Abstract

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has issued a new rule that requires people to wear masks when they want to go out of the house. Using masks does not reduce the value of existing fashion, because currently many sellers are creating masks with unique styles and following fashion but still paying attention to mask health standards. The application of the illustration of Sundanese snacks is one form of new innovation to maintain the Sundanese snack culture. The thermochromic technique is also applied to masks to make masks more attractive and have selling points, so that Indonesian food can be recognized and can become iconic fashion. The design of this work is derived from references obtained through the internet, pdf / Ebook books, and from the results of questionnaires which aim to develop a theoretical basis that will be used in creating works as reference and comparison materials. The work as a whole is exhibited in the form of an exhibition which is then arranged in such a way, with Thermochromic Masks as the main media and other supporting media.Keyword: Masker, Illustration, Traditional Street Food, Thermochromic------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Kementrian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia menerbitkan aturan baru yang mengharuskan masyarakat menggunakan masker saat hendak bepergian keluar rumah. Menggunakan masker sebenarnya tidak mengurangi nilai fashion yang ada, karena saat ini banyak penjual yang menciptakan masker dengan gaya unik dan mengikuti fashion namun tetap memperhatikan standar kesehatan masker. Penerapan ilustrasi jajanan Sunda merupakan salah satu bentuk inovasi baru untuk mempertahankan budaya jajanan Sunda. Teknik Thermochromic juga diterapkan pada masker untuk membuat masker yang lebih menarik dan memiliki nilai jual, dengan begitu makanan nusantara dapat dikenal dan dapat menjadi fashion yang iconic. Perancangan karya ini berasal dari referensi yang didapatkan melalui internet, buku pdf/Ebook, dan dari hasil quesioner yang bertujuan untuk menyusun dasar teori yang akan digunakan dalam menciptakan karya sebagai bahan referensi dan pembanding. Karya secara keseluruhan dipamerkan dalam bentuk pameran yang kemudian ditata sedemikian rupa, dengan masker thermochromic sebagai media utama dan media penunjang lainnya.Kata Kunci: Masker, Ilustrasi, Tajanan Tradisional, Thermochromic.
