Journal of Technopreneurship on Economics and Business Review (JTEBR) adalah suatu jurnal elektronik yang dikelola oleh Fakultas Ekonomi Unversitas Ichsan Gorontalo (Unisan) dengan No ISSN 2716-0092 (online) dan ISSN 2716-0106 (cetak). Jurnal Technopreneurship Unisan bertujuan menyediakan berbagai publikasi artikel hasil penelitian berupa riset empirikal atau telaah konseptual terkait dengan perkembangan isu ekonomi, manajemen dan akuntansi yang terkini. JTEBR terbit secara berkala dua kali setahun pada bulan Juni dan Desember. Abstract

Indonesia became the second largest contributor of plastic waste in 2019 with 62% of it came from online shopping in e-commerce. The real anxiety is felt by the community so that it was necessary to implement a solution as an action to minimize the environmental impact of plastic waste, one of a way is by design thinking process. The first three stages of design thinking, namely empathize, define, and ideate became the crucial stages for fixationing an idea before they were tested. Through a descriptive analysis process from the results of interviews with 30 interviewees in depth, it was found that at the empathize stage, the ideas were explored using an empathy map. At the define stage, it was found that in the community there was still a lot of plastic waste with the type of plastic waste in the form of food, beverage or packaged plastic waste. Lastly, at the ideate stage, eco-boba was a solution resulting from design thinking in an effort to reduce plastic waste by using and processing plastic back into other products, namely pillow dolls filled with single-use plastic, both from flexible and rigid monomaterials.

Abstract

Plastic waste management is a problem because plastic is a material that cannot be decomposed naturally (non-biodegradable). Bioplastics are used as a substitute for conventional plastics because they degrade quickly and are environmentally friendly. One way to overcome environmental problems regarding plastic waste is necessary to make changes to the raw materials of the plastic. This study aims to analyze consumer wants and needs regarding bioplastic products and develop a business model design for products made from bioplastics. This research method uses the design thinking method with the stages of analyzing the empathy map and the business model canvas (BMC). The results showed that the market segmentation was dominated by people aged 18-25 years. In addition, respondents want the type of product made from bioplastics that are produced as a food or beverage container with good quality and durability and an attractive design. The marketing strategy that can be done is to sell products online and promote products at significant events such as expos and bazaars.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of the effect of performance appraisal on career development at the Atinggola District Office, North Gorontalo Regency. This study used a sample of 31 respondents, the questionnaire was used as the main data collection tool, and hypothesis testing was analyzed using regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is shown that the hypothesis that performance appraisal has a positive and significant effect on employee career development is proven by the regression coefficient value. The contribution given by the performance appraisal variable to career development is 0.537 or 53.7%, that if the performance appraisal variable increases by one unit, career development (Y) increases by 0.537. From the processed data, it can be seen that the coefficient of determination is r2 = 0.695. This value means that 69.5% of the independent variable X can explain the dependent variable Y and 30.5% is explained by other variables, or in other words that the contribution of the independent variable, namely performance appraisal to career development, is 69.5% while the rest is 30.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of price, customer value, and company image on customer satisfaction in La Lati's broiler business. This research was conducted on 50 customers of La Lati's beef cattle business. The study was conducted using a questionnaire instrument that has been tested for validity and reliability. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, it was found that simultaneously and partially price, customer value and company image had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the asset structure, non-debt tax shields, firm size and profitability have on the capital structure of the Food and Baverages Sub-Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis. Asset structure has a positive and significant impact on the capital structure of companies listed in the Food and Beverage Industry Sector on the IDX for the 2014-2018 period. With the value of the beta coefficient included in the low category, the results of this study are in accordance with the Trade-off theory. Non-debt tax shields have no significant effect on the capital structure of companies listed in the Food and Beverage Industry Sector on the IDX for the 2014-2018 period. With the value of the beta coefficient being very low, the results of this study are not in accordance with the trade-off theory. Firm size has a significant effect on the capital structure of companies listed in the Food and Beverage Industry Sector on the IDX for the 2014-2018 period. With a low beta coefficient value. The results of this study are not in accordance with the pecking order theory. Profitability has a positive and significant effect on the capital structure of companies in the Food and Beverage Industry Sector Listing on the IDX for the 2014-2018 period. With the value of the beta coefficient is included in the low category. The results of this study are in accordance with the pecking order theory.
