Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze: 1) to know the history of socio-intellectual establishment of Bayt al-Hikmah 2) to determine the collection of books Greece in Bayt al-Hikmah 3) to determine the translation inBayt al-Hikmah and 4) to determine the theme -theme works translated in Bayt al-Hikmah. This researchuses qualitative research data collection is done through library research (library research) using historicaland sociological approach. The results of this study show that: 1) social and intellectual history of the establishmentof Bayt al-Hikmah, politically supported their stand family of Barmak-Persians, religiously at thistime the strong flow of Mu’tazila then to the development of government science and society have the samevision 2) the collection of books Greece in Bayt al-Hikmah can be done in various ways, among others, sentenvoys Islam to a foreign country and buy it as Constantinople, the result of the conquest of a country such asByzantium and Persia, also taking jizya (tax payments) were sometimes must be paid to book 3) Translatingin Bayt al-Hikmah done in two steps. The first foreign-language manuscripts translated into the language ofancient Syria and then in the second stage was translated into Arabic. Additionally translators provide Ta’liq(comment) on these books and writing such as context-adjust, enhance and correct any errors shortage. 4)The themes of the works translated in Bayt al-Hikmah are generally preferred in practical science such asmedicine, mathematics, astrology, astronomy and philosophy derived from Plato as Thatetus, Aristotle asCategoriae, Hellenism Roman as Poimandres and Neo-Platonism like Enneads and many more.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) untuk mengetahui sejarah sosial-intelektual pendirianBayt al-Hikmah 2) untuk mengetahui pengumpulan buku-buku Yunani di Bayt al-Hikmah dan 3)untuk mengetahui penerjemahan di Bayt al-Hikmah dan 4) untuk mengetahui tema-tema karyayang diterjemahkan di Bayt al-Hikmah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulandata dilakukan melalui riset kepustakaan (libarary research) dengan menggunakan metode sejarahdan pendekatan sosiologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Sejarah sosial-intelektualpendirian Bayt al-Hikmah, secara politis berdiri didukung adanya keluarga Barmak-orang-orangPersia, secara agama pada masa ini kentalnya aliran Mu’tazilah kemudian untuk pengembanganilmu pengetahuan pemerintah dan masyarakat memiliki visi yang sama 2) Pengumpulan bukubukuYunani di Bayt al-Hikmah dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara antara lain mengirim utusanIslam ke negeri asing dan membelinya seperti Konstatinopel, hasil penaklukan sebuah negara sepertiByzantium dan Persia, juga pengambilan jizyah (pembayaran pajak) yang terkadang wajib dibayardengan buku 3) Penerjemahan di Bayt al-Hikmah dilakukan dengan dua langkah. Pertama manuskrip-manuskrip berbahasa asing diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Syiria kuno kemudian pada tahapkedua diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Arab. Selain itu penerjemah memberikan ta’liq (komentar)terhadap kitab-kitab tersebut serta menukilnya seperti menyesuaikan konteks, menyempurnakankekurangan dan mengoreksi setiap kesalahan. 4) Tema-tema karya yang diterjemahkan di Baytal-Hikmah secara umum lebih diutamakan pada ilmu praktis seperti kedokteran, matematika,astrologi, astronomi dan filsafat yang berasal dari karya Plato seperti Thatetus, Aristoteles sepertiCategoriae, Hellenisme Romawi seperti Poimandres dan Neo-Platonisme seperti Enneads.

Abstract

Abstrak: This study aims to analyze: 1) the implementation multicultural education in the subject ofIslamic Religion Education in Rakyat independent Junior High School Sei Glugur district PancurBatu. 2) the constraints of Islamic Religion Education in implementing the multicultural education inthe lessons of Islamic Religion Education in Rakyat independent Junior High School Sei Glugurdistrict Pancur Batu. 3) the efforts of Islamic Religion Education in implementing the multiculturaleducation in the lessons of Islamic Religion Education in Rakyat independent Junior High SchoolSei Glugur district Pancur Batu. This type of research is qualitative with a narrative approach, namelyresearch procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or oral words of observedbehavior. The results of the study show that: 1) Implementation of the planting of multicultural educationin the subject of Islamic Religion Education at the peoples private junior high school by providinggood examples of teachers about interrelated by not discriminating between students who are onlywith others students. 2) Related to the challenges that were issued by the public private junior highschool Islamic Religion Education teacher Sei Glugur in implementing the multicultural education,namely: Lack of awareness of students in good fighting, Lack of support for parents of students, Lackof media that can be visited, No need for values images multicultural advocates, and the difficulty ofdetermining the time to disseminate multicultural values from experts needed from outside the schoolfor all students. 3) Efforts of Islamic Religion Education in implementing the multicultural education inSei Glugur Pancur Batu private middle school are as follows equalizing the majority and contributing,minimizing conflicts in school for the purpose, mission and purpose of the school, so that teachers aremore proficient in complaint plan learning and decision method/ strategy decisions.
