Abstract

Promotional tools are the initial media for corporate imagery as well as tools used in great opportunities to achieve sales & profitability of the company. PT Gracia Karya Masehi does not yet have a promotional tool on its behalf & so far the promotion process through the mother company (PT. Omega) is only by using a catalog (printed). Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design a new promotional tool for the better name of PT Gracia Karya Masehi, the design of multimedia product promotion tools (computerized based on animation). The research method approach conducted using data collection methods in the form of direct observation, interviews, literature, and surfing the internet as well as design analysis methods with a simple depiction of the proposed promotion system using Use Case & Activity diagrams. It can be concluded that the promotion of PT Gracia Karya Masehi can be simplified from its promotional systems such as promotions carried out by itself and the promotion tools developed by creating new promotional tools utilizing multimedia.

Abstract

Timothy Suwarsito, a dedicated self-taught painter. He was a hard worker, both as a painter, as an educator and as a whole person. His freedom of thought, imagination, and work is his attitude. Creativity is a word that must be lived, cultivated and put together with him, he hopes to be a creative person. So he diligently searched. He explored. By standing on earth living life, what is desired, is tried to be realized. Do not care about the fact that sometimes it is indeed bitter and for him, it is a challenge that must be faced and defeated. As a human being, he believes in his intuition (as reflected in his work). Within a few decades, he changed jobs not because he wanted to make a profit, but because he followed his conscience, his conscience that was often right, produced happiness. It turns out that life does have to choose. He chose to be an abstract painter and at the same time as an educator, guiding children, youth, and adults to paint.

Abstract

Animation in Indonesia has developed, this time there are many agencies starting designing animations,both 2 dimension ar 3 dimension, just call one of them is Belantara Studio which has made several animated series including Binekon which tells about 5 characters representing the culture of the archipelago. Each character has its own characteristic which is a representation of the archipelago's cultural community, the focus of this research will be on the character of Jabo in the Coconut episode, is described that he can help his friends in solving problems. Primary data in this study is the perception of researchers, in this case, the researcher will give thought in studying visual signs is contained in the Binekon animation with semiotic Barthes analysis.

Abstract

Drawer (nightstand) is one of the home properties that are very important because there are also many functions of sweetening the room or can be used to store things for necessity. There was a time when night tables were considered only as their storage space built as ordinary shelves with shelves to store objects in bedrooms, schools, hospitals, and offices. The drawer is mostly made of wood but not many people know about the material used as the base for making Drawers. Therefore what will be sought in this research is anything that is light wood for Drawers or night tables, any coloring that is suitable for Drawers or nightstand, ergonomic forms for Drawers or nightstand. The method that will be used in achieving the objectives of this research is the desk research method. analyze secondary sources from books and the internet that discuss Drawer. The research objective to be achieved in this study is to reveal a study of knowing and analyzing what is light wood suitable for Drawer (night table), knowing the color and analyzing what colors are suitable for Drawer (night table), Knowing and analyzing shapes Ergonomic for Drawers (nightstand).

Infographics can reduce the use of words that are not needed and can package messages to become more interesting. Research on Aqua 242 infographics of Ramadhan uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to identify the appropriateness of health infographic principles and visual strategies in the paradoxical visual style applied by the Ramadhan AQUA 242 campaign infographics. Abstract

Games are often used as an entertainment medium that occupies a place in the hearts of consumers. One type of game that still has a high interest in console games. Persona 4 is a Playstation game that was released on July 10, 2008, and won the Game of the Year title from many game criticism and media review games. Persona 4 was praised for its unique visual style, interesting and powerful stories, and the bold adoption of social themes and gender sexuality. The visual aspect of Persona that will be analyzed in this research is related to the creation and design of characters in intellectual property. This research will be examined in terms of overall character design, using Carl Jung's Archetype approach to dissect personality characterization, then its relation to visual using Hiroyoshi Tsukamoto's Manga Matrix approach and then deepened by using intertextual theory to dissect conceptually, as well as what aspects influence the character's creation. So it is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference material for developing character design created in the world of learning and also industry, especially in the gaming industry, to create fantasy characters that have an appeal in attracting players.

