Artikel atau naskah diterbitkan dalam bentuk cetak dan online. Untuk versi online, Kepariwisataan: Jurnal Ilmiah sudah terindeks Google Schoolar dan Garuda. Kepariwisataan: Jurnal Ilmiah pertama kali terbit pada bulan Januari 2007 dan diterbitkan dalam 3 (tiga) edisi setiap tahunnya, yaitu diterbitkan setiap bulan Januari, Mei dan September.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the strategy of preserving the Jamasan Pusaka Suroloyo tradition as a traditional cultural asset in Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. The research method uses qualitative research and data analysis uses SWOT analysis. This research was conducted in September-October 2019. Based on the research conducted, researchers found that the preservation of the Jamasan Pusaka tradition in Suroloyo is the only Jamasan Pusaka tradition in Kulon Progo. The Jamasan Pusaka tradition in Suroloyo is held at the Suroloyo Peak Tourism Object on the 1st of Suro. In an effort to preserve the Jamasan tradition, it can be said that the community still carries out this tradition today. In addition, managers and the community have played an important role in the Jamasan Pusaka Tradition and the Government has been very helpful in preserving the Jamasan Pusaka Tradition.Keywords: Jamasan Pusaka Tradition, Preservation, Tourism Culture, SWOT Analysis

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a major impact on the tourism sector in DIY which causes material losses to Regional Original Income (PAD). This study aims to describe changes in the tourism sector in the conditions before the pandemic, during the pandemic, and the new normal. The results showed that the tourism sector during the pandemic and the new normal era must implement (1) health protocols for the tourism industry such as hotels, restaurants, tourist destinations, and transportation for both visitors and employees by paying attention to cleanliness, health and safety (cleanliness, health, and safety) by providing hygiene facilities such as hand washing and soap, hand sanitizers, and temperature checks with a thermo gun. The hotel even provides isolation rooms for visitors with corona symptoms, (2) Payment using electronic money (cashless). (3) Limiting the number of visitors to prevent crowds and provide a safe distance to minimize spread, and (4) Tourist locations are opened gradually by prioritizing low-risk areas such as natural and mountainous areas.Keywords: Tourism, Covid-19, New Normal, Health Protocol

Abstract

The diversity of Sikka culture is reflected in the art of weaving that is a symbol of the great tribal and indigenous people of Sikka that need to be lifted to the surface and be preserved. The method that the authors use in this research is a qualitative method. The diversity of woven fabric in the Sikka district has a different meaning and meaning not only to art, but it has also considered a social, religious, cultural,and economic symbol. With the growth of many young generation which have begun to ignore the culture woven into the fabric. The need for cooperation between government, weavers, and community inside preserve of weaving culture and preserving culture heritage is not lost in the ingestion of the era.Keywords: Ikat Sikka Weaving, Tourism Culture, SWOT Analysis

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management system of the Sikasur Savannah tourist destination with special interest. This research is a qualitative study using nonprobability sampling techniques, then the data is analyzed using SWOT. The results of this research can be obtained strategies that can be used to manage this tourist spot. The strategies obtained are: (1) Forming an organization that involves the participation of the surrounding community to be trained especially in the field of language so that they are ready to face tourists from outside the region; (2) Adding facilities that do not exist and completing facilities that are lacking so that promotional activities can run smoothly; (3) Add facilities that are felt to be lacking so that they are not left behind by similar types of tourism; (4) Conducting training for the community to later form a special organization so that they can participate in management so that their development becomes smoother; (5) Packaging Sikasur Savannah tourism objects better so that all tourists are interested in visiting.Keywords: Sikasur Savannah, Special Interest Tourism, SWOT Analysis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of Matantimali tourism objects and constraints faced in the management of Matantimali. the writing of this Scientific Article is presented in a descriptive qualitative manner to provide an overview and information about Matantimali tourism objects. Methods of collecting data using observation, interviews, documents, and questionnaires. the data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively and presented descriptively. The results of the study indicate that Matantimali tourism objects have potential but the lack of funds is one of the obstacles so that this potential has not been widely developed. The management of Matantimali tourism objects is currently still managed by the local community because of the absence of regulations with the local government. With sufficient human resources plus the right education and management Matantimali will be beneficial for improving the economy of the surrounding community.Keywords: Tourism Development, Tourism Management, Tourism Attraction

Abstract

Cilacap is one of the districts in Central Java that has tourism potential with various tourism destination. One of them is Waduk Kubangkangkung. This Waduk Kubangkangkung is a tourism destination that offers beautiful natural tourism and also attractive tourism attraction. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the local community in Waduk Kubangkangkung development, knowing the manager‘s efforts in developing Waduk Kubangkangkung as a sustainable tourism destination, and finding the development strategy of Waduk Kubangkangkung to attract tourists. While the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and SWOT analysis. The results of this study are the need for collaboration between managers and other stakeholders towards Waduk Kubangkangkung, improve promotion and also facilities that needed by tourists.Keywords: Sustainable Development, Tourism Destination, SWOT
