Abstract

The aim this study was to find out the feasibility of wicker business in mimika regency.The analytical tool used is one sample t-test in order to test whether a particular value (parameter given as comparison) is significantly differentor not with a sample average.The result of the research showed that the wicker business in Mimika regency is feasible to be implemented. One sample t-test shows the t-value (-102.797) <t table (2.093) so Ho is accepted that means no significant difference between the actual value of the non-financial aspect and the ideal value of the nonfinancial aspect, which means the effort Concerned is non-financially feasible

Abstract

The aim this studyto analyze the ratio of the fulfillment of the Elementary School Education Institution in the Mimika Baru District of Mimika Regency. Data collection tool used in the research is to conduct interviews and direct observation to get the ratio of needs and fulfillment of Primary School. The result of this research shows that the requirement of the elementary school education institution is in accordance with the number of elementary school children in Mimika Baru District of Mimika Regency, which are 50 elementary schools which are available with the number of primary school children as many as 27,263 children, but the problem is the deployment and capacity not evenly distributed

Abstract

The aim of this research to find out whether there was a significant difference between the social life quality of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency.To mesuare the quality of social life of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency, used four indicators namely ethics, aesthetic, religious and social value.Data collecting done by literature study, observation and questionnaire. To analyze the data that obtained used frequency distribution analysis by giving scala to the question than compare the quality of social life of community that work in formal and informal sector in Mimika regency.Based on the results of the research, there was not the significant difference of quality partially and simultaneously between social life of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency. Partial was done by comparing the value of X2 table and value of X2 count. The partial test results done by comparing between value of Dtable and Do. Value of Do obtained is 0.22 while the value of Dtable obtained from each indicators are the ethical value of 0.01, aesthitic value of 0.16, religious value of 0.04 and the social value of 0.03. From value of Dtable obtained in all indicators of the quality of social life of community is lower than the value of Do so that partially there was not significant difference in quality between social life of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency. While simultaneous test is done by comparing the value of Do and Dtable obtained Do < Dtable is 0.03 <0.11 Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted rejected which means there was not significant quality difference simultaneously between the social life of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to know the significant difference between trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency. (2) to know the factors that influence the income difference between trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency.The analysis instruments used to measure the income difference of trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency are median test.The result of analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the trained and non trained farmer.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) analyze the growth classification of economic sectors in the Mimika Regency; (2) analyze the basic sector of the economy in the Mimika Regency; (3) analyzing the share and shifts in the economy sector Mimika Regency.This study uses secondary data obtained from BPS-StatisticsPapua Province, BPS-Statistics Mimika, and Department of Planning and Regional Development Mimika. Data were analyzed using analysis Klassen Typology, Location Quotient, and Shift-Share analysis.The results of this research show that: (1) Sector classified as andeveloped sector in the Mimika Regency is Electricity and Gas sector, sector of Accomodation, Food and Beverages. (2) Sectors is a basic sector in Mimika is the sector of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, sector of Electricity and Gas, sector Water, Waste Management, cesspit and recycling, Construction sector, the sector of Wholesale and Retail trade, Cars and Motorcycles Reparations, sectors Transportation and Warehousing, sector of Accommodation, Food and Beverages, sector Information and Communications, Fnance and insurance sector, Real Estate, Public administration, defense, and compulsory social security, and sector Other Services. (3) The sectors that have competitive advantages (D) in Mimika are sectors of Manufacturing industry, Electricity and Gas sector, sector of Accommodation, food and beverages. (4) By combining the results of the analysis Klassen Typology, Location Quotient, and Shift Share, then the sectors which are the leading sectors in the Mimika Regency is the Electricity and Gas sector, sector of Accommodation, food and beverages

