The aim of this research is to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of management ownership, institutional ownership, independent ownership boards, audit committees on profitability (Return On Equity) in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, the research samples obtained were 15 companies for the 2019-2022 period so there were 60 analysis units. The research design is quantitative descriptive. The analysis technique in this research uses the panel data regression method. The research results show that management ownership, independent board ownership, and audit committee have no effect on profitability. Meanwhile, institutional ownership has a significant negative effect on profitability. The implication of this research is that companies must pay attention to institutional ownership shares, because they can have a negative impact on the company's profitability.

Abstract

The growth of the laundry business increases every year along with population growth, however the laundry waste produced is generally thrown straight into the drain and flows into water bodies without prior treatment. The threshold limits for laundry wastewater quality standards for phosphate content, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Total Suspended Solid (TSS) are 10 mg/L respectively based on East Java Governor Regulation No. 72 of 2013. Disposing of laundry waste directly in large quantities into water bodies can have negative effects on the ecosystem in water bodies and water pollution problems. This research aims to determine the efficiency of using GAC and zeolite adsorbents in reducing phosphatelevels in laundry liquid waste. Based on the impact that can pollute water bodies, it is necessary to process laundry liquid waste. One of the processing methods used is the adsorption method, the adsorption process is carried out using Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and zeolite with a batch system. This research uses liquid wastewater samples from laundry businesses. The variations used in this research are the adsorbent mass, and contact time. The results obtained from this research include SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopes) test results and the percentage reduction in phosphatelevels using GAC and zeolite adsorbents in batch systems. The research results show that the optimum adsorbent mass is 12 grams of adsorbent mixed with GAC and zeolite with a contact time of 150 minutes with a percentage reduction in phosphate levels of 57.14%. The phosphate values of laundry liquid waste after processing with adsorbent mass, adsorbent composition and optimum contact time are 6.5 mg/L.

Abstract

The emergence of coworker support has become a hot topic of debate in academic circles because it has an impact on job satisfaction, performance improvement, and reduces employee desire to resign. This research uses systematic literature review with the aim of providing an overview of the development of the topic through the latest data and providing suggestions for future research development. The literature taken over the last ten years since 2013 was processed using the Watase UAKE application to obtain article extraction in the form of article information, the theory underlying the article, to future research opportunities. The results show that 2022 is the year with the most relevant articles, the International Journal of Hospitality Management as the most cited or cited journal, and China as the country with the most publications. Of the 27 articles extracted, resource conservation theory is the theory most widely used as a basis for research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how the workload and work motivation of employees on the performance of PT X employees and determine the effect both partially and simultaneously. This study used quantitative associative analysis which was used to determine the influence of the independent variable with the dependent variable. The sample of this study used a saturated sample of 57 employees of PT X sales department with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with SPSS 27 software. The results showed that partially workload had a negative effect on employee performance and work motivation had a positive effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, workload and work motivation affect employee performance.

Abstract

This study conducted a systematic literature review analysis to examine the growing research around the phenomenon of boss phubbing from 2013 to 2023. Boss phubbing refers to bosses doing phone snubbing, which has the potential to impact workplace dynamics and employee well-being. Through a systematic review of academic literature, this study aims to identify the main themes, article information, and content of article extraction. To provide a comprehensive review of boss phubbing, nine English-language research articles were generated between 2013 and 2023 from the Scopus database. Data were analyzed using Watase, presented by descriptive analysis and content analysis. This research contains a discussion of the theory that underlies the article so as to provide insight to understand the direction of research and its potential implications for organizational behavior and management practices. This research is also complemented by ideas for future developments in the topic, thus encouraging the need for future research to investigate more deeply whether certain manifestations of Boss Phubbing can provide positive results for individuals, teams, or organizations.
