The purpose of TEPIAN is to publish original research studies directly relevant to computer science. TEPIAN encompasses the full spectrum of information technology and computer science, including information system, hardware technology, intelligent system, and multimedia applications. TEPIAN welcomes original papers, reviews and commentaries. Suggestions for special issues covering selected topics may be considered. TEPIAN is devoted to publish manuscripts that advance the knowledge of information technology and communication beyond state-of-the-art. Abstract

Along with today's technological developments, applications can be used as a medium of learning. This study aims to create a learning application about the solar system by utilizing technology Augmented Reality which is expected to be used to support the Natural Science (IPA) learning program by an elementary school educational institution to make the teaching and learning system more creative and interactive. In this study, the method augmented reality used is Image Based Tracking, which uses images as markers. The tools that help in the making of this AR are the Vuforia SDK which is used as a storage area marker. By doing this research, the results obtained in the form of the Solar System Learning application Augmented Reality that runs on the platform Android and testing respondents using the method User Acceptance Testing (UAT)with a value of 73.5%.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that allows people to visualize the virtual world as part of the real world. In simple terms AR can be defined as a real environment that is added with virtual objects, this is made possible through certain input devices. Learning media is a tool used in supporting the implementation of the teaching and learning process. In this process, it can be carried out using books or media electronics. One of them is using electronic media in the form of smart phones. In implementing it is applied to the treatment and type of teeth. The types of teeth used are incisors, canines, molars and molars . There are also cavities, tooth structure and dental care . The method used in this research is Marker based tracking. Marker based tracking is a type of Augmented Reality that recognizes a marker and identifies it to add a virtual object to the real environment.

Abstract

The constraints that exist in a system that is run manually, include the large amount of data that must be processed, the complexity in processing data, the limited time used in processing data, and various types of data. Likewise, in an office of the Plantation Service in East Kalimantan Province, processing correspondence is still done manually. This application uses a system by entering the type of letter to find a list of incoming and outgoing mail to make it easier for operators at the Plantation Service in East Kalimantan Province. In this program, the operator must enter first to access data from incoming messages and announcements. Therefore, this application is expected to improve the previous system and make work easier so that it can shorten the time so that work efficiency increases and makes it easier for operators to process data.Based on the results of observations in the form of an interview with an employee of the Data Information Service Center (PPID) at the Plantation Office of East Kalimantan Province, it was stated that there was no system or application. Correspondence services at the Plantation Office of East Kalimantan Province have been running well, but all processes are still manual and use a lot of paper. This application is also a form of concern for paper, where paper usage is starting to be reduced. All data and documentation are presented in digital or paperless form.Referring to the results of these observations, we need a web media capable of displaying correspondence with detailed information. With this web, it is expected to be useful for employees. In addition, it can assist the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Office in providing correspondence information.With the Correspondence Management Information System website, it is hoped that it will be useful for employees at the Plantation Office of East Kalimantan Province in processing letter data so that they can work effectively and efficiently in the process

Abstract

Utilization of Information Technology (IT) is able to produce good government management. The implementation of E-Finance continues to be developed by the Regional Finance Agency "BKD" in helping people make online tax payments and management through the website. COBIT 5 as a framework that focuses on control, not execution, so that it can optimize IT utilization, as well as ensure service delivery and measure against what can be done to answer future needs. This research focuses on one of the COBIT 5 domains in it, namely Monitor, Evaluate, and Assess (MEA). By utilizing the Domain MEA COBIT 5. The results of the calculation of the maturity level of IT management at Regional Finance Agency of Salatiga City have reached level 2 in the Capability Model table, namely Managed Process with the results of the gap analysis of each process is the GAP from MEA01 of 2.19, in MEA02 with GAP owned by 2.56 and MEA03 has a GAP of 2.46. In each process, the MEA domain from MEA01, MEA02, and MEA03 has been conducted, monitored, and evaluated on IT performance with reference to organizational policies (Niemann, 2010).

