Abstract

Several reservoirs have been built at several points in the area to control the floods that have been hitting Balikpapan City. However, it turns out that this alternative is still not able to reduce the occurrence of standing water in several locations, including in the Wonorejo area, so it still needs to be evaluated regarding its function as a control building or merely being a water storage pool that does not have a water release control system. In solving this problem, an analysis of the reservoir's characteristics is carried out, which is the relationship between elevation, area, and reservoir capacity, which is obtained using the 3rd order polynomial regression equation. Then, the cumulative volume of inflow volume projection in the reservoir is carried out using a linear program equation to the reservoir capacity. In knowing the output channel capacity (outflow) performance, a comparison is made to the input discharge (inflow) in the reservoir as an evaluation to find out that the outflow channel will not overflow into the surrounding area. Based on the characteristic curve, it is found that the storage capacity in the Wonorejo reservoir is 0.795 MCM or 794,900.45 m3 with the total volume entering the reservoir of 1,795,034 m3, which indicates that the current performance of the reservoir has been less effective. Whereas in the reservoir outflow capacity, it was found 57.90 m3/s, when compared to the amount of input discharge (inflow) of 33.00 m3/s, it can be said that the dimensions of the outflow channel still have sufficient capacity to accommodate flood discharge from within reservoir

Abstract

Expansive clay is a soil that has high fluctuation of shrinkage and contains minerals that have a high potential to expand when exposed to water, so this type of soil requires special handling so that it can be used as a basis for construction. One effort that can be used to improve the soil is by stabilizing the soil by adding other materials, namely ceramic waste. Ceramic waste is an unused residual material that is usually found in building construction. This study aims to determine the effect of ceramic waste in stabilizing and increasing the bearing capacity of expansive clay with the percentage of adding ceramic waste to expansive clay, namely: 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%. The location for taking ceramic waste is in Rembon, Tana Toraja district and for expansive clay taking is in Tanete, Rembon District, Tana Toraja Regency. The test was carried out at the civil engineering laboratory of the Christian University of Indonesia Toraja. From the CBR (California Bearing Ratio) test, it was obtained for native soil (0%) = 1.12%, and for the addition of ceramic waste (5%) = 2.10%, for (10%) = 4.03%, for (15%) = 6.09% . The results showed that the addition of ceramic waste could increase the bearing capacity of expansive clay.Keywords: Expansive Clay Soil, Soil Stability, Ceramic Waste.

Abstract

The high cutting speed (Vc) and the varying depth of cut (a) made the tool life decrease. Machining variables are very influential on the tool life, namely cutting speed (Vc) which has a contribution of 13.36%, and depth of cut (a) which has a contribution of 68.56% to the tool life. The correlation value between tool life and the machining process variable is very significant, with the correlation value between the predictors obtained by R = 0.999.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the applications and student expenditure during the pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic caused the government through the Ministry of Education and Culture to announce teaching and learning activities carried out from home using the online method. There are several complaints with the use of online methods, one of which is opinion about the increase in fees for the purchase of data package pulses. The opinion said that student spending increased due to the purchase of data package pulses. This study tries to conduct a survey and analysis specifically comparing student costs before and after co-19. During a pandemic, students spend more credit than before the pandemic which is 10.8% on topping up. But it was revealed that spending on pandemic students was less than before the pandemic with the smallest percentage of 46.9%. While applications that are often used in online lecture methods are Google Classroom with 74.7%, Zoom 67%, and WAG 35.3%. It is hoped that this initial research can support and provide input to policy makers in education institutions during lectures during the pandemic.

