Abstract

Poverty is the main problem and complex for every country including Indonesia. APS (Angka Partisipasi Sekolah) percentage of Indonesia is declining in the higher education. It causes the quality of the next generation to become low and trapped in a cycle of poverty. In order to accelerate poverty reduction, starting is implementing Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). The different criterias that are used, make the companion staff find it difficult to determine the priority components of RTM (Rumah Tangga Miskin) that become PKH participants. This study aims to determine the priority of the RTM component that can be used by everyone, espesially for the PKH companion staff to be on target. The method used is the AHP method to overcome the priority criteria, which will then be sorted from the highest to the lowest, by testing 100 family data of prospective recipients of PKH assitance, obtained 95 data on families who are eligible to receive PKH assistance and 5 data on families who are not eligible to receive PKH.

Abstract

Pematangsiantar City is one of the regions in Indonesia which has a land area of ​​79.97 KM2. the office of the National Land Affairs Agency is a non-ministerial government institution in Indonesia that has the task of carrying out government duties in the land sector in the city of Pematangsiantar and providing land certificates for the community. A system for predicting the need for blank soil certificates using the Artificial Neural Network method is a method that is able to perform a mathematical process to predict the need for blank certificates for soil certificates using the backpropagation algorithm for data processing implemented with matlab. Data were collected through direct observation and grouped based on the annual need for blango factors. The results obtained from the test are the performance and epoch values ​​where each architecture is not the same. The test results are displayed in the form of a graph comparing the target value with the training and testing process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the flood vulnerability in the Mandailing Natal Regency. In this study, researchers used the Artificial Neural Network method with the Backprogation algorithm. Artificial neural network method is a method that is able to perform mathematical processes to predict flood-prone areas with backprogation algorithms for data management that is applied by matlap. The data source used is direct observation in the area of Mandailing Natal Regency. The data will be managed based on flood disasters that occur every year. The results obtained from the test are performance and epoch values where each architecture is not the same, the test results are displayed in the form of a graph comparing the target value with the training and testing process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the developed problem-based learning model-oriented learning tools, 2) the improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities by using the developed problem-based learning model-oriented learning tools, 3) the student's answer process in solve mathematical problem solving through the developed learning model oriented problem-based learning tools. This research is a development research with the Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel development models. The subjects in this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan. From the results of trial I and trial II obtained: 1) the learning device developed meets the valid criteria; learning tools developed meet practical criteria; learning tools developed meet the criteria for being effective; 2) there is an increase in the ability to solve mathematical problems using the developed learning tools; 3) the student's answer process in trial II was better than trial I.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Guided-discovery learning model with a scientific approach assisted by GeoGebra software and student attitudes in learning mathematics on the topic of Geometry. This type of research is applied research. The population of this study were high school students and the sample of this study were students of class XII. The results of this study indicate that: the application of the Guided-discovery learning model with the scientific approach assisted by GeoGebra software on the topic of Geometry will be effective in teaching students, the application of the Guided-discovery learning model with the scientific approach assisted by GeoGebra software on the topic of Geometry will make students positive in learning mathematics

Abstract

Along with the development of Information Technology which is growing rapidly and its wide application to business aspects or fields, information technology has also been widely used by industries or other organizations. Its utilization aims to facilitate users and provide efficiency in a business field in carrying out its activities. Of the many assets currently in the company and the fast transfer of assets from one branch to another, it requires us to optimally be able to carry out a good and clear traceability process. So that existing assets remain well monitored. From the facts, many companies or offices still carry out recording company assets manually using paper or books using the manual logbook method which will result in all asset transactions being recorded in the logbook manually, starting from receipt of asset purchases, asset transfer, depreciation. assets and also asset sales. From these problems, the researcher proposes research as an alternative solution in the form of a web system application building design to replace the function of notebook assets or what is called the Asset Management System Application using a Structured, Design Method, PHP and MYSQL-based approach with website-based application development. The results achieved are expected to be able to improve efficiency and existing rights in managing company assets quickly when managed, the results of this study can also help companies record the depreciation process for their assets, record new assets purchased, manage new and old assets, and the history of asset transfers from one user to another and from one place to another.

