Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest tea-producing countries in the world. The Ministry of Trade recorded the value of tea exports in 2017 of 1,826.8 million US dollars. So that the quality and quality of the tea produced must be considered, starting from planting tea plants, picking tea leaves, to processing tea leaves into ready-to-eat tea. So far, farmers are only picking tea leaves based on the time they are picked from the planting block. If the time to pick the block has arrived, then the block will be picked as a whole. Weather is one of the factors that affect the uncertainty of picking times. This study identified pests on tea leaves using digital image processing. The first stage starts with image acquisition and preprocessing. From the results, the statistical characteristics of each image are taken. The data resulting from the training image are stored in a database. The training image data will be used as a reference for identifying types of pests using a Support Vector Machine

Abstract

Bank Mandiri Pematangsiantar Sudirman branch is a banking financial institution that accepts deposits, savings, or other forms and distributes funds as a business. At Bank Mandiri Pematangsiantar, there is always a graduation requirement for prospective debtors to be able to apply for credit/loans. Prospective debtors must meet the requirements to meet the criteria for applying for microcredit at the Sudirman branch of Bank Mandiri Pematangsiantar. And to determine prospective debtors who are entitled to receive credit, bank employees must determine several criteria that must be met by prospective debtors. This problem can be solved by the simple additive weighting (SAW) method in determining criteria and making decisions. This method will provide an alternative weighting with the largest weight being the choice that will be determined as a new prospective customer at Bank Mandiri Pematangsiantar

Abstract

The weakness of coffee entrepreneurs during this time is still the lack of knowledge about the sorting of the assessment the results sorting of coffee beans. So far the selection of coffee beans is still using the manual way but the coffee beans will be in the process will be sorted election to determine the quality. This condition causes producers inefficient and accurate in determining the quality of coffee beans because of insufficient technology to manage the quality determination of coffee beans that require manufacturers to analyze the quality of coffee beans using a system based on standardization assessment by the International coffee organization (ICO). To facilitate the manufacturer in this case, the authors build a decision support system of the determination of the sorting of coffee beans that can provide solutions that have been faced to produce quality coffee beans. To support this research, the data collection criteria from the International coffee organization (ICO) as data to conduct the quality assessment. The decision support system is formed using PHP, HTML, and MYSQL programming language as system database, weighted product as its design method. this decision support system is built by adding criteria to reduce the level of subjectivity, and the impact on the results of determining the quality of coffee beans is given to be more accurate and precise.

Abstract

This study will identify the seabed using a Fishfinder computer with an Echo Sounder System, by taking the output data from the tool. The GARMIN Fishfinder 160 Blue is one of the best echo sounders out there today. This tool is a simple echo sounder, this tool can only measure water depth in one ping. A good system is a system that can identify the profile of the seabed. Therefore, a tool that can work optimally is made to display the profile of the seabed by utilizing the results of measurements of seabed depth per ping. This GARMIN Fishfinder 160 Blue can display the contours of the seabed, but this tool works based on a Microcontroller and is displayed on an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). Indonesia is known as an archipelagic country which is also known as a maritime or maritime country. Indonesia's marine area reaches 5.8 million km2. This sea area is equal to about 70% of the total area of Indonesia. This means that Indonesia's sea area is larger than its land area. The results of the tests carried out are software that is built from the results of the design as expected in terms of accuracy and describes the depth point, so that it can form a seabed profile with the scale made. From the results of testing the Echo Sounder tool (GARMIN Fishfinder 160 Blue) at rest, the measurement error is relatively very small, below 5%. This means that this tool can still be used for research purposes. During software testing, there was a delay (delay) in displaying the basic in situ profile, compared to the GARMIN Fishfinder 160 Blue. Data retrieval of water depth when moving past 4 (four) points has the same value of water depth at 4 (four) points which have been previously measured using Hyperterminal..

Abstract

Vehicle users sometimes do not pay attention to the safety and security of the environment by driving at very high speeds. This is exacerbated by moving that is not by the rules, making it prone to accidents. Detection of the motion of an object in the avi video this time is focused on the operation of detecting the area of moving objects in the avi video. The operation used in processing the detection of an object is an operation on image processing because the video is a collection of images executed in a unit of time. For this reason, this method works by getting information from a video.

Abstract

Today, the effective security of a system is indispensable for daily business activities. A secure system can provide a high level of trust to users so that it can add value and usability to the system itself. Users will feel comfortable and safe when dealing with systems that can secure user data from attackers. There are several ways to secure data through a channel, one of which is cryptography. In cryptography, highly confidential data will be disguised in such a way that even if the data can be read it cannot be understood by unauthorized parties. Data that will be sent and has not been encrypted is known as plaintext, and after being disguised by an encoding method, this plaintext will turn into ciphertext.

Abstract

Cleansing and moisturizing cosmetics are the most important part of facial skin care because they have benefits in maintaining healthy facial skin. More and more cleansing and acne products on the market make it difficult for consumers to choose which one suits their skin type. In this case, a cosmetic application is made by considering several available criteria and alternatives by applying the PROMETHEE and SMART methods and the running time of each selection method will be calculated. The selection system is very easy, by entering criteria according to skin type, price, age, texture and side effects as inputs in the selection, then we can find out which cleansers and preventions best suit the needs of the skin and the consumer's budget.

Abstract

In this day and age, all information can be searched and obtained from technological developments. The more users of technology such as smartphones/androids among the wider community, the more information that can be obtained. Currently, there are many cases of violations of cosmetic circulation in Indonesia. Such as the circulation of products without a registration code from the BPOM (Food and Drug Supervisory Agency) which is faked by irresponsible parties. Of the many cases of cosmetic violations, along with changes in people's lifestyles such as changes in consumption patterns (users). At this time, public knowledge is still minimal about choosing and using safe cosmetic products. The application of cosmetic safety check applications is an option for consumers because with this application they can check for themselves whether the products to be used are genuine or fake. The method used in this study is to use qualitative methods and the waterfall method. This application is expected to help the public before buying a cosmetic product, simply by checking the barcode and scanning using a smartphone/android, consumers can quickly find out whether a cosmetic product is genuine or not before using it..

Abstract

Nowadays where technology has grown rapidly, the Internet also enlivens the biggest revolution in technological advancement where the internet can facilitate in accessing various information. The Internet is widely used by creative workers to provide information so that it can be known by everyone who uses the internet. The problem in the current research is that the Toba Film Commission is deadlocked in informing the data owned to the public because the Toba film commission does not yet have a container or place to spread the information accurately. The data collection techniques used in this study are Library Studies, Observations, Interviews, And methods used to analyze this problem there are qualitative methods. with the analysis of the development of media promotion of web-based Toba film commission, this can help promote tourism and scouting locations with the help of google maps to get the desired information and facilitate film actors in finding the necessary equipment such as cameras, lighting, tripods, etc. in North Sumatera, especially in the Lake Toba area. With the creation of this website, the public can easily dig up information related to tourism and scouting in the North Sumatera area.
