measurement results, the air conditioning system is the most power-consuming resource in the 800kwh range.

Abstract

Swimming pools and fish ponds require special care to maintain water conditions such as acidity, temperature, and water clarity. So far, the circulation of water in manual draining and filling takes too much time and requires electricity that must always be active. The problem in this study, designing an IoT system in water movement that can be monitored with variables of water acidity, water temperature, and water clarity. which can be controlled remotely. This tool is designed using Arduino and several sensors to process the system on the tool, Ultrasonic HC-SR04 to measure water level or water level, and Water Flow as a water volume recorder. The results of monitoring the water level will be displayed on the LCD. Furthermore, by using SIM800L it can be seen the position of the pump is on or off. Because SIM800L will send a message to the user to notify the reservoir is filled or empty. So that the user's cellphone will display information about the water volume, water level, and the state of the reservoir in a full or empty position.

Abstract

In the future, technological development factors greatly affect the human ability to carry out activities. To do simple things is sometimes difficult for some people. This difficulty is encountered in the elderly and children when reaching the switch to turn on electronic equipment such as lights. In this study, the latest research on controlling lights using voice commands is carried out. The convenience provided is controlling the lights with voice commands using an android smartphone. This tool is made to replace the function of the switch so that it can ON/OFF the lights without having to reach the switch that is far from the user. The working principle is explained below. The user will give voice commands through the Boarduino application on the Android cellphone, where Android has been connected to Arduino Uno via Bluetooth HC-05 as the transmission medium. The sound is detected by Google Voice and then stored and recorded by the microphone on the cellphone. The recorded voice is sent to Google's servers via the internet, then Google reads and processes the human voice. By sampling the sound that was previously an analog signal into binary (digital) bits. Furthermore, these bits are processed in the Google database and translated into text form. Every voice command will be processed by Arduino Uno, if the voice command is by the program then the relay is active so that the lights can be controlled. This tool is expected to be able to meet the needs and right on target in the community. And become a tool to meet needs, especially for the elderly and children.

Abstract

One of the security systems at the substation is grounding. The grounding system is a conductor system that connects the system, equipment body and installation with the earth/ground so that it can protect humans from electric shock, as well as secure in-stallation components from the danger of abnormal voltage/current. The results of the measurement analysis using an earth tester on the Kutacane substation equipment, all observations show the grounding resistance is in a safe condition with the overall re-sults showing a smaller number below 1ohm. And provide a safe impact on the distri-bution system from voltage surges and lightning surges and provide a safe impact on humans from induced voltages.
