The Journal of Management and Business Environment (JMBE) is a blind-review journal that is published by Magister Management, Soegijapranata Catholic University, Semarang, Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to determine the conditions of job satisfaction, job performance, supervision,job relations, and compensation at CV. Aliansyah; explain the influence of supervision, job relations, and compensation for job satisfaction; the influence of supervision, job relations, and compensation on job performance; the effect of job satisfaction on job performance. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The variables of this study are supervision,jobrelations, and compensation as independent variables, job satisfaction as a mediator variable and job performance as a dependent variable. The sample in this study were 78 employees working at CV. Aliansyah Winong Pati. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data used in this study came from questionnaires by respondents. Secondary data obtained from company data, journals, and previous research. Data analysis methods used are descriptive analysis, regression and path analysis. The results of path analysis show that supervision,job relations, compensation have no significant effect on job satisfaction; supervision, job relations, compensation have a significant effect on performance; Job satisfaction has no significant effect on job performance. Job satisfaction is not a mediating variable because the direct influence of all independent variables (supervision, job relations, compensation) on the dependent variable (job performance) is greater than the indirect effect through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Instagram isthe most used social mediathat promotes influencer marketing, which is an effective marketing way by using influencer. SMI can be a fashion blogger, such as Gisella who endorses casual fashion in Instagram. SMI’s credibilityhas a role in purchase intention, making a producer consider SMI's credibility when they decide to work with them. Customer perceived value (CPV) can be partially mediating variable toward SMI's credibility on purchase intention, indicating that there might be other variable that act as mediator. Other researcher found that attitude toward advertisement (Aad) act as mediator of SMI's credibility on purchase intention. Thus the purpose of this research is to examine the mediating effect of CPV and Aad toward the SMI's credibility on purchase intention of casual fashion. The population used was female student of SCU Semarang. Descriptive analysis (score tabulation) and statistic analysis (regression, path analysis)were conducted. The result indicated that CPV and Aad are partially mediating SMI's credibility on purchase intention of casual fashion endorsed by Gisella. It implied that producer should screen SMI based on their credibility since it has a great direct effect on purchase intention. Furthermore, they should consider CPV and Aad since it poses a mediating role

Abstract

This research aims at knowing the influence of country of origin (COO) and brand image on purchase decision of Etude House, a South Korean cosmetic brand. A sample of 100 consumers of Etude House was the respondents that were selected using snowball method. The questionnaire were distributed to women consumers who live in Semarang and have been using the products in the last three months. Multiple regression analysis was to see if the influence of COO and brand image on purchase decision is significant. The results show that COO and brand image had positive and significant influence on the purchase decision of Etude House products

Abstract

A favourable service quality depends on the individual employee performance. The better the employee performance, the more favourable the service quality. This study underlined the Food and Beverage (FB) service employee performance of CC Club and the factors influence it which cover job stress, leadership style and training. A regression and significance tests are used to see relationship of employee performance to job stress, leadership style and training. The study discovered that the performance of FB service employee of CC Club is 84.4% affected by job stress, leadership style and training. These variables have statistically significant effect partially and simultaneously on the performance. The change in one or more variables will reflect on the overall performance of the employees

Abstract

This research was to analyze the influence of strategic leadership in increasing financial performance in CV SB, an entertainment company in Semarang. Here, strategic leadership was measured using four indicators as in Lumpkin and Dess (1996), namely promotion, mentoring, discipline, and cooperation. This research used qualitative descriptive to describe and picturize situations of the object based on facts. Observation on operations of the company, interview to the manager and several employees, as well as documentation were to collect data. Triangulation was to validate the data in which data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion were the process in analysis. The result shows that the four indicators of leadership have run well and they influenced the promotion and human resource programs of the company that in turn positively affect financial performance. More specifically, promotion and mentoring influenced promotion program, while discipline and cooperation influenced human resource program.

Abstract

This paperaims to describe and understand how entrepreneurship was developed in SD Kanisius Protakan, Ngargomulyo, Muntilan. It was intended to build entrpernuerial characteristics in early childhood based on ecology and local wisdom. Entrepreneurship included in this learning process was in the form of respecting farmers as a dignified job because they take role in supporting human welfare and respecting the universe that has provided fertility and diversity of resources that can help humans improve their standard of living. This awareness needs to be developed so that children are proud of themselves, their parents, and their environment.They can thus grow into individuals who are ready to have entrepreneurial spirit for creatively and innovatively can utilize natural resources and humans to work together for mutual prosperity. Collaboration needed through parents, school and communities will provide a variety of ways of learning through parents, teachers and the community who remain rooted in local culture.
