Abstract

Learning Arabic in this modern era has been carried out in military educational institutions. Religious values must be distinct from learning Arabic. This differs from another foreign language teaching which is professionally oriented and practical only. This study aims to simultaneously reveal the acquisition of proficiency in Arabic and increased religiosity. In this study, a phenomenological analysis was used by focusing on the process of teaching religious values to military students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data has been collected through observation, interviews and documentation at Pusdik Pengmilum. Respondents in this study consisted of military teachers, military students and academic units. The research results show that all language skills are obtained through learning. To strengthen the religious values of life and development in learning Arabic. Learning activities with the tri system of military education archetypes are very influential. This can be seen from the supervision of the education unit, which collaborates with gumil (military teacher) in acquiring skills and increasing religiosity.

Abstract

This paper aims to shed light on the function of memorized materials and its role in developing the speaking skills of a students in junior secondary schools, especially those in the third grade, to achieve this objective, is become necessary to select an appropriate methods, materials to be taught as well as the teacher’s emotional participation with the students, and on this basis, the success or failure of an educational curriculum depends the method of teaching selected, equally, student is also considered the most important factor in the success of the educational process, so methods and student remained its main focus, and these methods of teaching were numerous and differed in their style and characteristics, This paper contains the definition of the memorized materials, it objectives, it teaching methods, it role in developing the speaking skill, the importance of the speaking skill in the preparatory stage, the methods of developing this skill, and the problems that a teacher may face in developing the speaking skill of a student.

Abstract

In an effort to improve the effectiveness of Arabic language learning, a deep understanding of relevant learning theories and their application in a comprehensive learning ecosystem becomes fundamental. This study aims to establish the relationship between learning theories and the learning ecosystem implemented in Arabic classes at MAN 3 Jember. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type to collect data through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of this study show that the integration of cognitive, behavioris, and constructivis as learning theories into Arabic language learning in MAN 3 Jember can help create a conducive and comprehensive lear­ning environment ecosystem in building students’ knowledge and understanding through social interaction, collaboration, and reflection in the context of Arabic language learning.

Abstract

Nahwu science is a science that discusses the rules of the Arabic language. However, there is little doubt when Nahwu science is viewed from an academic perspective which requires an epistemological aspect. So that in seeking the truth of a science, it is discussed in the study of the philosophy of science. The purpose of this study is to examine how the science of nahwu and its truth in the philosophy of science. This study is qualitative research with library research approach. Data collection techniques use literature studies from books, articles, and scientific journals. The results showed that Nahwu science is true as a science based on the Coherence Theory of Truth in the philosophy of science. So this is answered as proof that “Nahwu science is a science” so that Nahwu science is not only considered a tool in Arabic, but knowledge in Islamic and general education.

Abstract

Interactive learning media will make it easier for teachers to design an effective, conducive and not monotonous learning process, so that it can also help students understand Arabic easily, one of which is the Wordwall Website media. This study aims to determine the influence of Wordwall Website media to increase interest in learning Arabic for grade VIII students Junior High School (MTs) Al Muddatsiriyah Jakarta in learning vocabulary. The study used correlational quantitative methods. Data testing uses normality test, homogeneity test and correlation test. The results of the analysis prove that the Wordwall Website media is influential in increasing the interest in learning Arabic for grade VIII students in vocabulary learning at Junior High School (MTs) Al Muddatsiriyah Jakarta. The result is obtained from the significance of 2-tailed 0.015 which value is < alpha 0.05. Then the result of testing the hypothesis is that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. From the results of 72 respondents of grade VIII students, it proves that the Wordwall Website media has an influence on increasing interest in learning Arabic in vocabulary learning.
