Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of customer reviews on increasing product sales on the Shopee e-commerce platform. The background of this research is based on the rapid growth of internet users and online shopping trends in Indonesia, which have driven the expansion of digital commerce activities. This research employs a quantitative approach using survey and literature study methods. The study was conducted in Bandar Lampung City with 50 respondents who are active Shopee users that have made purchases, read, and provided product reviews within the last three months. Although the number of respondents is relatively limited and covers only one region, the findings still provide an initial overview of consumer behavior on the Shopee platform. Primary data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale of 1–5, while secondary data were obtained from documentation and relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests, normality tests, F-tests, and t-tests with the assistance of SPSS version 25 software. The results show that the customer review variable has a positive and significant influence (Sig. < 0.05) on product sales growth. The F-value of 65.591 and t-value of 7.175 indicate a strong relationship between customer reviews and consumer purchasing decisions. Therefore, it can be concluded that customer reviews are an important factor in building trust, enhancing product reputation, and increasing sales on the Shopee e-commerce platform, although the results of this study are still limited in terms of national generalization.

Abstract

Pneumonia is one of the leading causes of death among toddlers in Indonesia, including in the city of Bandung, which records thousands of cases each year. This study aims to analyze and group cases of pneumonia in toddlers using the K-Means algorithm based on secondary data from Open Data Bandung in 2023. The research stages included data pre-processing with the main variable of Absolute Case Load, determining the optimal number of clusters using the Silhouette Method, applying K-Means with the Euclidean Distance metric, and evaluating the results using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI). The results show three risk clusters low (12 subdistricts), medium (12 subdistricts), and high (6 subdistricts) with Arcamanik, Bandung Kidul, Bandung Kulon, Buahbatu, Cibeunying Kidul, and Kiaracondong subdistricts identified as high-risk areas. The cluster quality evaluation produced a DBI value of 0.487, indicating fairly good cluster separation. The conclusion of this study is that clustering techniques can be used as a spatial analysis tool to support data-based health policies, which are expected to serve as a reference for local governments in optimizing resource allocation and designing more effective pneumonia prevention interventions.

Abstract

Accurate forecasting of rice demand is essential to maintain the balance between supply and consumption at the regional level. However, seasonal fluctuations and dynamic population growth often cause mismatches between rice availability and demand. This study addresses these issues by comparing two time-series forecasting methods, the Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average with Exogenous Variables (SARIMAX) and Prophet, in predicting rice demand in Central Java Province, Indonesia. The comparison was conducted because SARIMAX effectively explains the influence of exogenous variables such as population, while Prophet offers greater flexibility in capturing nonlinear trends and seasonal patterns. The study used secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) covering the period from January 2021 to December 2023. Model accuracy was evaluated using MAE, RMSE, MAPE, and sMAPE metrics. The results show that Prophet achieved a MAPE of 4.72%, outperforming SARIMAX at 5.49%, categorized as “highly accurate.” Prophet was more adaptive to short-term variations, whereas SARIMAX provided stronger interpretability of causal factors.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and cloud computing services has significantly transformed the tourism and accommodation sectors. Annisa Inn, located near Pattimura Airport in Ambon, still manages room reservations, souvenir sales, and shuttle services manually, which can lead to recording errors and service delays. This study specifically aims to design and implement a real-time reservation system model based on cloud architecture integrated with additional service features, using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development method. The resulting system integrates room reservation features, a catalog of traditional Maluku souvenirs, and shuttle services into a single web-based platform. The implementation of Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) Supabase, along with the integration of payment gateway Midtrans and email notification service Brevo, supports real-time transaction automation and user communication. The system was tested using the black-box testing method to ensure that all functions operate according to user requirements. The main contribution of this research lies in providing an integrated cloud-based system model that can serve as a reference for digitalization implementation in small and medium-scale lodging businesses.

Abstract

Conventional and static air quality monitoring in Yogyakarta City which only presents historical (past) data reports hinders proactive mitigation efforts against air pollution. This research aims to develop an air quality prediction system using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm, a deep learning method superior for time-series data analysis. The system utilizes historical data from the Yogyakarta City Environmental Agency (DLH) from 2022 to 2024, covering pollutant parameters such as PM10, PM2.5, SO₂, CO, O₃, and NO₂. The primary prediction focus is the AQI (Air Quality Index) value, calculated based on the concentration of these pollutant parameters. The research method includes data preprocessing, such as handling missing data with interpolation, designing a two-layer LSTM model architecture, model training, and performance evaluation using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) metrics. The results show that the developed LSTM model successfully provides predictions with good performance, where the combined average MAE value (4.85) is significantly lower than the average MAD of the actual data (10.19), indicating that the model's prediction error is smaller than the natural variability of the data. The output of this research is a prototype application with a graphical user interface (GUI) capable of displaying air quality predictions for the next day, identifying critical pollutant components, and presenting air quality condition classifications informatively.

