Palmyra Fiber as Additional Materials on Solid Concrete Brick of Aggregate
ISSN : 20399340     EISSN : 20392117     DOI : 10.36941/mjss
The use of waste as an additional material on the building work was increasingly actively developed, such as straw, styrofoam, bagasse, cow manure. The key drivers of the use of waste is the potential for waste is increasing, due to the depletion of non-renewable resources. Papyrus rod diameter 60 cm, length 30 meters, has a volume of 5,652m3 as well as the edges of the Rods that can be used for construction with a thickness of 3 cm has a volume 0,942m3, Pith and fiber volume content of the stem 4,71m3/rod, then in one rod, there are 2 to 3 bunches each fruit bunches yield as much as 20 to 30 items for one harvest, by weight of fruit fiber 101.2 gram / fruit, Fiber characteristics are round and smooth is expected to reduce cracks in solid concrete brick and also can reduce the use of sand. This study aims to determine the compressive strength of the composition of the additional material of Rods fiber content and Fiber of palmyra fruit with a percentage 3%, 6% and 9%, mixing ratio; 1 cement and 5 sand in the manufacture of solid concrete brick. Rods fiber content used the average Ø1,031mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 39,305N / cm and fruit fiber to an average value Ø0,40mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 33,691N / cm. Making test specimen with a length of 20cm, width 10cm and thick 8cm. The test results of compressive strength after 14 days with the lowest value at 3% of additional material combination of fiber content of 6% fiber stem and fruit by 70,384Kg/cm²with a water content of 15,254% In weight position 2,935Kg as well as the highest value on the combination of additional material 0% rods fiber content and 3% fruit fiber by 98,821Kg/cm² with a water content of 15,031% In weight position 3,058Kg. While N (without additional material) with a compressive strength below the average id 63,704Kg/cm2 with water content of 10,167 in weight position 3,072Kg. Research result of solid concrete brick with additional material of rods fiber content and palmyra fruit fiber was included on the type B70, the average value of the compressive strength of 78.57 Kg / cm² (SNI-03-1348-1989) with a water content of <25%.

Abstract

This research paper gives an overview of Albania`s opening of its trade towards the European market and provides somerecommendations so that the Albanian economy can at its best benefit from the European integration by strengthening its economy andmaking use of the potential that it has. Albania is currently pursuing a path of greater Euro-Atlantic integration, with primary long termgoal to gain EU membership and to promote closer bilateral ties with its neighbors. Its economy has improved substantially over therecent years and has outperformed many other countries in the region. However, the liberalization of the Albanian economy so far, though overall positive, has not enabled Albania to gain a competitive advantage. Because of the tremendous impact the integrationprocesses have in themselves in liberalizing trades, this research paper puts forward arguments that Albania, should, as first makestructural reforms to boost competition and improve the business climate. In addition, Albania should benefit every opportunity towards awider trade volume, such as a common Albania – Kosova trade by developing single fiscal policies, financial infrastructure, labor trade, custom regulations and common institutional development, leaving open doors to Macedonia integration too. In this respect, heavyinvestments in the country’s main road corridors have contributed to improved transportation conditions. Yet, similar large-scaleinfrastructure investments are needed to further improve Albania’s road transportation corridors and railway system as well as expandthe capacity of its sea ports and airports. Lastly (the milestone), given its biggest wealth, the geographical position, this paper suggestsAlbania make attempts to raise those branches of industry which would naturally fit into the European trade. In this respect, it can atbest, act as a transit point of biggest energetic networks and other continental networks, which will open doors to further development ofservice business sector in Albania.

Abstract

Tourist arrivals, in Italy, are concentrated in areas where cultural and natural heritage is associated to the organization ofterritories, equipped areas and services. In particular these issues are important for foreigners tourists who need a lot of services tospend a good period. In this work we aims to analyze the characteristics of Italian provinces and the capacity of attractiveness of theseterritories; on this way, to analyze the touristic flow in Italian provinces, first of all we have individuated the ten best performances ofitalian provinces with respect to domestic and international tourist arrivals and permanence during the year 2008. We intend to deepenthe relationships of the most important component in these four groups with the best performances of attraction (best performance ofdomestic tourism in terms of arrivals and permanence; best performance of foreigners tourists in terms of arrivals and permanence).Through four principal component analysis we have analyzed the key variables for each group: infrastructure, transports, hotels, otherstructures able to receive the tourists, restaurants, cultural and naturalistic heritage (museums, UNESCO sites, parks), organization ofevents, entertainments (sport, disco etc). With this methodology emerges that in some cases, the organization of territories, thepresence of adequate structure and infrastructure is more important than the presence of significant cultural and natural sites. Thesources of data are the National Institute for Statistics (ISTAT), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO), Trail and Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation and Italian Authors and Publishers Association (SIAE).

