Abstract

MSMEs in the tourism sector play an important role in business development and continue to contribute to economic strength and social development in various countries, one of which is Indonesia, and support each other and contribute to generating foreign exchange for the country. The euphoria of the world community has caused tourism visits to increase, especially after Indonesia officially hosted World Tourism Day or World Tourism Day 2022, which had the impact of becoming increasingly well-known to the tourism sector, especially Samosir Regency. This research took a population of 462 MSMEs in Samosir Regency with a sampling technique, namely cluster random sampling with a sample size of 150 MSMEs in 2 Districts of Samosir Regency. Data sources include secondary data originating from relevant agencies and primary data directly from business actors. Data collection techniques use interview documentation and questionnaires. The research results showed that the influence of Go-digitalization and transformational leadership was positive and significant on competitive strategies for MSME actors in the Tourism and Creative Economy sectors of Samosir Regency. The development of digital technology is increasingly rapid, especially after the pandemic disaster. This also encourages community actors to shop online. It's no wonder that electronic trading platforms are selling well as people's choice for shopping and transactions. MSME digital acceleration is carried out to build competitiveness so that MSMEs can be stronger. Transformational leadership is the process of mobilizing all one's abilities to influence, move, direct other people. Transformational leadership is a process of mobilizing all one's abilities to influence, move and direct other people. The suggestion from this research is government support to encourage and provide assistance to business actors so they are able to compete with other tourism industries. One form of support is for the government to provide space for learning to realize technological literacy through outreach and training to business actors. Then we need to utilize new marketing strategies, actively producing goods that consumers can buy directly for the types of products that are currently on the rise during the pandemic.

Abstract

Digibank, a progressive private bank, has consistently targeted younger demographics with its campaigns. Offering free administrative charges on transfers, Digibank has positioned itself as a brave and innovative player in the financial sector. However, its promotion of student loans raises questions about the alignment between its financial literacy efforts and its product offerings. This paper explores this paradox within Digibank Indonesia's Instagram campaigns. The study employs content analysis to investigate posts from Digibank Indonesia's Instagram account over a one-year period (2023-2024). The focus is on messages related to financial literacy, free transfer services, and student loans. The findings reveal that while Digibank promotes financial literacy and offers attractive banking services such as free transfers, it also actively promotes student loans. This marks a significant acknowledgment that student loan debt is an emerging issue in Indonesia. These findings have implications for both policy-makers and consumers. For policy-makers, understanding how banks communicate about products like student loans can inform regulations around financial advertising. For consumers, particularly young people who are the primary targets of these campaigns, this research highlights the need for critical engagement with banking advertisements.

Abstract

In the realm of software project development, it's not uncommon for changes to emerge at various stages of a project's lifecycle. Such alterations can manifest in virtually every facet of the software development process, from conceptual design decisions down to the minutiae of the source code. To proficiently manage and track these dynamic changes, professionals turn to a specialized toolset known as Software Configuration Management (SCM). One of the standout features that SCM tools bring to the table is the 'diff' capability. This functionality allows developers to identify and review the disparities between two versions of source code. Recognizing the importance and utility of this feature, the primary objective of this research is to create an advanced diff application. This application, by leveraging the Myers Diff algorithm, is meticulously designed to pinpoint and showcase differences in characters between two sets of text-based data. Moreover, it accentuates these differences by visually highlighting the contrasting characters between the two datasets. To ensure the reliability and accuracy of this newly developed tool, we undertook a series of validation tests. We juxtaposed the results from our application against those from a comparable existing tool. Impressively, the discrepancies in results were minimal, with a marginal difference of just 1%. This suggests not only the utility but also the precision of our application in real-world software development scenarios.
