Abstract

This study reported the discovery and identification of behavioral syndrome of students’ indiscipline in teaching and learning process. For this purpose, researcher used qualitative approach of phenomenology. The study involved 9 subjects determined by purposive sampling for the phenomenon of indiscipline were more dominated by those subjects. Four techniques have been used to collect the data: participation-observation, in-depth interviews, field notes, and documentation. The results indicated that the behavioral syndrome of indiscipline is influenced by premature (imature) self-concept, determination of multidimensional environment, keeping and building a societal relationship in communities, as well as teachers’ attitude and behavior as a direct model. Therefore, teachers should give the exemplary cognition, affection, psychomotor, as well as should be truthful and orderly socially so that the students’ behaviour of indiscipline can be reduced to a good quality of learning.

Abstract

The core of the study was focused on the factors which affect service satisfaction, it includes the organizational climate and administrative performance. Based on this matter, the main problem revealed in this research was the measurement of organization climate and school administration performance’s contribution toward the satisfaction of academic service. The results showed: (1) organizational climate, was in the already good category. (2) Administrative performance, was in the high category. (3) The satisfaction of academic service, was in high enough category. (4) The results of relationship analysis showed that both variables have a positive and significant relationship. Recommendations given to schools was to improve the quality of school administration in relation to the quality assurance of academic services at public vocational schools in Palangkaraya.

Abstract

Principal leadership in building the school and family ties in the education of children in schools through a parenting program is important and Necessary to support and encourage the growth and development of children. Parenting programs in early childhood meant that children's education is not only the responsibility of the school but rather a shared responsibility. The purpose of this study is: know the principal's leadership in implementing parenting programs; forms of parenting programs implemented in early childhood education institutions. This study was designed with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documents. The results Showed that the principal's leadership played a psycho-religious educators. In managerial principal's plan, implement, establish relationships, and conduct monitoring and evaluation of the parenting program. In the application of parenting found 5 program include: the group of parent meetings; the involvement of parents in the group; Parental involvement in the event together; the consultation of parents; and home visits.

Abstract

Services to internal customers have not been a focus of attention in school. Services to internal customers are not the main priority. These conditions encourage the deficient optimal in vocational education services to external customers. The purpose of research is to identify the strategic framework in the development of human resources development to realize the performance of services for customers Internal. The research is using descriptive type survey. The results showed that teachers and staff received deficient attention. Based on the framework strategy which is owned by the primary focus is fulfill the internal customers need through increased critical awareness and values fundamental individual value commitment to vocational education.

Abstract

The background of this study focuses on the influence of madrasah aliyah climate on its productivity in West Bandung regency. The purpose of the study is to illustrate: 1) madrasah climate in West Bandung regency 2) the influence of Madrasah Climate on the productivity of madrasah aliyah in West Bandung regency. The research method is using descriptive method with questionnaire collecting technique toward 187 certified teachers spread in madrasah that have accreditation A and B. The description of research result indicates that Madrasah Climate is in good category or quite high and the madrasah climate has a positive effect on its productivity.

Abstract

This research is to study the moral leadership among heads of department at selected private institution in Klang Valley. The first objectives of this study are to determine the level of effectiveness of moral leadership; the second objective is to identify the domain attribute of moral leadership among heads of department at selected private institutions in Klang Valley. To answer the research objectives, questionnaires were distributed to 260 academic and administrative staff at two selected private institutions in Klang Valley.  The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 21. The descriptive statistical methods, such as percentage, mean and standard deviation, were used to identify the effectiveness and to find the dominant attributes of moral leadership among heads of department. The findings showed that the effectiveness and the dominant attribute of moral leadership among heads of department are high level for trustworthiness and communication dominants with the mean for both dominants are more than 3.50, while for criticism and dissent, fairness, employee’s development, empowerment and employee’s job performance in average level when the mean is below than 3.00. This research implication indicates that, it is importance for heads of department to practice and implemented moral leadership in their leadership styles to achieve the goals of the institutions.