Abstract

Although entrepreneurship as a process has been present for centuries, entrepreneurship as an academic area of study hasbeen introduced recently. And, like other economic and social disciplines it does not have clear-cut borders. Instead it overlaps, drawsupon, complements and includes other areas of study including business and management, sociology, psychology, economics, finance, and public policy. This is a multidisciplinary research study among Albanian and Macedonian students in Macedonia with the aim tostudy the development of entrepreneurship in Macedonia, to observe factors that are triggering and fueling entrepreneurial mindsets andwhat makes people want to become entrepreneurs with socio-demographic characteristics, especially ethnicity and cultural differences,of the students interviewed under review (gender, age, level of education completed, occupation, parents’ occupation and locality –urbanor rural)

Abstract

The world’s distribution of income, was been an ongoing concern for economists and scholars worldwide. Global incomeinequalities have also increased. Income inequalities exist for many reasons. Nowadays exist the big gap between the rich and the poorpeople. What is the definition of poverty? How many people in the world live in poverty? How poverty rates have changed over the lastfew decades? What is the situation of the poverty in Albania? Because of the global crises the number of the people that live with lessthan 2$ in days is growing faster than before. The population that are living with the less than 2 $ in day are identify as the bottom of thepyramid. The company cannot ignore the segment of the people that live with the less than 2 $ in day. This segment is becoming to beday by day bigger and to grow fast. For many international companies is important to adapt their strategies and their products to thatsegment. Abstract

Foreign direct investment plays an important role in economic development of the country. For this reasons, governments useincentive policies to attract more foreign investors. Albania has attracted a remarkable amount of FDI inflows in recent years. In keysectors like mining, banking and telecoms, the Albanian economy is dominated by foreign investors. That suggests that there is morepossibility for increased FDI in the country. It is important that the types of FDI Albania attracts are those with the potential to benefit theeconomy. The high share of FDI in certain industries of the country is partly a sign of weaknesses in the domestically-owned part ofthese industries. The objective of this study is to perform a SWOT analysis of Albania for FDI after covering the determinants and hosteconomy effects of FDI.

Abstract

The objectif of this article is to present the actual policies of Aide for Development, Public and Private Aide. Although manyefforts have been done by the whole international community to fight the poverty and and help poor countires toward their development itstill remains a challenge. At the beginning of this article I try to define and construct the concept of development trying to expose all thetheoiries od development that have influenced many actions undertaken by many international governments.Than I try to analyse thePublic Aide for the Development and its compelx and difficult functioning.. The article is a result of a systematic literature review, theoretical one but also I have consulted the annual raports edited by International Organisms suc as Mondial Banque, UNDP , UNICEFetc.. Based on the analyse of the distribution of the Public Aide for Development I constat the economic and political goals stayingbehind it.This is in a way what it is a challenge the amelioration of the efficassity of Aide. Everybody agrees that the coodnation of bothbilateral and multilateral aide should be improved in ordrer to make the one more coherent. The distribution should be also moretransparent and with the participation of the beneficiary countries. Based on the analyse and the results of this analyse I sugesst thatapart of economic methods and tools used we must work to use some innovative and new strategies taking into the consideration thevoice of civil society NGO/s and local population. It is the time to redefine the concept of development but is still remains a challenge.

Abstract

In this study, it is addressed the problem of reducing pollution through the use of technical publications for vehicle users. They will inform the user in terms of vehicle choice with the lesser degree of pollution and recognition of ways for reducing of thepollution level for vehicles in use. Also provision of knowledge on damage that vehicle gases cause on human health will lead toincreased interest in knowing the ways and new technologies in terms of reducing pollution from vehicles, which they use. Below it isshown the analysis of pollutant emissions that vehicles generate in the atmosphere, depending on years of production according tomanufacturing factory, for the years 1992-2009. While it is shown the current situation of the structure of vehicles in Albania, from whichresults, that dominate vehicles manufactured before 1996 at over 70%. From the study it results, that if the vehicles in circulation will beonly produced vehicles after 2000-2005, the pollution level reduction in urban centers will be reduced at least 3 times. At the bottom it isanalyzing the impact of technical maintenance of vehicles, to their pollution level. Results show that a bad technical maintenance of thevehicle during use, could lead to the growth of polluting emissions by 3 times compared to standards. For this the methods used todayto maintain engine performance and emission reduction of vehicles in use are shown. Subsequently it is shown that providing technicalmaintenance of vehicles in circulation will become through technical publications and environmental additional tax and therefore we willachieve a reduction of the pollution level in urban areas over 2 times.
