Palmyra Fiber as Additional Materials on Solid Concrete Brick of Aggregate
The use of waste as an additional material on the building work was increasingly actively developed, such as straw, styrofoam, bagasse, cow manure. The key drivers of the use of waste is the potential for waste is increasing, due to the depletion of non-renewable resources. Papyrus rod diameter 60 cm, length 30 meters, has a volume of 5,652m3 as well as the edges of the Rods that can be used for construction with a thickness of 3 cm has a volume 0,942m3, Pith and fiber volume content of the stem 4,71m3/rod, then in one rod, there are 2 to 3 bunches each fruit bunches yield as much as 20 to 30 items for one harvest, by weight of fruit fiber 101.2 gram / fruit, Fiber characteristics are round and smooth is expected to reduce cracks in solid concrete brick and also can reduce the use of sand. This study aims to determine the compressive strength of the composition of the additional material of Rods fiber content and Fiber of palmyra fruit with a percentage 3%, 6% and 9%, mixing ratio; 1 cement and 5 sand in the manufacture of solid concrete brick. Rods fiber content used the average Ø1,031mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 39,305N / cm and fruit fiber to an average value Ø0,40mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 33,691N / cm. Making test specimen with a length of 20cm, width 10cm and thick 8cm. The test results of compressive strength after 14 days with the lowest value at 3% of additional material combination of fiber content of 6% fiber stem and fruit by 70,384Kg/cm²with a water content of 15,254% In weight position 2,935Kg as well as the highest value on the combination of additional material 0% rods fiber content and 3% fruit fiber by 98,821Kg/cm² with a water content of 15,031% In weight position 3,058Kg. While N (without additional material) with a compressive strength below the average id 63,704Kg/cm2 with water content of 10,167 in weight position 3,072Kg. Research result of solid concrete brick with additional material of rods fiber content and palmyra fruit fiber was included on the type B70, the average value of the compressive strength of 78.57 Kg / cm² (SNI-03-1348-1989) with a water content of <25%.

Negative attitudes towards foreign cultures among certain categories of people in majority Islamic countries are often the result of their representations of the Other, their conception of alterity, of their identity and the relation between them, their vision of the implications of the confrontation with/or coexistence of different cultures in the same physical space or through mediated spaces. These representations have become a culture in its own right, giving birth to a categorisation of people within the same society and of peoples of the world. This paper will attempt to reveal the way this culture dichotomy operates and will analyse the mode its ideological base defines the dichotomy of alterity/identity. It will also suggest directions of reflexion towards the possibilities of forging a counter-culture which can stand as a new form of liberating discourse.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of finance within the corporate strategy. In dealing with the process of geographical decentralization of the activities of the value chain, every company is in contact with different areas, each of which may require different ways of interaction. The interaction can take place with the creation of a constructive dialogue between stakeholders with different cultures and behavior and may allow the central structure to assess the exact dynamics of local situations and to improve the dynamics of financial processes, so over time the finance function has changed its purpose considering the overall uncertainty and specificity of local.

This study investigated age differentials in the perception of women towards family stress. The descriptive survey design was used and a total of 200 women were randomly selected from two public and private secondary schools and the Ministry of Education in Port Harcourt Municipal Area in Rivers State of Nigeria. The research instrument used was a researcher- designed ‘Family Stress Questionnaire’. Simple percentage and ANOVA inferential statistics were used in data analysis. The study revealed that there was a statistical significant difference among women of various age groups in their perception of family stress (F-cal. = 17.03; p<.05).Specifically, Duncan’s Multiple Range test showed that the women in the age range of 51-60yrs and 61 years and above were significantly different in their perception of family stress from those in the age range of 25-30years; 31-40 years and 41-50 years. Based on these findings, it was recommended among others that the younger women be counselled on issues relating to family stress before marriage, by employing pre-marital counselling. Using group and individual counselling techniques, counsellors should assist women generally in being assertive and to imbibe right attitudes that will help them cope with stress in the family. Current Italian Health legislation is a paradigmatic example of a system based on the fundamental principles of the safeguardand right to individual health. This raises the question of its evolution and gradual shaping stemming from very old and deep roots. Sucha long process started in the second half of the 19th century, when the newly reunified Kingdom of Italy, born in 1861, started to face theissue of a very obsolete health system. A number of laws sequentially provided the regulation of physician activities and health care for allpeople in need, regardless of their economic status and without any religious or political belief distinction, and culminate in the“Comprehensive Law on Health†enacted in 1934. These whole systems of laws have oriented the legislation on health care andorganization, becoming a fundamental landmark until the promulgation of the Italian Constitution in 1948.

Greece from the beginning of the decade 1990 and afterwards has become a country of reception of refugees and economicimmigrants, mainly from countries of Eastern and southern-eastern Europe. Such kind of incidents resulted to the fear for the foreigner, the xenophobia towards populations that were considered as underdeveloped due to the arrangements that had prevailed in them after theend of Second World War and their weakness of communication with the remainder world. During the last period a big discussion hasarised concerning the subject of citizenship concession among immigrants and their families, specifically in the space of local selfgovernment.

This paper focuses on the relationship between literature and ideology in a former communist country, namely in Albania. The relationship between literature and ideology in Albania resulted in both aesthetical and political consequences, during communismand also in post-communism.In the aesthetical point of view this relationship damaged the previous literary tradition in Albania, it created a limitedlinguistic model in all literary genres, and it formed a false concept of Realism to the readers and an unlikely perception of the socialreality itself. This relationship between literature and ideology caused the denigration of the dissenting authors and their expulsion fromthe literary history even though they were representatives in the Albanian literature. In the social and political point of view it strongly supported the war of classes through imprisonments, internal exile of thewriters and their families, and even the execution of the writers that were considered enemies of the Party and people.Even presently in post-communist Albania there are still opened debates on the political persecutions of the writers based onlyon their ideological disagreement with the regime, but also about the other side of the issue, which is the possible connection between writersand the State Apparatuses where they might have served during dictatorship. These phenomena will be analyzed basing on methodological lines that are mainly culturologic ones.

The present study shows how Shakespeare seeks to manipulate the reader's response in Hamlet by using contradictions andambiguities and how the reader eventually reconstructs a palpable world in the impalpable world of the text. These contradictions compelthe reader to participate in the composition of the text and make him keep changing his own approach to the work with the result that themore he reads the play, the deeper he finds himself entrenched in contradictions. As he fails to grasp the logic of events, the reader relateshis own world to the text instead of relating the events to his world and recreates his own world. Therefore, he can easily detach himselffrom the text and let his imagination run loose as the play proves too vague for him to comprehend. Eventually, the reality achieved by thereader in the course of reading the play is only the reality, which dwells in the innermost recesses of his mind.

The ability to compose a piece of argumentative text is important for EFL and ESL learners. Despite its importance, thereis a gap in the literature about how Iranian students write essays in this genre that this study intends to fill. Building upon Halliday andHasan's (1976) cohesion theory, this study intended to investigate Iranian graduate non-English majors' use of cohesive devices inargumentative essays, and also the relationship between the number of cohesive devices and writing quality. An analysis of fortyargumentative essays written by forty Iranian graduate non-English majors showed that the students were familiar with various cohesivedevices and used them in their writings. Among the cohesive devices used lexical devices had the largest percentage of the total number ofcohesive devices, followed by reference devices and conjunction devices. Furthermore, it was found that there was no significant relationshipbetween the number of cohesive devices used and quality of writing. The findings of the study have some important implications for EFLwriting teachers and learners.
