Abstract

The objective of this researchwas to analyze the influence of Leadership Style, Work Atmosphere, and Career Development on Teacher Performance.The object of this research is teacher at SMAN I GambiranBanyuwangi. Type of this research was quantitative causality. Respondents who were samples in this research were 51 teachers consisting of 44 civil servant teachers and 7 non-civil servant teachers. Data analysis tool used in this research was doubled linear regression. Technically, SPSS software version 2.2 was used to analyze the data. Respondents were 51 teachers consisting of civil servant and non-civil servant teachers. The results showed that the leadership style, work atmosphere and teacher career development partially affect the improvement of teacher performance. From the analysis result, three variables simultaneously also affect the performance of teachers. While of the three independent variables studied, the dominant variablewhich affects teacher performance was the principal leadership style. The results of this researchreinforced previous studies which state that leadership style is a very important variable in improving performance. The implications of this research showed that to improve teacherperformance, the principal needed to have a leadership style which is appropriate to the character of the organization he leaded. A supportive working environment would help teachers feel comfortable and secure so that their performance improves. Similarly career development needed to be planned so that teachers had the motivation to improve performance in the long termand it would be the capital to fulfill the expectations in their career development. The advice was given to improve career development performance in SMAN 1 GAMBIRAN is by develop the principal leadership style by the improvement of task oriented stye to support the implementation of the curiculum instead.

Abstract

This article research entitled " Financial compensation has a huge impact to NonPermanent Teacher’s working productivity (GTT) in SMP N 2 Jember". This study attemps to analyze and examine the impact and the effect of financial compensation on the level of productivity of Non-Permanent Teachers (GTT) of SMP N 2 Jember, either simultaneously or partially. This research belongs to explanatory research survey. The location of this research is SMP N 2 Jember. The Independent variable in this study is financial compensation (X) which consist of salary (X1), courses allowances (X2) and overtime wages (X3), while the dependent variable in this is work productivity of employee (Y). The Population in this research are all non permanent teachers (GTT) at SMP N 2 Jember which also become the sample. To analize the data, the researcher uses SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 10. Based on the results of the data, it is known that financial compensation (salary, courses allowances and overtime wages) are significant and has a very important role to incourage the productivity of Non-Permanent Teachers (GTT) in SMP Negeri 2 Jember either partially or simultaneously. In the partial test results which were proved by the score of t-count of each independent variable that are salary, courses allowances and overtime wages are higher than its t-table, so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. The effective contribution of the three variable financial compensation (salary, courses allowances and overtime wages) to the productivity of Non-Permanent Teachers (GTT) in SMP Negeri 2 Jember is also very large at 96.0% in the courses allowances variable as the most dominant variable. The conclusion is there are strong and significant impact of financial compensation towards work productivity of non permanent teachers in SMP N 2 Jember. So that to increase the work productivity, hence financial compensation must be balanced and must be improved also.

Abstract

The purpose of this researchwasto identify and analyze the aspects of Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG, in Indonesian language is Penilaian Kinerja Guru) on teacher’s performance. The hypothesis of this researchreads the aspects of teacher performance assessment (PKG) partially significant effect on teacher’s performance. The population in this researcharecivil servant teachers of SMKN 2Jember. This research used a Simple Random Samplingtechniquesince the sampling was done randomly without regarding to strata contained in the population and the whole population are teachers of SMKN 2 Jember. The samples in this researchare71civil servant teachers in SMKN 2 Jember. Data collection methods used in this research are observation, interview, questionnaires and documentation. The implications of the findings of this study may contribute to the development of science and for practitioners. The result of this research was to improve the teacher’s performance, then the aspects of PKG should be improved. This was in accordance with the concept of human resources. Some suggestions can be given was the results of this study indicate that aspects of the Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG) gave significant effect on performance partially.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the influence of organizational climate, fatigue, stress and motivation on the performance of lecturers in STIE Widya Gama Lumajang. Likewise to know which variable between organizational climate, job burnout, stress and motivation that has dominant influence on the performance of STIE Widya Gama Lecturer in Lumajang. So, it can be used as reference materials for research in the field of human resource management, especially for improving the performance of lecturers. Based on the analysis of each variable has fulfilled a standard rate of 5% significance. Therefore, the results also showed the Organization Climate should be developed so that the leader is able to provide a conducive climate of organizational effectiveness communication policy level and the level of participation of lecturer has been good. As for variable of motivation identifies the average lecturer’s needs provided by STIE Widya Gama Lumajang is still less for daily needs while the performance of lecturers have not been able to utilize the time as well as if there is a time that is loose and loose so that the utilization of time in work cannot be used maximally. And what needs to be noted is that the issue of devotion to society needs to be clearly defined and well organized.

Abstract

This research aims to know and analyze the influence of leadership and the awardsystem to performance through work motivation. The subjectsof this research are theemployees of Technical Implementation Unit for Services Revenue East Java province allordinate of Probolinggo that consist of 77 people.This research uses explanatory research. As the independent variable is leadership (X1)and award system (X2), the intervening variableis work motivation (Y1), and thedependent variable is performance (Y2). Analyses of the data used are validity andreliability, the classic assumption test, the suitability of the model test and path analysis.The result shows that the leadership has a significant effect on work motivation, rewardsystems have a significant effect on work motivation, leadership does not significantlyinfluence the performance, reward systems have a significant effect on performance, andwork motivation has significant effect on performance.The coefficient of determination (R2) for path model is 0.9841 or 98.41% in the form of apercentage. It means the diversity of data that can be explained in this study is 98.41%.The information contained in the data amounted to 98.41% can be explained by the pathmodel. While the rest of 1.59% are explained by other variables which arenot examinedin this study.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of leadership, discipline and motivation on the performance, as well as to find out which of the leadership, discipline and motivation are the dominant influence on performance. The subjects in this study are members of Lumajang Police Force Sabhara totaling 63 people.This research uses explanatory research. As independent variables, namely leadership, discipline and motivation, and the dependent variable is the performance. Analysis of the data used are validity and reliability, the classic assumption test, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.The results showed that the leadership has a significant effect on performance, discipline significant effect on performance, motivation significant effect on the performance and motivation of the dominant influence on performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) is equal to 0,795. This means that 79.50% of performance can be explained by the leadership, discipline and motivation. While the rest of 20,50% performance is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