Abstract

In the development of the digital world today, comics have become one of the most rapidly developing works of art, because the increasingly depleted problem of comic artists in publishing their work, many new comic artists have sprung up abroad and in the country. It is "Nusa Five" which is the latest work from Sweta Kartika. The comic that combines the theme of enriching the Japanese superhero team with the cultural elements of the archipelago becomes a fresh style in the world of Indonesian comics. In this research, the author aims to analyze the character design found in the "Nusa Five" comic.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find a good and interesting collection system of the heirlooms at  museum as to provide the visitors with an appeal and clarity information about collections in Museum as a public spaces. The background of this research is looking at the condition of Heritage Museum which looks like been abandoned and not neatly arranged, we concern about the suistainablity of collections’s display that are not maintained well. They need to be upgraded for a display system to be more interesting and easily seen. Especially the ancient museums of heirlooms which is keris that are not quite interesting for youngster nowaday due to the proliferation of contemporary museums. Therefor it is our duty to make the museum look more interesting to be visited and show much more information to the visitors. However, there are many aspects that need to be considered in designing good museum display, while many supporting factors such as the grouping of collections, the signage systems, as well as lighting are needed too. This study will examine how the object of research solves the issue above and researchers will provide appropriate and better display system as the solution, hoping that it will increase the interest and attention of visitors to know the museum colletion better. The method used in the research are documentation of the research object, combined with the study of literature. Hopefully this research will give contribution to the design of the museum's display system with ergonomical and clearly information about the collection, also gives happiness to the wider community. For the further development of museums, this research is aimed to contributes a good and friendly display technique and system in the future.

Abstract

The development of the advertising world is now increasingly innovating in creativity. Advertising is a reflection of the image of a company, of course, the concept of creativity refers to the character of the company so that the delivery of messages can arrive according to the positioning of the mind of the audience. Various products and services have their strategies to strengthen their positioning. One of them is an application-based company called GO-JEK.GO-JEK  in its advertisement carries the theme of floral arrangements with the slogan #AnakBangsaBisa. In commemoration of the 73rd independence day of the Republic of Indonesia, GO-JEK  expressed its gratitude to the sons and daughters of the nation who had inspired and succeeded in bringing Indonesian names to the ends of the world, even into space. This was revealed through the site and billboards themed flowers.This study aimed to study the GO-JEK floral arrangement advertising design as a creative element of speech culture through floral arrangements in the advertising world. The method in this study is descriptive qualitative, which will examine the concept of visual strategy design in the advertisement applied by GO-JEK by reviewing the visual appearance related to color, the shape in the form of fields, illustrations, typography, icons/symbols, and layouts used. Output targeted in the study, the results of the research can be published in national-level journals.Based on the above, the research reviews the GO-JEK advertisement version of the visual strategy of GO-JEK, to appreciate the development of contemporary advertising content, especially developments in the advertising world.

Abstract

Vocational education is education that directs students to develop applied expertise and skills that can adapt to certain occupations and can create jobs. Vocational education aims to prepare a skilled workforce ready for work that is expected to meet employment needs. There are still limited opportunities for deaf students to continue their higher studies, this is because in Indonesia there is not yet a special applied education for deaf study in the field of arts education.So that deaf space special vocational education must be applied based on the deaf space design principles so that interior elements can support and apply in accordance with the principle of deaf space to be easier in accessibility and disability friendly.Thus the idea that was raised in the interior design of VTI was to provide children with hearing impairment to learn well and be pleasant. The concept of "Modern and Visual Connecting" is a concept that presents a spatial atmosphere in the form of visual connecting characteristics that are given a modern impression.This is expected to become a better VTI and invite people with special needs to continue VTI schooling to become smarter children.
