Abstract

The policy regarding the relocation of the national capital is a top-down government policy. The public reacted in a variety of ways, both positively and negatively, to this policy. Sentiment analysis is used to determine if someone's opinions and the trend of those opinions on a topic or object are positive, negative, or neutral. The goal of sentiment analysis on the government's plans for moving the capital city is to determine public sentiment through social media and mainstream media using the crawling approach and an external analysis point of view so that these policies may be tested in the eyes of the people. Furthermore, this document makes policy suggestions to the government. The keywords "relocation of the national capital," "national capital," and "new capital" were used to gather data from 10 May to 10 June 2022. The authors used Brand24's (https://brand24.com/) free-to-pay automated data analysis tools in their study. According to the findings of the investigation, unfavorable attitude toward the government's policy of relocating the capital city outweighed positive opinion.

Abstract

According to the Spatial and Regional Plan of DKI Jakarta Province, Kedaung Kaliangke Subdistrict is one of the targeted areas for urban redevelopment through a slum area revitalization program. The Community Action Plan (CAP) program in Kedaung Kaliangke Subdistrict began implementation at the end of 2018 and served as a pilot project area for this program, alongside several other subdistricts in the West Jakarta Administrative City region. This research aims to evaluate the CAP program using Stake's Analysis, followed by the formulation of conclusions and recommendations for improving the implementation of CAP in addressing slum settlements in Kedaung Kaliangke Subdistrict. The research findings, based on Stake's analysis of readiness, processes, and outcomes, indicate that the CAP program in Kedaung Kaliangke Subdistrict has not been optimal and effective in improving the quality of housing. There is also a lack of collaboration from sectors outside the housing and settlement department, leading to neglect in maintaining and caring for infrastructure through the CAP and CIP programs. Recommendations for improvement include the need for community awareness campaigns about the CAP program before activities commence, enforcing transparency in the administrative process, extending the duration of CAP implementation, and selecting priority programs tailored to the community's needs as a solution to address the issues faced by the population.

Abstract

Effective corporate governance is unequivocally a framework that oversees and regulates companies, ensuring they generate value for all stakeholders. PERSERODA, formerly a local company, has undergone a transformation in line with legal provisions. This study aims to scrutinize the application of good corporate governance in the management of regional companies, specifically focusing on PERSERODA. Utilizing qualitative research methods, the research is conducted at PT. South Sulawesi Citra Indonesia, operating as PERSERODA in the South Sulawesi province. Primary data is gathered through in-depth interviews and participant observation. The findings reveal that the fundamental principles of good corporate governance have not been consistently and comprehensively applied in the company's operations, resulting in PERSERODA falling short of its potential contribution to the region. Implementing these principles thoroughly within a company can enhance both its performance and the quality of its output.