Abstract

Selama 30 tahun terakhir, kemajuan dalam pembuatan manufaktur semi konduktor telah menghasilkan komputer yang lebih kecil dan lebih cepat. Kehadirannya menghasilkan pengembangan perangkat yang kompleks dan memproses data dalam jumlah besar dengan cepat dan handal. Semakin banyak fungsionalitas pada perangkat sistem, diperlukan mengelola sumber daya yang efektif dan efisien. Dalam beberapa kasus, hanya sistem operasi waktu nyata (RTOS) yang dapat memenuhi batasan waktu dan sumber daya dari sistem tersebut. Baik penggunaan software pada perangkat otomatisasi, atau level midleware untuk membantu berkomunikasi antar program, atau pengunaan perangkat lunak, akan bermanfaat untuk mengetahui kapan RTOS menggunakan platform yang tepat untuk aplikasi. Makalah ini dan fokus pada berbagai penelitian dan pengembangan RTOS selama sepuluh tahun terakhir yang terdapat di Indonesia. Tujuan utama adalah memungkinkan pembaca untuk memahami konsep dasar sistem operasi waktu nyata dan merangsang penelitian lebih lanjut di Indonesia mengenai sistem operasi waktu nyata pada perangkat otomatisasi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat penggunaan dermaga di Pelabuhan Tanjung Ringgit Palopo.Tingkat penggunaan dermaga di pelabuhan ditentukan berdasarkan nilai BOR (Berth Occupancy Ratio). Nilai BORdihitung berdasarkan arus kunjungan kapal yang menggunakan dermaga. Kinerja pelabuhan dinilai denganmembandingkan nilai BOR yang diperoleh dengan standar UNCTAD. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkatpenggunaan dermaga pelabuhan Tanjung Ringgit Palopo, pada tahun 2015 sampai tahun 2019 memiliki nilai rata-rataService Time 22,8 jam. Berth Occupancy Ratio tahun 2015 sampai tahun 2019 memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 32%. Nilaiini masih rendah dari nilai standar BOR yang disarankan oleh UNCTAD yaitu 55% untuk 3 (tiga) tambatan. Hal inimenunjukkan bahwa kesibukan di dermaga Pelabuhan Tanjung Ringgit belum begitu tinggi, yang berarti bahwa dermagaPelabuhan Tanjung Ringgit masih mampu melayani arus kapal dan barang dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungannilai BTP (Berth Throughput) dan kapasitas dermaga, tingkat penggunaan dermaga Pelabuhan Tanjung Ringgit masihdikategorikan baik, karena untuk 5 tahun terakhir kemampuan dermaga untuk melewatkan barang adalah rata-rata249.225 ton/tahun sedangkan arus barang hanya memiliki nilai rata-rata 150707 ton/tahun.

Pada saat nelayan berlayar untuk menangkap ikan pada waktu malam dan siang haridimana semua peralatannya dapat bertenaga surya Nelayan pada waktu melaut untuk mencari dan menangkap ikan selalummerugi karena sebagian besar ikan tangkapannya sudah tidak segar dan mulai membusuk ketika sampai di pelabuhanatau daratan. Ikan nelayan mereka harga menjadi murah dan ada yang tidak laku sehingga merugi. Metode pendinginanikan yang memanfaatkan energi Surya melalui panel Surya untuk membangkitkan energi listrik. Teknologi pendingin inisangat tepat untuk mendingikan ikan nelayan pada saat melaut karena mampu menghasikan temperatur mencapai suhuminus derajat Celcius yang mampu mejaga kualitas daging ikan, warna tetap cerah, nelayan bisa menghemat hematbiaya, tenaga, waktu, tempat dan meningkatkan nilai jual ikan nelayan.

