Abstract

Pregnant women frequently encounter anxiety, particularly during the third trimester of pregnancy. If left untreated, this anxiety can interfere with daily activities and has the potential to have a negative impact on the mother and her baby. Maternal anxiety is a significant problem, because it can cause complications such as obstructed labor and miscarriage if not treated properly. Pregnancy-related anxiety is characterized by a negative emotional state associated with concerns about personal well-being, fetal condition, the labor process, or preparation for motherhood. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of Maryam exercise movements and prenatal yoga in reducing anxiety in third trimester pregnant women at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic, Percut Sei Tuan District in 2025. The research design used was an experimental study with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 26 third trimester pregnant women selected by purposive sampling. From the results of the Wilcoxon statistical test, significant results or probability values (0.001) were obtained which were much lower than the standard significant value <0.05 or (p<ᵅ), the Ha scale was accepted, which means that there is an influence between the Maryam exercise movements and prenatal yoga on reducing anxiety in pregnant mothers in the third trimester. the results the Mann-Whitney test a differencein anxiety levels between the two groups significant difference in anxiety levels after Maryam exercise and after prenatal yoga (p value = 0.023 <α 0.05). the results showed that the group of respondents who did the Maryam exercise movements had a lower anxiety value, namely (mean rank = 11.73) compared to the anxiety value in the prenatal yoga treatment, namely (mean rank = 14.35).These findings indicate a significant comparison of the effectiveness of Maryam exercise and prenatal yoga in reducing anxiety in third trimester pregnant women at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic in 2025.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between early mobilization and uterine involution in post-cesarean section mothers at RSU Sembiring Deli Tua, Deli Serdang Regency in 2026 explores maternal health issues in Indonesia, highlighted by high Maternal Mortality Rates (MMR). It examines recovery challenges after Caesarean sections, such as infection, uterine rupture, bleeding, and delayed recovery. Early mobilization, or moving shortly after delivery, is suggested to support recovery. Using a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test, the study finds that early mobilization significantly improves uterine involution (Wilcoxon signed-rank test: Z = -2.985, p = 0.03).
