The Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang published Manajemen Bisnis (MB) journal in 2011. Start in December 2018, the MB journal has online ISSN 2655-2523 for articles that publish started from Volume 9 No. 1, April 2019. Then, start from Volume 9 No. 2. MB journal has been accredited for SINTA 4. MB journal is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal published twice a year (April and October). This journal published articles in Bahasa but in 2019 MB journal published all articles in English. This journal only accepts articles from original research results. MB journal welcomes all articles related to management and business fields. Subjects suitable for publication include financial management, marketing management, human resource management, operation management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and international business. Manajemen Bisnis journal has been indexed in Google Scholar and DOAJ. MB journal keeps an attempt to be indexed in other journal directories.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the condition of brand image, purchase intention and purchase decision, analyze the influence of brand image on purchase decision, analyze the influence of brand image on purchase intention, analyze the influence of purchase intention on purchase decision, analyze the role of purchase intention in mediating the influence of brand image on purchase decision. The population in this study were consumers of mugwort clay skintific in Malang City with a total of 110 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The method used was the process macro hayes with SPSS 25. The results of this study indicate that brand image has a significant positive effect on purchase decision, brand image has a significant positive effect on purchase intention, purchase intention has a significant positive effect on purchase decision and purchase intention can mediate the influence of brand image on purchase decision.

Abstract

This research aims to anlyze and obtain empirical evidence about the effect of profitability, collateralizable assets, and growth in net assets to dividend policy. Dependent variable was used Dividend Policy. Independet variable were used profitability, collateralizable assets, and growth in net assets. This research population was manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2018-2022. Sample was collected by purposive sampling method. Total 35 manufacturing companies were taken as study’s sample. By collecting secondary data in the form of financial reports that are accessed through www.idx.co.id. Hypothesis testing used multiple linier regression analysis with SPSS 23 program and a significant level of 0,05 (5%). The results of this research showed that collateralizable assets did not significantly effect to dividend policy. As for profitability has positive significantly effect to dividend policy, and growth in net assets has negative significantly effect to dividend policy. The determination coefficient result showed 58,1%. That’s about 58,1% indicated the ability of the independent variables explained the dependent variable while 41,9% explained by the other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of soft skills, adversity quotient and self-efficacy of students on work readiness. The study population was Management Study Program students, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Class of 2020. Sampling using the Slovin formula method with basic random sides resulted in 86 responses. Multiple linear regression analysis was carried out using SPSS 26 in this method. The findings of this study indicate that although adversity quotient has a positive and insignificant effect on work readiness—that is, it does not affect students' readiness to enter the workforce—skills have a large positive effect on work readiness. Work readiness increases significantly through self-efficacy. In management study program students, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Class of 2020, self-efficacy has a stronger influence on work readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to identify stocks from companies included in the Infobank15 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2023 period that can form an optimal stock portfolio, along with the proportion of funds to be invested in each stock. Additionally, it calculates the expected return and risk of the resulting optimal stock portfolio. The population of this study consists of 15 stocks listed in the Infobank15 index. The sample used includes all 15 stocks, selected using a saturated sampling method. The analysis method is based on the Single Index Model. The analysis results indicate that 5 stocks form the optimal portfolio, namely PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) at -13.60%, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) at 45.30%, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) at 63.14%, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) at 2.39%, and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) at 2.77%. The expected return of the optimal portfolio is 2.4%, with a portfolio risk level of 0.025%. This study is expected to provide practical contributions to investors in making more accurate investment decisions and to enrich the literature on the application of the Single Index Model in the banking sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload, work stress, and autocratic leadership style on employee job satisfaction at PT Angkasa Pura, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Branch Office. Utilizing a quantitative approach, this research involved 53 employees from the Administration division as the sample. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The study also included instrument validity testing, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that workload, work stress, and autocratic leadership style have a significant and positive impact on job satisfaction. Employees' ability to manage high workloads contributes to increased satisfaction. Effective work stress management further enhances job satisfaction. Additionally, the implementation of an appropriate autocratic leadership style positively influences employees' overall job satisfaction.