Abstract

One of the problems that greatly affects the compressive strength of concrete is the presence of porosity, which is also influenced by the size and size of the cement water factor used. To reduce this problem, additives can be used to improve the strength performance of concrete, especially for high strength concrete, namely silica fume and superplasticizer.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding superplasticizer and silica fume as a partial substitute for cement on the compressive strength of high strength concrete. In this study an experimental method was used by testing a sample with a superplasticizer composition of 1% for all variations and the use of silica fume as a partial replacement for cement at 5%, 10%, and 15% of the weight of cement using a cylinder specimen of 15 cm diameter and 30 cm, f'c plan 40 MPa tested at the age of 28 days with treatment before testing In this study, the normal compressive strength of concrete at 28 days was 39.632 Mpa, for the addition of 1% superplasticizer and 5% silica fume f'c = 43.878 Mpa, and for the addition of 1% superplasticizer and 10% silica fume f'c = 44.161 Mpa. Then for the addition of 1% superplasticizer and 15% silica fume f'c = 46,992 Mpa. Based on these results, it shows that the addition of 1% superplasticizer and 15% silica fume as a substitute for some cement can increase the compressive strength of high quality concrete.

Abstract

The availability of road construction materials matching the design criteria and mixed features in terms of reliability is one of the success factors in road construction. The goal of this study is to understand whether Tondon Marante coarse aggregate in Hot Rolled Sheet Binder-Course mix and in Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mixture can be used as flexible pavement road material. This study was carried out by measuring the characteristic of Marshal using penetration asphalt 60/70 for Hot Rolled Sheet Binder-Course mixture on asphalt content variation of 6 percent, 6.5 percent, 7 percent, 7.5 percent, 8 percent and for Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mixture on bitumen content variation of 5 percent, 5.5 percent, 6.5 percent, 6.5 percent, 7 percent according to Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mixture on bitumen content variation. The results showed that Hot Rolled Sheet Binder-Course mixture's optimum asphalt content was 7 percent with a VIM value of 4.78 percent, VFB 74.32 percent, VMA 18.37 percent, Stability 894.83 kg, Flow 3.32 mm, MQ 269.22 kg / mm and 24 hours immersion index 94.05 percent, and Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mixture's optimum asphalt content is 6.5 percent with a VIM value of 3.83 percent. It is concluded that Tondon Marante coarse aggregate can be used as a versatile pavement road material in a mixture of Hot Rolled Sheet Binder-Course and Asphalt Concrete Binder-Course mix, based on the Marshal characteristic test that primarily meets the general specification of Bina Marga 2010 Revision 3 (Division 6) 'Asphalt Pavement'.

Abstract

Pada bangunan tinggi tahan gempa umumnya gaya – gaya pada kolom cukup besar untuk menahan beban gempa yang terjadi sehingga umumnya perlu menggunakan elemen – elemen struktur kaku berupa dinding geser untuk menahan kombinasi gaya geser, momen dan gaya aksial yang timbul akibat gempa. Dengan adanya dinding geser sebagian besar beban gempa akan terserap oleh dinding geser tersebut. Dinding geser adalah dinding yang dirancang untuk menahan geser atau gaya lateral akibat gempa bumi. Untuk merencanakan dinding geser ini menggunakan acuan SNI 2847:2013, untuk perencanaan gempanya menggunakan SNI 1726:2012 dengan menggunakan metode lateral ekivalen. Untuk perhitungan gaya-gaya yang pada struktur digunakan alat bantu SAP 2000. Dalam Perencanaan Dinding Geser ini diperoleh hasil data pekerjaan yaitu direncanakan dengan lebar. Lebar dinding geser (lw) = 550 cm. Tebal dinding geser, (tw) = 25 cm. Serta tulangan pada Dinding Geser. Tulangan vertikal atau tulangan longitudinal = 60 D 16. Tulangan horizontal atau tulangan transversal (sengkang) = Ø 12 -150. Tulangan horizontal atau tulangan transversal (sengkang) pada sendi plastis dan pada sambungan lewatan tulangan vertikal = Ø 12 -150. Sambungan lewatan, Id = 650 mm. Perbedaan hasil deformasi yang diperoleh yaitu bangunan yang tidak menggunakan dinding geser mengalami deformasi sebesar 0.047 mm dan bangunan yang menggunakan dinding geser mengalami deformasi sebesar 0.026 mm.
