Abstract

The development of learning materials from handout by Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted comics to straight motion of creative thinking skills with valid, practical, and effective has been done. The research and development method is implemented in this work. The 4-D development model was used consist of define, design, development, and disseminate. In the define phase, it was done curriculum, student, and material analysis. In the design phase, it was done by designing learning materials the from handout assisted comics by PBL comprise  learning instructional such as lesson plan (RPP), handout, and assessment. In the development phase, test of validity, practicality, and the effectivity of handout were done. Then in the disseminate phase, test of practicalities and effectiveness were done. The result of the study in the define phase about students was obtained that level of creative thinking skills of students of class X IPA 2 are in the low category. The analysis of material was obtained straight motion. In the design phase, it was obtained initial draft of handout by PBL assisted comics that consist of RPP, handout, and assessment. In the development phase, it was obtained handout by PBL assisted comics which has valid criteria (0,86), practically criteria (94%), and effective for cognitive creative thinking skills aspect (76%), effective in improving creative thinking skills (79%) are in the category of very creative, the category character becomes a habit (86%), and skill was (87%). In the disseminate phase, it was obtained   effective for cognitive creative thinking skills aspect (76,9%), effective in improving creative thinking skills (78,4%) are in the category of very creative, the category character becomes a habit (84%), and skill was (81,9%).

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made at SMA N 5 Sungai Penuh known that in the mathematics learning process students do not understand the learning material well, the ability of students to develop material concepts and solve problems in the form of practice questions given by the teacher is still lacking, students are lacking of self-confidence to ask if there is material that has not been understood, students also cannot develop their thinking ideas creatively. This means that the ability to think creatively and critically of students has not developed optimally. The specific purpose of this research is to develop and produce teaching materials in the form of mind mapping-based modules for learning mathematics, which are valid, practical and effective and can increase students' motivation, activities and learning outcomes, especially in the material opportunities. This development research consists of four stages, namely; the define stage, the design stage, the develop stage and the disseminate stage. The validation results with the valid category indicated by an average value of 76%. The practicality results with the practical category are shown by an average value of 75.3%. Effectiveness results with the effective category in terms of the aspects of activity, student motivation, and from the aspect of achievement of learning outcomes.

One parenting that is often used is authoritarian parenting, in which parent’s tom much impose his will on the child as desired. This makes children become depressed so that the proximity of the child with parents rift or loose. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implications of parenting conditions and its various characteristics in building closeness between parents and children.

Abstract

The rapid development of 4IR in Malaysia has revolutionized the way of learning. Whole world is promoting electronic learning (e-Learning) as a new method to enhance the learning activities. The campaign continues to hike up when the world was shaken by the COVID19 pandemic, which caused most of the learning centre to close and force classes to be implemented completely online. Hence, this situation introduces the style of studying through mobile phone using the internet known as m-Learning. Although those two styles has been introduced for some time now at Politeknik Malaysia, there is no research conducted to measure the readiness of e-Learning and m-Learning within its context. As such, the aim of this study is to assess the lecturers' readiness in two politeknik namely; Politeknik A and Politeknik B. A total of 140 respondents were collected from using an online survey. A five-point Likert scale that demonstrated degrees of the agreement was applied to capture the lecturers' perceptions on their readiness for these two style learning. The results attained from this particular assessment can be used as some sort of guidelines for further development of e-Learning environment in Politeknik Malaysia.