Abstract

The patient referral process at Bidan Mawar Clinic is still carried out manually using paper forms and telephone communication, which often causes delays and recording errors. This condition hampers coordination between midwives and community health centers (Puskesmas) and potentially reduces the quality of healthcare services. To address these issues, this study develops a web- and mobile-based patient referral system aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and the speed of the referral process. The research approach employs a descriptive qualitative method, including stages of needs analysis, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), and system implementation using Flutter for the mobile application, PHP and Express.js for the backend, and MySQL as the database. The implementation results show that the system can perform login, registration, referral data submission, and real-time status monitoring functions with a 100% success rate under normal testing scenarios. The developed system accelerates the referral process by up to twice as fast compared to the manual method, reduces administrative errors, and enhances coordination between midwives and Puskesmas. Therefore, this system contributes to improving the efficiency and quality of healthcare services at the primary healthcare level.

Abstract

The management of wills in Indonesia still relies heavily on physical documents stored by notaries or family members. This manual approach presents several weaknesses, including the risks of damage, loss, forgery, and unauthorized access before the intended time. To address these issues, this study develops a digital will-security system utilizing a combination of AES–RSA encryption and a server-based Time-Released Cryptography (TRC) mechanism. AES is employed to encrypt document contents quickly and efficiently, while RSA secures the AES encryption key. TRC is implemented to ensure that the decryption process can only be performed at the predetermined time, thereby systematically preventing unauthorized access. This research adopts the Waterfall model, encompassing requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and performance and security testing. The test results show that the average encryption time for a 300 KB document is 125 ms, while the average decryption time is 118 ms. The TRC mechanism demonstrates 100% timing accuracy with no deviation from the release schedule, and all attempts to access the document before its designated time failed completely (0% success rate). The integration of AES–RSA and TRC proves effective in enhancing security, maintaining confidentiality, and controlling timely access to digital will documents.

Abstract

Document security is an essential aspect of notarial practice since notarial documents hold high legal value and must be kept confidential. The digitization of documents improves efficiency but also introduces new risks to data protection. This study aims to develop a web- and mobile-based notarial document security application implementing the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) encryption method to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of digital documents. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study conducted at the office of Notary Wavie Laksono Putro, S.H., M.Kn. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies of existing document management processes. Data analysis was performed descriptively to assess system requirements, encryption effectiveness, and user responses to the application. The testing results show that the system can successfully encrypt and decrypt documents with a 100% success rate across all testing scenarios. The system also proved more efficient in document management compared to manual processes at Notary Wavie Laksono Putro’s office. This research contributes to the development of cryptography-based digital security systems applicable to improving data protection in modern notarial practices.

Abstract

This study aims to design a website user interface for operators of children’s course institutions using the Design Thinking approach. This approach was chosen to gain a deep understanding of user needs and to create a design focused on ease of use and efficiency. The process begins with empathize, which involves deeply understanding users’ needs, emotions, and perspectives through observation and interviews. Next, the define stage aims to formulate the core problem based on empathy findings so that the solution focus becomes more accurate. The ideate stage then encourages the exploration of unlimited creative ideas to discover various possible solutions. These ideas are realized in the prototype stage, where concepts are transformed into tangible forms or simple representations that can be tested. Finally, the test stage is carried out to obtain direct user feedback so that the solution can be refined and made truly relevant to their needs. The evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method with ten course operator respondents. The test results showed an average score of 82.5, which falls into the Excellent category, indicating that the designed interface is easy to use, efficient, and satisfying for users. Thus, the application of Design Thinking proved effective in producing an interface design that meets user needs and can serve as a reference for developing similar information systems.

Abstract

The Wireless LAN (WLAN) network at the Air Limau Village Office faces operational challenges in the form of connection slowdowns during high loads, dependence on primary devices, and weak security protocols. This study aims to optimize the performance of the WLAN network and improve its security and performance. The method used is a SWOT analysis to map strategic factors and network measurement using the QoS (Quality of Service) method. The QoS test results show that the network performance is mostly in the "very good" to "good" category for the Packet Loss, Delay, and Jitter parameters. However, the test data indicates a significant performance decline at certain times, where the Throughput value drops to 299kbps (lowest) from the morning average (1688kbps), which validates the slowdown during peak hours. Strategically, the SWOT analysis highlights weaknesses in the centralized architecture (tree topology) and external threats. Based on these findings, the proposed solution is to optimize the topology to a hybrid to increase flexibility and redundancy, accompanied by regular maintenance and upgrades to the network infrastructure.
