Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of occupational health safety programs and physical work conditions on the performance of production department employees at PT Bahagia Jaya Sejahtera. The population and sample amounted to 36 employees in the production section at PT Bahagia Jaya Sejahtera. Data collection through questionnaires and interviews. Instrument testing is done with validity and reliability. Analysis of research data includes multiple regression analysis, correlation and simultaneous and partial significance tests. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis the occupational health safety program and physical work environment conditions have a positive and significant effect on performance and the F test results state that simultaneous occupational health safety programs and physical work environment conditions affect employee performance. While the results of the test state that workload and work environment partially affect employee performance Increased workload within the limits of the ability of employees can improve employee performance.

Abstract

Nursing care is a form of professional services is an integral part of health care that is based on nursing science and troubleshooting. Therefore, the professionalism of nurses urgently needed to avoid the risk of malpractice. Knowing and analyzing the professionalism of nurses, identify and analyze the risk of malpractice level overview of nurses, identify and analyze the influence of professionalism of nurses to the risk of malpractice. This study used a descriptive correlation with cross-sectional study design research. The sample used is purposive sampling with criteria D.III or S1 educated and have experience of at least five years, the instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale, α = 5%. The nurses are categorized as less professional as much as 46.7%. Professional nurses who enter the category of 53.3%, nurses who are at risk of malpractice as much as 46.67%. The relationship between the risk of occurrence of Nursing Professionalism malpractice proved insignificant. The pattern of the relationship between professionalism Nurse Occurrence Malpractice Risk shows that nurses are less professional riskier commit malpractice. While professional careers tendency is not at risk of doing malpractices. It is better to find out the relationship between professionalism and malpractice, it is necessary to conduct research with other independent variables.

Abstract

MGMP is a community of teachers to always learn (long life learning). Rapid development of the times requires the teacher to participate in the pursuit of knowledge. Lifelong learning is the teacher's obligation to generate knowledge. This is necessary because the teacher is a facilitator of students to gain knowledge. In line with that, teachers are expected to master every change process so students can also face global challenges. These results indicate that the majority of teachers who come to MGMP IPA Bogor District civil servants Teachers. MGMP activities are a place that facilitates teachers' mutual learning together. MGMP members consist of various teachers from different schools. The results show the MGMP majority forum of senior teachers. Senior Teachers are expected to guide junior and mediator teachers to learn from one another. The results of the study concluded that continuing professional development needs to be developed, then content, then creativity, ICT and finally SK and KD to improve teacher competence. The activity steps are arranged to help activate and optimize activities, namely by self-development, scientific publications, and scientific work in the Bogor District MGMP.

Abstract

Now a days, students tend to learn the concept of evolution through various sources independently through memorizing or reading on their own and unaware of the mutual relations among them in everyday life. The tendency leads makes learning the concept of evolution becomes meaningless and not profound, even though there are many studies that states that scientific reasoning will make the knowledge gained more meaningful and profound. This study aims to test the hypothesis, is there whether any correlation between students' concept mastery levelwith students' scientific reasoning skills in the evolution learning process. A total of 33 students participated in this study. Students' reasoning skills are obtained through the use of Test of logical thinking (TOLT), while students' concept mastery of evolution was assessed using concept knowledge assessment. The results of this study indicate that there is a correlation between students' scientific reasoning skills and students' concept mastery, where the tendency is that students who think formally are more dominant in obtaining high scores or better concept mastery of the knowledge.

Abstract

Novel works usually raise various phenomena that occur in the community. These interesting works can influence the soul of the reader so that they can dive in and appear to be present in the story. In literary psychology,novel is Laila Majnun's very appropriate to study because it can see the psychological phenomenon experienced by the main character of the story, Layla and Majnun. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Representation of human behavior seen through the figures Majnun, Layla, and Syed Omri who experienced chronic frustration, so that ended in death.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze individual characteristics of the entrepreneurs from household industries of local foods, the government policy support, entrepreneurial competence level as well as the determinant factors of the entrepreneurial competence of household industries of local foods in Bogor district’s, West Java . The study uses survey methods using descriptive statistical analysis and inference statistics to 231 home-based local food manufacturing industries in 14 sub-districts and 20 villages in Bogor. The results of this study indicate that the entrepreneurial competencies of household industries of local foods in Bogor district’s is low. The determinant factors of the entrepreneurial competence consist of formal education, motivation, and cosmopolitan mindset of the household industry entrepreneurs of local foods as well as the government policy support for the development of household industries of local foods. To increase the entrepreneurial competence of the entrepreneurs from household industries of local food, the entrepreneurs need to increase their non-formal education, motivation, and cosmopolitan mindset as well as the goverment policy support
