Abstract

Organizations that use information technology in conventional and do not have confirmed information technology planning will be left behind by its competitors. Numerous studies illustrate the negative consequences of the absence of the IT strategy. Although important, it is believed many organizations do not have it. Likewise University of Technology Yogyakarta (UTY), an organization engaged in education. This paper begins by determining the priority needs of users of IT, then combine with environmental conditions and SWOT analysis of information technology to be analyzed and aligned with strategic business planning UTY. Researchers use DSS (Decision Support System) tools to facilitate in determining the priority needs of users. This research resulted in the proposed initial development of IT Strategic Plan in accordance with business strategy UTY. With the approach to the priority needs of users of IT then IT Strategic Plan can be realized immediately. This is according to the organization that did not have the IT Strategic Plan.

Abstract

Digital technology development requires an efficient and fast process, not only in the data transmission but also in the data saving. The digital image is one of the data which is commonly exchanged. However, image data with good quality has rather big size. So that they need to minimize data size to be efficient and fast is badly needed. One of the ways which can be done is to minimize the image data size is data compression. Data compression can be done by minimizing image data redundancy by minimizing the missing information in the digital image. This research proposed the mixing of Wavelet-Walsh, Quantization, and Fractal Coding Transformation Methods to compress image data greyscale so that it has a smaller size but still with good image quality. The test result showed that the average Compression Ratio is 1.32 with the decent reconstruction image result quality that is average value PSNR = 43.31 dB

Abstract

Hospitals have diverse information/application systems, such as patient information systems, clinical information systems, laboratory information systems, radiology information systems, pharmaceutical systems, patient registration applications and other information systems. With the implementation of the integration between systems, it will provide the benefits obtained, namely a fast and accurate reporting process, facilitate operational services, establish effective communication between entities, facilitate access to patient information and up-to-date medical knowledge. However, there is still very little integration between information systems within the hospital environment. A study said only 34.78% of hospitals in the Semarang area and 36.62% of hospitals in the Yogyakarta area had already integrated between existing systems. Considering the many benefits obtained from integration, therefore it is necessary to identify the inhibiting factors in the integration process. The method used is to review some of the literature relating to hospital integration in Indonesia. The literature search is done with the Google search engine. The keywords used are the integration of health services and the integration of hospital information systems. The literature chosen is literature that discusses integration in Indonesia, while the literature that discusses the situation outside Indonesia is not included. After getting the literature, then the categorization of the factors that inhibit or cause various information systems in the hospital are not integrated. The results obtained are two factors that most influence the integration process between systems, namely standardization, human resources, leader and finance.

Abstract

Research in the processing of the data is the data shows that the larger Increasingly requires a longer time. Processing of huge amounts of data on a single computer has limitations that can be Overcome by parallel processing. This study utilized the MapReduce programming model synchronization by duplicating data, data from database client to database server. MapReduce is a programming model that was developed to speed up the processing of large data. MapReduce application models on the training process performed on the data sharing that is adapted to the number of sub-process (thread) and data entry into the database server and display data from the synchronization process. The experiments were performed using 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000 data, and use the thread as much as 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 threads. The results of this process showed that the use of the MapReduce programming model can result in faster but require a longer time to create many threads. The results of use MapReduce programming model can provide more efficiency time in processing synchronizing data, both on a single database or a distributed database

Abstract

Ripeness identification of red dragon fruit using conventional methods has a lack of ripeness accuracy, due to the subjective nature of the election or lack of understanding of science in choosing a ripe red dragon fruit. This research was conducted to create a system to identify the ripeness level of red dragon fruit using artificial neural networks backpropagation method with image processing. The stages of the research are 4 steps process, namely preprocessing, training, testing carried out in Matlab and predictions made on the Android system. The data used are 30 images of red dragon fruit which have different levels of ripeness, 10 raw categories, 10 ripe categories, and 10 categories too ripe. the results of the identification of each of the 20 raw dragon fruit images, ripe, and too ripe, can recognize 100% in raw category, 100% in ripe category, and 85% in too ripe category

Abstract

This research will discuss a web-based stroke therapy model to display examples of online therapeutic movements. This therapy is expected to help the patient's attendant to perform the therapy independently. The attendant must consult with a physiotherapist/doctor to determine the appropriate therapy. This research is motivated by the results of focus group discussions with physiotherapy to get a positive response and an acceptable value of 80%. Results of focus group discussions suggest for mobile-based development of the model. Based on these suggestions, the design of the model in this study will be developed based on the web. A web-based application is expected to simplify the distribution process of expert system models for non-pharmacological stroke therapy tools.

Abstract

Transportation is the process of distributing products from source to destination. Transportation problems are special cases of network optimization method where the numbers of goods distributed from sources to destinations are optimized thereby minimizing transportation costs. The increasing number of sources and destinations results in complex calculations of the distribution process. The methods to find optimal solutions in determining the number of goods distributed with the aim of minimizing costs have been proposed. Comparative methods have been carried out and obtain optimal solutions. The result shows that the algorithm of the Allocation Table Method has shown better performance compared to previous methods such as Least Cost Method, Vogel Approximation Method dan North West Corner Method. Yet, a more complex transportation network needs a calculation method to seek for solutions. The aim of the study was to implement the algorithm of the Allocation Table Method as a method to seek solutions in a system designed to support problem-solving. The tryout conducted on several cases has shown that the Allocation Table Method is a leading method in finding optimal solutions for transportation problems involving multi-sources and multi destinations.

Abstract

Competitive competition and the advent of the global marketplace becomes its own challenges, these challenges are associated with getting products and services are timely and low cost. Resolution to face both these things one of which with the application of Supply Chain Management (SCM). SCM is very effective for use in addressing the supply chain and securing competitive advantage and improves organizational performance not only within the Organization but the Organization among the supply chain. SCM will be used to provide the information the State of the stocks of raw materials and will be enabled as a reminder (reminder) and the order of the raw materials to the supplier by using Massage Passing or SMS Gateway. Model SCM is expected to control the inventory of goods, either overstock or stocks that are already able to save stock with time quickly and efficiently.

Abstract

Steganography technique is the art of hiding information in the carrier media to prevent humans from detecting messages or confidential information inside the carrier media. Nowadays steganography has become one of the solutions for information security and confidentiality. This paper applies steganography to hide the text messages into digital color images based on the RGB color model which is also used as a non-secret message. There are two proposed schemes namely the embedding scheme and the extraction scheme by applying the LSB (Least Significant Bit) and triple XOR operation techniques to the binary value of MSB (Most Significant Bit). In addition, a statistical analysis was carried out to measure the quality and difference between the cover image and stego-image by calculating the MSE (Mean Square Error) and PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) values.
