Abstract

Alternative physics teaching aid with linear air track based on Arduino Uno have been developed to determine: (1) the accuracy of the teaching aid (2) the validity of the teaching aid, and (3) the practicality of the teaching aid. This research was conducted in the Physics Education study program, Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo. This research adapts the ADDIE (Analysis Design Develop Implement Evaluation) development model. The analysis technique uses a trial analysis tool, validation instrument data, student response questionnaire data and the implementation of learning and experimental results. Based on the trial of the tool carried out by calculating the time manually and using a sensor, the difference in mean value is 0.008 s. Based on the analysis of the validation results, it was obtained an average score of 3.14 with a percentage of 86.33% (very good category). The results of the analysis of the implementation of learning in the preliminary aspects obtained a mean value of 16.00, the core activity aspects were 26.00 and the closing aspects were 16.00. These three aspects obtained an average score of 3.75 in the very good category. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that this development research produces learning media in the form of teaching aid for straight motion with a linear air track based on Arduino Uno to calculate the time of objects as they pass with good accuracy and validity and practical teaching aid used for learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi pada materi sistem reproduksi siswa Kelas XI MAN 1 Lombok Barat melalui penggunaan instrumen three tier test. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Lombok Barat (MIA, IPS dan Bahasa). Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 60 siswa yang terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas XI MIA 1 dan 30 siswa kelas XI MIA 2. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik cluster sampling, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel berdasarkan perbedaan karakteristik kelas. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif menggunakan rumus persentase berdasarkan kriteria pemahaman konsep yang dicari. Hasil analisis miskonsepsi pada materi sistem reproduksi dengan menggunakan instrumen three tier test didapatkan siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi paling banyak pada indikator 4 sebesar 83,33% (klasifikasi sangat tinggi) dan siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi paling sedikit pada indikator 1 sebesar 68,33% (klasifikasi tinggi). Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami miskonsepsi sangat tinggi pada konsep pemahaman yang rendah maupun yang membutuhkan pemahaman tinggi.

Abstract

The study was Research and Development which animed at examining the validity, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data obtained from study were (1) validity data obtained through evaluation from the experts and practitioners, practicality data obtained through quiestionnaire of students, (3) effectiveness data obtained through quiestinnaire of students, (4) metacognitive awareness data obtained quiestionnaire of MAI instrument. The result of the data revealed that Windows produser-based learning media on Biologi subject to enhance awareness and students’ metacognitive skill which was development had achieved the quality criteria: (1) Windows produser-based learning media on reproduction system concept validity meets the criteria stated, practicality and effectiveness, (3) Windows produser-based learning media on reproduction system concept can increase student’s awareness metacognition Keyword: Research development, Windows Producer, awareness metacognition and Reproduction System

Abstract

Banyak kandungan senyawa kimia bermanfaat dalam makroalga yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi tetapi belum diteliti secara luas, seperti pigmen fotosintesis. Peningkatan kebutuhan pigmen fotosintesis pada dunia industri menyebabkan pencarian sumber alternatif pigmen fotosintesis masih terus dilakukan diantaranya dari makroalga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh lama penyimpanan ekstrak kasar makroalga Ulva lactuca terhadap kestabilan pigmen fotosintesis. Tahapan penelitian meliputi, isolasi pigmen fotosintesis, pemurnian menggunakan kromatografi kolom silika, karakterisasi pigmen fotosintesis dengan KLT dan spektrofotometer UV–Vis. Hasil KLT dari ekstrak kasar Ulva lactuca menunjukkan perbedaan jumlah dan jenis pigmen fotosintesis yang mencolok antara ekstrak kasar Ulva lactuca yang lansung diekstrak dan yang dibiarkan kurang lebih 3 hari. Pada hasil kromarogram menunjukkan ada 7 fraksi pigmen fotosintesis dan memiliki warna yang sangat mencolok yang diekstrak secara langsung sedangkan ekstrak kasar yang dibiarkan kurang lebih 3 hari menunjukkan hanya 5 fraksi pigmen fotosintesis dengan warna yang pucat. Fraksinasi dengan kromatografi kolom silika gel menunjukkan adanya pigmen fotosintesis sebanyak 29 fraksi. Setelah diindentifikasi dengan spektofotometer UV–Vis ada 4 fraksi utama yaitu ß-karoten, fukoxantin, klorofil a,dan feofitin a. Lama penyimpanan terhadap ekstrak kasar Ulva lactuca mempengaruhi pigmen fotosintesis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif.

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development was to determine the level of practicality in using e-book of Physics assisted by edmodo based on discovery learning in the learning process. This type of research and Development (R&D). The method used in this research is descriptive method with data collection instruments, namely practicality questionnaires assessed by the teacher. This research was conducted at State Senior High School 14 Padang for the 2019/2020 academic year on mechanical wave material. The results of this study indicate that the e-book Physics assisted by edmodo based on discovery learning is very pratical to use in the learning process with an average percentage of practicality 90%.
