Abstract

Jar (preposition) is a word that binds a word to another in a sentence. Thus, these words can be fully understood. Therefore, the jar has an important role in Arabic. In addition, the jar becomes one of the most commonly used words in everyday life. However, it has a uniqueness that to be known, in which the jar has a basic meaning on one side, and is also homonym on the other. Therefore, the jar is sometimes unintelligible based on its original meaning but with other meanings italso contains. These other meanings are present when the context or text of sentence is to be desired. This paper discuss variousmeanings of jar accompaniedby an emphasis on the basic meaning it has.

Abstract

To know how far lesson objectives are met, a teacher or an institution need to gather accurate information relating to the result of the learning process. Thesedata are normally obtained by using instruments such as tests, questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Assessment is all the methods used to collectinformation about the knowledge, ability, understanding, attitude, and motivation of the students that can be performed through tests or selfassessmentseither formally or informally. Test is a procedure that can be used to assess student’s performance. Test can be objective or subjective. To know students’ language ability, it should be obtained from an evaluation or a test using a proper instrument. This paper shall discuss how it should be conducted in evaluating Arabic skills covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Abstract

Jigsaw Comparative learning method is one of the special methods in the concentration of various knowledge disciplines of today. The process of learning and teaching requires adjustment in applying various methods to achieve maximum educational goals. The purpose of education will never be achieved unless by applying the correct and effective method. Therefore, "jigsaw" comparative learning methode aims to improve the ability of speaking (cooperative learning) ( ينواعتلا ملعتلا) which includes influential factors in the internal and external classification of the subject of learning to improve student skills. Through the method of "cooperative learning" can affect students in learning language proficiency in groups. The improvement of students' speaking ability seemed very encouraging after applying this method when a lecturer gave them the task of memorizing vocabulary and understanding the content of a particular text. Comparative learning of this "jigsaw" model really gives maximum influence to students in communicating with Arabic.

Abstract

Language is a mirror of civilization that is no exception for Arabic. Since the old Arabic have played a role in human civilization. In the age of globalization many challenges faced in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic. Even Arabic is a language that cannot be separated from Islam, but many Muslims who are not able to communicate in Arabic. In general the problems in developing the Arabic language to non-Arabs in addition to the lack of language environment that supports, also difficulty in getting teachers competent and professional, then it is hard to have good curriculum and tested, and the absence of interesting and creative methodology. Then the solution of all these problems, in addition to build active language, preparing teachers, curriculum, and methodology as needed, also expected the presence of international institutions that proactive in developing teaching Arabic language, as well as the Arab countries that act as donors for research in the development of teaching.

Abstract

Synonym is one of the most important linguistic phenomena in terms of the meanings of the words in terms of the impact of communication between people. Synonym issues were intertwined with the interest of scholars. They views differed, and their trends differed, including linguists, jurists, scholars and practitioners of Qur'anic sciences. For this, the learner must learn and know deeply about the synonyms in Arabic. This search of desktop research is a way of observing the various books. The results of the research are divided between supporters and opponents of the following: a team that agrees with tandem, but in tandem, a team that denies the existence of tandem in the language completely, a team that proves the tandem at all. The researcher is based on the existence of tandem in the Arabic language, but it is a tandem in the sense of convergence in meaning, on the basis that each word has a particular meaning and useful or special function in their use.
