Abstract

Changes in the lifestyle of today's society, for entrepreneurs and retail businesses, namely providing quality service and especially trust in shopping. This study aims to examine and discuss the effect of trust on buying interest moderated by service quality at a supermarket in a sunter mall. This approach uses casual associative quantitative data and data obtained through questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that entering the new normal is a step for consumers to shop during the pandemic. The sample of brick shoes consumers is 106 people. The analysis uses a structural model that is processed by SMARTPLS 3.0 software.

Abstract

This study examines the Toba Batak language, the Sibolga Coastal language, and the Minangkabau language belonging to the Austronesian or Polynesian Malay family. The assumption regarding the kinship of the three languages is in the fact that there are similarities and similarities in form and meaning which are a reflection of the same historical heritage which is thought to have come from the mixing of natives with immigrants. This research uses the lexicostatistical method. The first stage, collects 200 basic vocabulary compiled by Morris Swades. The method used in providing this data is the referential method, while the technique used is the note-taking technique. Second, determine the pairs which of the three languages is a cognate language. Third, calculate the age and separation time of the three languages. Fourth, calculate the error term to determine a more precise separation time. From this research, it was found that the language status of the Sibolga language and the Minangkabau language is a family category, while the language status of the Minangkabau - Toba Batak and Sibolga - Toba Batak languages is a stock category.

Abstract

The tourism industry sector is an important contributor to the economy and one of the factories, especially those that create foreign currency that is very necessary in the national economy.  The objectives of the study are: (1) Identifying Potential Tourism Objects, (2) Mapping the Spread of Potential Tourist Objects, (3) Identifying existing tourist objects and destinations. Information analysis was tried qualitatively- interpretively looking at the progress of tourism and the incidence of the tourism situation in this endemic era of Covid-19 in various tourism regions in Indonesia. The results of the analysis of library or literature prove that the ruler has shared special wisdom in the tourism zone upgrade chart, and various tourism destination areas have also practiced strategies and programs that are able to adjust to the situation that is said to be a new normal period, and there is a change in tourist attitudes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to analyze the types of language attitudes occurs in the movie Amazing Spiderman and the type of meaning from the source taken from the official movie script. The method is used in this study is descriptive analysis method. By using Perloff, (2003) theory the researcher found that there are two types of language attitudes occurs in the movie which are attitudes to Vernacular and attitude to standard English. Vernacular is using a language or dialect native to a region or country rather than a literary, cultured, or foreign language  of relating or being a nonstandard language or dialect of a place, region, or country. Standard English is the English used by educated people with relatively high social status. Moreover,  Attitudes to language are important to sociolinguistic for a study of reasons.

Abstract

This paper describes a covid-19 pandemic that has put the entire world's population in a very worrying situation almost all countries in the world feel the impact. All countries in the world have implemented several policies to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic, including by enforcingLockdown, Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and recently the government implemented PPKM to suppress the spread of Covid-19. However, it seems that it has not been successful enough, this can be seen from the number of positive cases of Covid-19 every day is still high. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to do a more effective and efficient way to deal with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. (WHO, 2021). Various methods have been taken by the government or the health Team to reduce the number of cases of Covid-19, but in reality, the number is still increasing. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to do a method or container that is more attractive and easier for the community to use to carry out the initial treatment if signs and symptoms of being infected with Covid-19 are found. One of the most effective ways is the provision of vaccines for every Indonesian citizen. (Covid & Team, 2020).

Abstract

Law in Indonesia guarantees legal protection for workers. However, its existence does not necessarily mean that employment problems do not occur. So that the presence of Legal Aid is considered very important for a country with the principle of equality before the law. Therefore, there is a right that will be obtained by all levels of Indonesian society, namely equality before the law. This study aims to examine legal aid as a worker's right in the banking industry. This type of research is normative law research. Normative legal research is legal research conducted by examining library materials or secondary data and referring to legal concepts. The results of this study that the implementation of legal aid will be very helpful when workers in the banking industry are faced with legal cases or with a collection of state instruments that carry out judicial power and court proceedings. Every worker/labor has the right to get protection on to safety and health work; Moral and decency; and Treatment which in accordance with dignity and dignity man as well as values religion.

Abstract

This study aims to identify Knowledge Management (KM) implementation factors, highlight KM implementation elements, and assess PT PELNI (Persero)'s readiness for KM implementation. The investigation employs the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Likert Summated Ratings (LSR) techniques. For readiness evaluation respondents, there were 23 respondents who served as human capital staff. According to the findings of this study, PT PELNI (Persero) has eight factors with a total of 38 indicators. Furthermore, the factor related such as Top Management Factor, Executive Management Factor, Culture Factor, Organizational Infrastructure Factor, Human Resource Management Factor, Continuous Improvement Factor KM Architecture Factor, Technical Infrastructure Factor are listed in order based on their relative significance. By then, based on the level of readiness, the results of the overall evaluation of readiness are unprepared. On the other hand, based on the results of the respondent's summary, the majority of the indicators are considered ready for implementation. This signifies that employee are prepared to adopt the KM program, but the KM team believes that there is room for development in each KM implementation indication before the program can be implemented.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the kinds of moral values and the characteristic of moral values that found in the “The Silent Child” short movie. The method use in this research is qualitative research. Data collection is conducted by watching the short movie of “The Silent Child” and by reading the subtitle. Meanwhile, to analyze the data, the writer conducting some steps. There are; (1). Seeing the movie, (2). Reading the substitle, (3) Identifying moral value found in the movie, (4). Drawing conclusion. The result of this research is we known about a message, moral value such as; bravery, peace ability, confident, wisdom, cooperation, friendliness and kindness, and the dominant moral value in the “The Silent Child” short movie.

Abstract

The focus of this research is on the film Tinker Bell's discourse markers. A variety of discourse markers and their purposes are examined in this study, which can be seen in the Tinker Bell movie. In addition, the study explores the differences in speech patterns between male and female language speakers. The "descriptive method" is the approach used in qualitative research. Men and women's dialogue in Tinker Bell's film, together with the reasons for the frequent use of discourse markers and disparities between men and women in their use, were all examined in light of the theory's claimed predictions. According to a number of studies, men and women use and speak different languages and dialects. In Tinkerbell's film, there are a variety of discourse markers, as well as expressive, directed, phatic, and poetic. commissive language functions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the level of semiotics in the Ramadan edition of Tehbotol Sosro advertisements using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The data in this study are scenes that contain denotation and connotation meanings in the Ramadhan edition of Tehbotol Sosro advertisements that obtained from the video advertisement for the Ramadan edition of Tehbotol Sosro which was uploaded by the YouTube Channel account. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Research instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection was carried out by watching an advertisement for the Ramadan edition of Tehbotol Sosro, then taking screenshots of the scene containing denotative and connotative meanings. The results show that there are five denotative meanings, which is (50%) and connotative meanings, which is (50%) in Tehbotol Sosro advertisement Ramadan Edition. It can be seen that in the advertisement there is a direct meaning, namely denotation and an indirect meaning, namely connotation.
