Abstract

Reality media is all real media which is available in nature environment, as well using whilealive or in the preserved condition. Reality media is a real thing which is using as a material orlearning resource. Based on the research result which is done in two cycles, it can be concludethat reality media is able to increasing the math learning ability in geometry concept in thestudent of fourth grade SD N Rejosari 01 in the academic year 2014/2015. The increasing ofstudent learning ability in math subject in the geometry concept is proved by the appearingof student score in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, the average score of student learning result inmath subject in geometry concept is 55,0, then it the first cycle, the student average scoreincrease to be 66,5, and in the second cycle, the average ability score also increase into 77,0

Abstract

Inquiry method which is done by the teacher is including several steps: [1] orientation, theteacher gives apperception, motivation, and explain the learning goal; [2] formulating theproblem, the teacher gives some questions to the students; [3] formulating the hypothesis,from the question will give hypothesis or temporary answer; [4] collecting data, explain thelearning goal which will be learned later, then share the student’s work sheet to eachgroups and read the working steps which will be done for hypothesis test; [5] testing thehypothesis, guiding, monitoring the students, directing the student to write theexperiment result; and [6] formulating the conclusion, student are reading their discussionresult and the teacher give enforcement

Abstract

The result of the research shown that teacher of science in the fifth grade has beenimplemented active learning strategy which is including eight indicators and according toMelvin L. Silberman’s theory, they are full-class learning, calss discussion, questionprompting, collaborative learning, peer teaching, independent learning, affective learning,and skill development. In the learning process, teacher is implementing eight indicators ofactive learning in the science learning. Each MI has been done well implementing activelearning indicators, but there are still any indicators which haven’t done maximally. Theresearcher is comparing the implementation of active learning in the science learning inthree Islamic elementary schools (MI). From each aspects of active learning have its ownexcess, weakness, development chance and obstacle in the implementation of sciencelearning.
