Abstract

This study analyzes school management in realizing the healthy school program at school. The survey focuses on planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and controlling the healthy school program. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies from eight informants consisting of principals, teachers, and health workers. The study results indicate that school management planning in the healthy school program involves preparing a program based on the UKS Trias, procuring facilities such as UKS rooms, and collaborating with health agencies. In terms of organization, a simple and effective organizational structure supports a clear division of tasks between the principal, UKS coordinator, and other team members. Program implementation includes the habituation of clean and healthy lifestyles (PHBS), student health services, and various innovative programs such as Health Ambassadors and Go Green. At the supervision and control stage, the principal monitors and evaluates the implementation of the program to ensure compliance with the work plan and takes corrective action if obstacles occur. The conclusion of this study is that school management has implemented appropriate strategic steps to realize a sustainable, healthy school program. The success of this program is supported by careful planning, effective organization, innovative program implementation, and ongoing supervision. This program is expected to be a model for other schools in an effort to improve the quality of a healthy and conducive educational environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of quality-based school management at SDN Sekaran 01 Semarang Regency. The research focuses on program planning, implementation, evaluation, and challenges in school management execution. The study employs a qualitative methodology with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies involving school principals, teachers, and supervisors as research subjects from April to June 2024. The results indicate that quality-based school management implementation is carried out through three main phases: planning, execution, and evaluation. School program planning serves as a systematic framework and resource optimization mechanism. Program implementation involves various quality improvement strategies, including SWOT analysis, systematic problem-solving approaches, and comprehensive program evaluation. Major implementation challenges include limited community participation, resource constraints, and the need for program adaptation to evolving societal demands. This research finds that successful quality-based school management depends on effective leadership, stakeholder engagement, and adapting to changing educational needs.