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the competitiveness work ini native Papuan traders of Timika Central Market, and identify factors constraining in the competitiveness. The research using descriptive research methodto describe the object. Data collection using observation and questionnaire. Chi Square analysis (X2)occupied to analyze the competitiveness of native Papuan traders and the factors constraining one sampel. The results showed that competitiveness of native Papuan traders were hindered by five factors. Namely lack of goods competence, less attractive arrangement of selling goods, low quality of goods, prices of goods that are less competitive and inadequate shopping facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine constraining factors of the effectiveness of waste management in the city of Timika in terms of of storage, collection, transfer, transportation, and processing of the waste. This research used descriptive method to describe the constraining factors of the effectiveness of waste management.. Data collection occupied by observation and questionnaires. Data analysis used Rating Scale and Z Test. The results of the analysis showed that the value of -Ztable> - Zaccount. Therefore storage, collection, transfer, transportation, and waste processing werethe constraining factors of the effectiveness of waste management in Mimika Regency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of regional expenditure on economic growth in Mimika Regency. The research used comparative causal method, which intended to measure the effect or investigate the effects caused by the independent variable (regional expenditure) to the dependent variable (economic growth). Data collected by interview techniques, literature study and documentation. To determine the effect of regional expenditure on economic growth in Mimika Regency, a simple linear regression analysis tool is occupied. The results showed that there was no significant correlation between regional expenditure and economic growth.. Bivariate Person correlation analysis results show r-count value (0.371) <r-table value (0.632) then Ho is accepted, meaning that there is no significant correlation between regional expenditure with economic growth in Mimika Regency. This indicates that the fiscal policy of the regional government through the Mimika Regency APBD, especially in the aspect of regional expenditure has not been able to significantly encourage economic growth of the Mimika Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effectiveness of updating the PBB-P2 data to the increase of PBB-P2 tax revenue, as well as to determine the contribution of PBB-P2 to the increase revenue from Regional Taxes (do you mean: Local government taxes) and Original Regional Revenues in Mimika Regency. (Do you mean: Local Government Original revenue). This research using descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. Data Collected by observation, interview, documentation and literature review. To measure the effectiveness of PBB-P2 data updating on the increase of PBB-P2 tax revenue is analyzed by comparing realization of PBB-P2 before and after updating the PBB-P2 data. while to measure the contribution of PBB-P2 to the increase in revenue from Regional Tax and Regional Original Revenue in Mimika Regency (??) used contribution analysis. The results showed that after updating the data of PBB-P2, the average level of acceptance of PBB-P2 increased by 101.47%, with Very Effective criteria. While the average contribution of PBB-P2 to Regional Tax after updating the data is 16.73% with the criteria for Less and the average contribution of the PBB-P2 to the Original Local Revenue after updating the data is 10.34% with the criteria Less. This shows that the updating of PBB-P2 data did not make a significant contribution to Regional Taxes and Regional Original Revenues because the Realization of Regional Taxes and the realization of Regional Original Revenues were not followed by an increase in the realization of PBB-P2.

Abstract

This study aims to: (a) find out and analyze the effectiveness of KRPL program implementation in household of KWT Mee members in perintis district, Mimika Baru District in Mimika Regency, and (b) find out and analyze the significance of differences in vegetable consumption expenditure of KWT Mee member household in perintis district Mimika Baru in Mimika Regency before and after implementing the KRPL program.This research method is a descriptive method, namely the procedure of problem abuse that is investigated by describing the state of the subject or object in the research that can be people, institutions, communities and others in the present and the future.Data were collected using interview observation and documentation methods. To answer the first problem formulation of this study, the analytical tool used was effectiveness analysis with the help of simple statistical methods, while to answer the second problem formulation paired t test was used.The analysis shows: (a) the implementation of the KRPL program in KWT Mee member household in perintis village, Mimika Baru District, Mimika Regency has been running effectively, with the achievement value of the effectiveness of the program implementation of 86.77% which is in the very effective category, and (b) there significant difference in consumption of household vegetable consumption from household members of KWT Mee, perintis village, Mimika Baru district, Mimika regency before and after implementing the KRPL program, where the average vegetable consumption expenditure of the program participants after participating in the program is smaller than the average vegetable consumption expenditure community participating in the program before joining the program.