Abstract

The National and Political Unity Agency "KESBANGPOL" of Salatiga City is a government agency tasked with overseeing community activities in Salatiga City. In designing the information system architecture of the National Unity and Political Body "KESBANGPOL" of Salatiga City, the Enterprise Architecture Planning "EAP" methodology is used. Enterprise Architecture Planning "EAP" is a tool developed to build an enterprise architecture that harmonizes the three types of architecture in its development, namely data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture. Based on this research it was found that there was no adequate administrative information system. The condition of the computer network owned by The National and Political Unity Agency "KESBANGPOL" has 1 internet-connected to 1 server. 1 The server is connected to 2 Routers, where 2 Routers are connected to 23 PC Servers and also connected to 20 printers. Based on the application system architecture, the mapping process of infrastructure components can be carried out. These infrastructure facilities are still inadequate for The National and Political Unity Agency "KESBANGPOL" with community service activities in Salatiga City which are very dense, so it is necessary to add computer and PC networks in order to facilitate service activities.

Abstract

Agriculture in Indonesia plays a very important role. But the agricultural sector also has a lot of crowds in the process, from the nursery process to the feeding process to the harvesting process, especially when the current Corona pandemic is very influential, for that we need special attention from the parties involved in overcoming the existing problems. In agriculture these processes become more effective and efficient so as to increase the level of productivity of agricultural products. One way to overcome this problem is to involve technology which is currently developing rapidly. The technology that will be built will be able to help the agricultural management process which can be called smart agricultural technology. Technology is able to collect data and present hydroponic plant data during the planting process so that appropriate action can be taken immediately. The technology that will be built in the form of a Web and API (Application Programming Interface) in smart farming applications is expected to be able to make the planting management process more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Children really like food that makes them interested in trying it, but the food that makes them interested is likely to be one of them. Source of problems for his health. Food and drinks that do not know the manufacturing process have an impact on children's development. Therefore, an educational game was created to get to know healthy and nutritious food. This is so that children can know which food is good for them and which food is not good for consumption. In its implementation, game development can use Construct2. Construct2 is a device that is used specifically for making games for platforms 2D. Games that use construct2 can be applied to educational games about healthy and nutritious food using the method finite state machine. FSM is a game smart agent development in the field of artificial intelligence. Methods Finite state machine (FSM) is a control system design methodology that describes the behavior or the working principle of the system by using the three things, namely, state, event and action.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a Decision Support System for Selection of Outstanding Employees at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Samarinda by using the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method with the hope that the selection will be carried out objectively. By using the PHP programming language and the database used is MySQL. In this study, the data collection techniques used were literature study, observation and interviews. The decision support system for selecting outstanding employees at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Samarinda, is a system designed to assist in making decisions in selecting the right outstanding employees using the help of the SMART method, using the feasibility study system development stage, designing, selecting and making a support system. Decision. The result of this research is the creation of a decision support system to make decisions for high performing employees. Users can input employee data, criteria data and sub criteria data. Abstract

The application of prototype smart security tools on doors using RFID with a NodeMCU-based telegram monitor in the process of opening the door aims to provide security and comfort and make work easier to make it faster, more effective and efficient. Where it can be used by lecturers and assistant lecturers who have been registered as staff and admin of the Computer Laboratory and the results of the track record will be monitored by the Head of the STMIK Computer Laboratory, Widya Cipta Dharma. This prototype was built using the C programming language with the Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) application, and the system in the form of WEB using the PHP Native programming language using the Sublime Text 3 application and using the Mysql database and using the Telegram application as a medium for receiving notifications in the form of messages to be received by head of the Computer Laboratory. Based on the data analysis carried out above, it is concluded that the application of Smart Security on doors using RFID with a NodeMCU-based Telegram monitor is much faster, effective, efficient and safe and easy to use.

Abstract

The database is one of the benchmarks that affect the quality of information systems. An effective information system certainly has a quality database. Aspects that can be measured to determine the quality of the database are aspects of truth, consistency, range, level of detail, completeness, minimalism, ability to integrate and readability. One of the mistakes that are often encountered in databases is related to the consistency aspect. Consistency aspects that are not paid much attention to its application can lead to data conflicts due to ambiguity and data duplication. This study aims to improve the quality of the database by applying consistency to the naming of fields and tables. A naming method to produce consistency in standardization was applied in this study.