Abstract

Stock out and cito occur because there is no stability between demand for the availability of drugs, it is necessary to control the supply of antibiotics at the Pharmacy Installation of RSU Haji Medan. The purpose of this study is to find out the number of reordering each antibiotic drugs. This research is hold in Pharmacy Installation of RSU Haji Medan. From the results, Always Better Control analysis method showed 63,5% of type A antibiotics, 25,8% of type B antibiotics, and 10,7% of type C antibiotics from the total budgeted users of antibiotics. With the Economic Order Quantity method, the quantity of antibiotic drugs ordered to be optimum includes type A from 2-95 items, type B from 1-107 items, and type C from 0-269 items. With Reorder Point analysis method, the reordered antibiotic drugs included type A from 5-339 items, type B from 1-107 items, and type C from 5-159 items

Abstract

Lecturers as educators are required to be more sensitive to technological developments, but not a few lecturers do not understand the techniques of using and teaching using technology, as a result students feel disadvantaged due to the inability of lecturers to utilize technology, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Qualitative research is an inquiry strategy that emphasizes the search for meaning, understanding, concepts, characteristics, symptoms, symbols, and descriptions of a phenomenon, is focused and multimethods, natural and holistic, prioritizes quality, uses several ways, and is presented in a narrative. This type of research is field research, which is research conducted by going directly to the field (through online) to explore and research data relating to emotional intelligence. That related to the readiness of Human Resources with teaching during the Covid-19 Pandemic which was carried out online, lecturers understand this condition and try to teach online as well as possible, even though there is limited knowledge in operating these devices, this is not a major obstacle. . The main obstacle for lecturers is the difficulty in knowing the level of understanding of students on the material presented during the class. Regarding the implementation of learning during the pandemic, all lecturers teach online by utilizing available platforms, whether paid or not, this indicates that lecturers understand the importance of continuous learning even during a pandemic period.

Abstract

Documents that have a digital signature are intended to validate where the data comes from. Digital signature can be done through encryption. The algorithm that is usually used for a digital signature on a document file is the Message Digest (MD5) algorithm which is also a hash function. And it is necessary to do the security and authenticity of the Digital signature on the document file so that it is not easily manipulated by others. The method that suits this problem is to use an algorithm that is usually used to create digital signatures, namely the MD5 algorithm which is a hash algorithm of the MD5 type or direction to get the value. hash is 128 bits long. The MD5 algorithm can be used to check data integrity, create digital signatures on document files and others. A digital signature of the security and authenticity of the document file there is also a hash function in the journal entitled Implementing the MD5 algorithm for document security. By using a one-way hash function, it will generate a message Digest from the original message. Developed from the MD5 algorithm developed by Ron Rivest, accepting input messages of various lengths and generating a 128-bit hash code it has become one of the most widely used hash algorithms. This algorithm is basically made for the security and authenticity of digital signatures in document files, the hash function cannot answer all existing problems such as confidentiality issues.

Abstract

One of the important things to ensure the confidentiality of data or information is encryption. Encryption uses an algorithm that can encode all bit streams of a message, skipjack is a 64-bit electronic codebook algorithm. The parameters used for encryption are 80-bit keys, and have 32 rounds for the encryption and decryption process. This algorithm can be used in one of the four modes specified in FIPS 81 for use in the Data Encryption Standard (DES). The algorithm that will be used for cryptography is said to be safe if it meets three criteria. The three criteria are the mathematical equations used must be complex, so that the algorithm is difficult to solve analytically, the cost used to solve the ciphertext exceeds the value of the information, and the time required to decipher the ciphertext exceeds the length of the information time. The strength of any encryption algorithm depends on its ability to withstand attacks. which is intended to determine the key or uncrypted communication. Broadly speaking, there are two types of attacks, namely brute-force and shortcuts. Therefore, in this paper we will discuss the extent to which the skipjack algorithm guarantees the security of hidden information.
